Hi, I’m Tami, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I understand how overwhelming life can feel at times, how easy it is to get stuck in painful patterns, and how hard it can be to take that first step toward change. You don’t have to do it alone! I’m deeply passionate about helping people find their way through difficult seasons of life and feel less alone in their struggles. I support individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, low self-esteem, mood challenges, relationship conflicts, parenting stress and guilt, trauma, eating disorders, and addiction, while helping them reconnect with a sense of balance within themselves. My hope is to create a space where healing feels possible, growth feels supported, and a more grounded, fulfilling life begins to take shape. To me, therapy is about more than just talking—it’s about creating a safe, supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you feel more empowered in your life. I use a flexible, personalized approach that draws from CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based Therapy, and other evidence-based strategies—always meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels right for you. I believe healing from the past is often an essential step toward creating a brighter and more meaningful future. My goal is to walk alongside you as you build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create balance emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually. If you’re ready to begin your healing journey—or even just considering that first step—I would be honored to support you in moving forward, overcoming challenges, and creating the life you deserve.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and exploring what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and goals so we can begin creating a plan that feels right for you. This is a safe, judgment-free space where you are welcome to share at your own pace.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What makes my approach unique is the balance I bring between clinical experience and heart-centered connection. I show up not only as a therapist, but as a human being who values growth, self-awareness, spirituality, and the ongoing journey of healing. I believe in honoring each person’s story with compassion while gently guiding them toward insight, balance, and inner strength. Clients often share that they feel deeply seen, supported, and uplifted in our work together, as we focus on healing the whole person—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to explore their challenges with openness and a willingness to grow, yet may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the next steps. They may be navigating anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, or patterns that keep them from feeling balanced and fulfilled. Together, we work in a supportive, heart-centered way to build insight, resilience, and practical strategies that help them create meaningful, lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and maladaptive behaviors. I support clients in developing healthier thinking styles and coping strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. I also incorporate structured interventions such as thought records, behavioral experiments, and cognitive restructuring to promote lasting emotional and behavioral change.
Eclectic
I use an eclectic approach to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, and Person-Centered Therapy. This flexible method allows me to integrate tools and techniques that best support my clients’ goals, preferences, and presenting issues throughout the therapeutic process.
Supportive
I use supportive therapy to provide a compassionate, safe space where clients feel heard, validated, and understood. Through this approach, I help clients connect with their inner strengths, process challenges, and gain the confidence and clarity needed to create meaningful change.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on the qualities, skills, and resources they already possess. By focusing on what is working well in their lives, I support them in creating practical strategies and lasting change while fostering confidence, resilience, and hope.

It was the first appointment so she was just really getting to know me. She did recommend that I look into rehab an I did but they told me to tell her to double check before recommending because they don’t do 30 day treatment for weed especially if your have a marijuana card but I could do outpatient an she had said that too. I liked her suggestion on things I can do for free with my kids. I hope that I’m not gonna be to much to handle because I got a lot going on

I just had my first session with Tami and I can already tell she is going to be a great fit! She’s very warm and friendly, and instantly made me feel comfortable. She gives you plenty of time to talk and asks you questions to further the conversation. I can’t wait for my next session with Tami!
