Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in Florida. I received my Masters from the University of Central Florida and have been practicing since 2022. I help people who find themselves struggling to connect with themself and others, whether they're young and in school, midlife and married, or retired and adjusting to changes. We work together to rebuild those connections.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to creating a safe, affirming space where individuals and couples can explore their identities, experiences, and challenges without fear of judgment. My primary specialty is providing inclusive counseling for the LGBTQ+ community. I offer sexuality and gender-affirming care, sex therapy, and polyamory/kink-informed counseling. I also specialize in supporting clients of all ages who are navigating the impacts of complex trauma and PTSD, offering compassionate care tailored to each person’s unique healing process.
In addition, I bring expertise in working with children, adolescents, and adults with brain-based differences such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), and other conditions of neurodiversity. My approach integrates education, skill-building, and empowerment—helping individuals, couples, and families thrive in daily life while supporting parents and caregivers in understanding and meeting the needs of their loved ones.
Together, we can create a space for reflection, self-discovery, and change, with an emphasis on building resilience and restoring connection to self and others.
I'm a licensed professional counselor and licensed mental health counselor, and I'm here to support you through life's challenges- whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, or the lasting effects of childhood trauma or dysfunction. My style is warm, compassionate, and solution-focused. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard, so in our sessions, you can expect a safe space where your story is honored without judgment. Together, we'll explore what's been holding you back and begin taking real steps toward positive change.
I'm Della Brumskine, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Canopy Clinical Group, a virtual therapy practice serving clients in Georgia and Pennsylvania. I work with adults navigating big life changes, relationship shifts, and the kind of moments that make you stop and ask "who am I now?" My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I bring a deep appreciation for the unique pressures of navigating multiple cultures, identities, and expectations at once. I meet clients fully virtually, so you can show up to sessions from wherever feels most comfortable for you.
Do you find yourself appearing capable and composed on the outside while quietly carrying a constant sense of pressure, responsibility, or emotional exhaustion on the inside? Many high-functioning professionals and women are skilled at managing work, relationships, and expectations, yet still feel overwhelmed by the invisible weight they carry.
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to creating a safe and affirming space where your experiences are heard, respected, and explored without judgment. My counseling approach honors the complexity of your life and the cultural, relational, and personal factors that shape how you show up in the world. Together, we examine the patterns that contribute to stress, over-responsibility, emotional urgency, and difficulty prioritizing your own needs.
In therapy, we work to slow down the cycle of constant doing and shift toward greater clarity, regulation, and self-understanding. This process often includes identifying long-standing patterns, strengthening emotional boundaries, and building healthier ways of responding to stress, relationships, and internal pressure.
My goal is to support you in processing life’s challenges while reconnecting with your strengths and capacity for balance. At the center of my work is the belief that meaningful change begins with awareness, followed by intentional repair and compassionate growth—an approach reflected in the Break. Repair. Heal.™ framework that guides my practice.

My name is Wanda Barnes, I am a licensed mental health therapist LMHC in Florida and a licensed professional counselor (LPC), in the State of Maine. I started working in substance abuse at 17 years old driving the bus that took clients to AA/NA. Many years later I am still passionate about working with those who struggle with addiction of any kind or those who love them. I also worked 9 years with children and families in schools and foster care. Later I opened and operated a mental health clinic in Florida.
My goal is to help with the obstacles that are blocking my client’s from becoming the best version of themselves. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, intensively trained in EMDR and DBT therapies. I’ve been serving the community in outpatient and residential settings for over 18 years.
I have earned a bachelor’s degree, in psychology, from Northeastern University and hold a double master’s: Counseling Psychology, from Lesley University and in Clinical Psychology, from Columbia University.
We are on this journey toward healing, change, growth, forgiveness, and understanding.
Even though you are the main participant in your story, many times in life we lose sight of where the way is, or even how to find it, so I invite you to join me on this path.
Humbly, without judging you or even assuming that I know more, allow me to lend you a different perspective and hopefully see the pain transformed.
Hi, I’m Jaki Neering, LCSW. I’m a trauma-informed therapist who’s passionate about creating safe, affirming spaces where you can feel seen and supported. My approach is holistic and somatic, helping folks reconnect with their minds, emotions, and inner wisdom.
Since 2017, I’ve worked closely with the LGBTQ+ community, offering care that’s affirming and grounded in compassion. I honor all the ways we learn to survive and gently support people in letting go of what no longer serves them.
I believe healing is possible, and it starts with feeling truly met. You deserve that space.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of dedicated clinical practice, specializing in the care of adults, adolescents, and couples. I hold a Master’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Christian Studies, a unique combination that allows me to integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a holistic perspective that honors both psychological and spiritual dimensions of healing.
My professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, cultivate resilience, and discover their fullest potential. My therapeutic style is compassionate, structured, and client-centered, blending cognitive-behavioral strategies, multicultural sensitivity, and strengths-based interventions. I believe that therapy is not only about resolving difficulties but also about fostering growth, clarity, and purpose.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am adept at working across cultures and supporting diverse populations. My multicultural fluency enables me to bridge communication gaps and create safe, inclusive spaces for clients from different backgrounds. I have extensive experience in cross-cultural counseling, helping clients adapt to new environments, manage identity transitions, and strengthen relationships across cultural divides.
My practice emphasizes:
- Individual Growth: Supporting adults and adolescents in managing stress, trauma recovery, identity development, and personal empowerment.
- Couples Therapy: Helping partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen intimacy.
- Family Systems Work: Guiding families through conflict resolution, parenting challenges, and intergenerational dynamics.
My professional philosophy is simple yet profound: therapy is a collaborative journey toward becoming the best version of oneself. With empathy, precision, and cultural awareness, I empower my clients to embrace change, cultivate resilience, and live with greater authenticity.
Hi, my name is Alicia and I am here to assist you with decreasing your anxiety or depression symptoms, and the burden of having to work towards overcoming it. This includes identifying triggers that stop you from working towards your goals. If you are struggling to be kind to yourself and be present in what your life holds, I am here to help you. Having a healthy life includes balance. Finding balance won't be easy, but we can work towards getting through it together.
How will we work through obstacles together? By using a whole person self approach to address your needs. A few of my counseling approaches include cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and client-centered therapy.
Seeking therapy isn't easy. Life can be so overwhelming, and seeking therapy can be a lifesaver. Everyone deserves a safe space to be heard. You deserve a safe space to be heard.
I’m a licensed therapist who strives to see families and parents learn new ways, techniques and strategies on how to cope with real life changes and see individuals learn about themselves and begin to process life challenges. I enjoy the traditional Florida lifestyle of exploring nature, the springs, the beaches and all the hiking trails and state parks Florida offers.
Painful experiences often lead people to develop protective strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. These strategies may appear as perfectionism, emotional avoidance, anger toward loved ones, or repeated involvement in unhealthy relationships. While they can offer temporary relief, they often create disconnection from oneself and others, contributing to feelings of loneliness, shame, anxiety, and depression.
I am dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their sense of self worth and process traumatic experiences that contribute to insecure attachment and unhelpful patterns. I believe that although emotional wounds often occur within relationships, healing also takes place through safe and supportive connection. With compassion, courage, and a willingness to explore difficult experiences, meaningful and lasting change is possible. Healing can happen, and there is always hope.
Great to meet you!
Are you often questioning yourself? Wondering how to navigate your relationships and where to go in your career? Do you struggle with social, spiritual or interpersonal conflict? Do you find that your difficulty with managing stress is impeding on your ability to be successful or functional? These questions are very common; the solutions, however, are often uncommon, but instead may feel complicated. Fortunately, addressing these questions do not have to remain a mystery.
I have over 25 years experience working to resolve mental health concerns. I have a Master's degree in Counseling, and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in FL. I have specialized training in resolving trauma, military/veteran issues, anxiety, depression, stress, and strategies for elevating your life experience. Hello and thank you for checking out my profile and considering me in your current journey. My name is Jeff Moyer, licensed mental health therapist. I understand that therapy can be intimating and so I applaud you for taking this step in looking at options for support. My goal is to help change the perception of therapy and help clients see it as a positive way to support mental health, and just another way of developing one's health, just like with our physical health. I want to guide clients in developing positive changes in their life, so they feel better and healthier, emotionally. Therapy isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about finding possible alternatives to support change in the areas that may be causing problems in our life. Thank you again for looking into ways to be more emotionally healthy, and I am here to help if you decide you would like to get started.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly overthinking, or emotionally drained—you’re not alone. I help individuals who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and relationship stress learn how to feel more in control and confident in their daily lives.
Many of my clients are high-functioning but feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, or emotional exhaustion. They’re used to carrying everything on their own and don’t always have the tools to slow their thoughts or regulate their emotions.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually keeping you stuck—and more importantly, how to change it. You’ll learn practical skills to manage anxiety, quiet overthinking, set healthy boundaries, and respond differently in situations that usually overwhelm you.
My approach is structured, supportive, and goal-oriented. I use evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused therapy to help you create real, lasting change—not just temporary relief. If desired, I also offer a Christian, faith-based perspective.
If you’re ready for therapy that is both supportive and practical, I’m here to help you build clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of control.

"Healing is possible, even when it feels far away."
I'm Liz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adults navigating trauma and PTSD.
Many of the people I work with are used to carrying a lot on their own. You may be the person others depend on—the one who keeps going, gets things done, and rarely lets anyone see how much you're struggling. On the outside, you may look like you're managing. On the inside, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode.
You might find yourself overthinking, staying constantly busy, feeling on edge, struggling to slow down, or wondering why certain patterns keep showing up in your relationships and daily life. Often, these responses developed for a reason. They helped you cope with difficult experiences and get through what you had to get through.
Trauma isn't just something that happened in the past. It can affect how safe you feel in the world, how you relate to others, and how you see yourself. It can leave you feeling disconnected from your emotions, your body, or the person you want to be. I provide a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space where we can explore these experiences at a pace that feels manageable. My approach is relational and collaborative. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we'll work together to understand the patterns that have been keeping you stuck, process past experiences, build coping tools that actually fit your life, and strengthen your connection to yourself.
My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more able to move through life with a greater sense of choice, confidence, and self-understanding. Healing looks different for everyone, and we'll work together to find what that looks like for you.
Hi, I’m Danielle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and feeling overwhelmed. My name is James Smith. I am a graduate of Florida State University College of Social Work. I lived in FL nearly all of my life, until in 2024 I had a chance to live closer to family in TN. My primary practice has been in the medical field, especially working with seniors with dementia and hospice. I currently work with dialysis patients. I am currently licensed in FL and TN and open for new patients. I believe that most individuals needing therapy already have the answers that they seek and need a trusted individual to listen to their concerns. When problems arise, I help you to navigate through your ideas, provide feedback and help you find success. I enjoy spending time with my family, training for and completing triathlons and working for better handwriting tools for lefties.

In personal time, I love taking my dogs for runs/walks/hikes, doing yoga/reiki/meditation/breathwork, dancing, riding my motorcycle, being in nature, and spending time with my loved family, friends, colleages, cats, and farm animals. Lol.
Many people come to therapy after spending months—or even years—trying to handle everything on their own. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, disconnected, or frustrated that despite your best efforts, things aren't getting better. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, therapy can help you regain clarity, develop effective coping strategies, and move forward with greater confidence.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience helping adults navigate complex mental health challenges and life stressors. As a Senior Social Worker with the Department of Veterans Affairs, I have extensive experience working with veterans, healthcare professionals, and individuals facing significant emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
My approach is practical, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about problems—it should help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop realistic strategies for meaningful change. Together, we'll build on your strengths while developing practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges more effectively.
I work particularly well with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also have a strong understanding of the unique experiences and challenges faced by veterans and military families.
Meaningful change begins with a willingness to take the first step. If you're ready to gain clarity, build effective coping strategies, and create a path forward that aligns with your goals and values, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
I’m a husband and dad to three boys (ages 16, 13 and 8), and family is a huge part of my life. We live on a 20-acre homestead where we raise chickens, goats, pigs, and cows, and we spend a lot of time in the garden. Life on the farm keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the value of patience, hard work, and slowing down to enjoy what really matters. Faith and community are also central for me. I’m actively involved in my church, and I see my work as an extension of that calling to walk alongside others.
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak. Alongside my therapy work, I am starting a tech start-up, I’ve run an online store, and I even dabble in Bitcoin mining. I enjoy the challenge of building things from the ground up and thinking outside the box. I also read a lot, and my libertarian leanings have been shaped by writers like Murray Rothbard. The conservative/libertarian focus on freedom, personal responsibility and low time preference connects deeply with how I approach life and therapy: we’re at our best when we are free to live with responsibility in society, own our choices, and pursue truth apart from coercion.
When it comes to therapy itself, I integrate my faith with practical, proven methods. I use Christian Counseling, CBT, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and the Gottman Method to help people grow emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. My goal is to give you a space where your values are respected, your faith is honored, and you feel equipped to face life’s challenges with hope and clarity.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the importance of faith, family, freedom, and practical tools for change, I’d love to walk with you on your journey.

If you're ready to take that first step toward lasting wellness, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute introductory call. Let’s begin your journey together.
I believe meaningful change comes from understanding not only what we do, but why we do it. My practice is grounded primarily in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which focuses on identifying the deeper emotional, relational, and unconscious patterns that shape how we experience ourselves, others, and the world. Many of the struggles people face today, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, addiction, and recurring life patterns, often have roots in earlier experiences that continue to influence present-day thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to understand these patterns so they no longer have to dictate your life.
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I aim to help clients develop greater emotional insight, strengthen their capacity to regulate difficult emotions, improve relationships, and build a more cohesive and authentic sense of self. I believe lasting psychological change occurs when we understand the underlying dynamics that drive our reactions instead of simply learning to manage them.
While psychodynamic therapy serves as the foundation of my work, I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when it is clinically appropriate. CBT can provide practical strategies for challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, reducing symptoms, and building healthier behavioral habits while complementing the deeper exploratory work of psychodynamic therapy.
I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that is thoughtful, collaborative, and emotionally attuned. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, personality difficulties, relationship concerns, or simply feel stuck in repeating the same patterns, therapy provides an opportunity to better understand yourself, develop greater resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the habits holding you back. Let's work together!
Welcome and thank you for expressing interest in my services! I’m Chris, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adults through life’s most overwhelming challenges. I know how hard it can feel to take the first step toward therapy whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, abandonment issues, trauma, or long-standing patterns that no longer serve you. If you’re here, you’ve already shown courage by exploring support and I’m glad you’re taking that step.
I believe therapy works best when we build mutual trust and understanding. In our work together, I’ll listen deeply to your story, help you make sense of what’s been holding you back, and collaborate with you to identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable. My approach blends well-established, evidence-based methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, with a warm, supportive space that honors your unique experience.
You’ll find I’m reliable, dedicated, and passionate about helping people create real, lasting change in their lives. My focus is always on what matters most to you and not on labels or checkboxes.
I was entered into two international honor societies (one is for the top 15% of students across the span of 8 countries with a flawless 4.0 GPA and the other is for the top students in the field of counseling specifically in the United States).
Please note: I am a licensed mental health counselor. If you are seeking medication management, you will need to book an appointment with a psychiatrist. I can assist with referrals upon request.
I am a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping clients navigate burnout. I am passionate because I have been there and was tired of getting unhelpful answers from people who meant well but did not seem to understand. Advice like ‘sleep it off’ and ‘take a deep breath’ we're common and it felt like I was putting a bandaid on a gaping wound. I promise, life does not need to be a constant cycle of burning out and starting again. Through our work together we will explore ways to ‘stitch’ the gaping wound so you are actually able to heal and move towards a more balanced life.
Through our work together I will use imagery and analogies to help you better understand how and why your body and mind is reacting the way it is. Like a birds eye view, I am able to see some of the signs that are right in front of you but are too zoomed in to see clearly. In a non-judgmental space I use education and a bit of humor to help you see the full picture and move towards a healthier balance.
Want to lose weight or otherwise improve your metabolic health? Feeling stuck, unmotivated, and/or stressed? I have very specialized experience helping people with lifestyle change. Change can be hard. I will help motivate and prepare you to make changes in your life toward improved overall well-being. For nearly 20 years, I've been practicing, researching, and teaching behavioral medicine, always with a focus on the relationship between mental health and physical health. Together, we will explore various ways you can improve your overall well-being, but the road you choose is ultimately up to you.

Thank you for sharing information about yourself. I'm so happy that you reached out for help. I am Michael Creech, a licensed therapist.
My goal is to meet you where you are by bringing a compassionate approach backed by formal training and experience and be a part of your goals in the change process. I am very personable as well as professional and I do not believe in one-sided relationships. I have a multidisciplinary, eclectic approach to therapy in which I utilize techniques and principles from a variety of modalities to include Christian based. My counseling is geared toward treating the whole person from a biopsychosocial spiritual standpoint. I view counseling as a calling and not as a career and that it is a collaborative effort in which I learn and grow as a result of every interaction. My clients describe me as a “good listener” and as someone who “makes me think”.
Some of the experiences that have contributed to my professional identity and approach to mental health treatment are my formal education at Pensacola Christian College where I received a BA in Pastoral Ministry and Liberty University where I received a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked as a therapist under regulatory agencies for 6 years and have worked in Christian Ministry since my ministerial ordination in 2003. Demographics I have served have included inpatient and outpatient care, private practice, substance abuse issues, psychotic spectrum disorders, gender identity issues, personality disorders, sex addiction, family and relationship issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Spirituality, and men’s issues. My experiences as a combat military veteran, teacher, father, husband, and a person who has experienced my own traumas and failures have contributed to my professional development.
I look forward to getting to know you!
