Hi, I’m Crystal Rollefson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. Since moving from Hawaii in late 2021, I’ve been working with a small private practice while also beginning to grow my own practice. I hold a Certificate in Play Therapy from Capella University and am currently pursuing credentials to become a Registered Play Therapist in the state of Florida. My professional journey began in substance abuse counseling, where I spent two years supporting adults with addictions, criminal justice involvement, and co-occurring mental health conditions. My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic, combining client-centered care, cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), mindfulness, and play therapy principles. I believe in empowering individuals by helping them recognize and build upon their strengths—even when those strengths feel hard to find. Together, we can uncover them. I’m also a strong advocate for self-care and self-love as essential components of mental and physical well-being. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me practicing yoga, enjoying CrossFit, lifting at the gym, camping, or paddleboarding.
