Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you've spent a long time carrying things on your own. You may be feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, stuck in self-criticism, or wondering why the same patterns keep showing up in your life. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and practical. We'll work together to better understand your experiences while also building skills you can use in your everyday life. Although we'll explore difficult topics, therapy doesn't have to feel heavy all the time. I believe humor, curiosity, and genuine connection can be important parts of healing. I tailor therapy to each person's unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, and I often incorporate creative approaches such as writing, storytelling, art, or reflective exercises when they resonate with my clients. I also integrate inner child and parts-informed work, along with body awareness practices, to help clients better understand themselves and reconnect with their strengths. I have extensive experience supporting trauma survivors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and chronic stress. I also have a special interest in helping people heal from the effects of weight stigma, body shame, and experiences of being judged or misunderstood because of their bodies. As a PhD student, I am passionate about advancing research in weight stigma and bringing that knowledge into compassionate, affirming clinical care.

“Between stimulus and response, there is a space; within that space lies your power and freedom…” Here’s the thing; we’re all basically the same- but then again, not. Our reactions (to unexpected events, comments, public scrutiny) can vary, depending on our nature, personality, character and whether or not we’ve had breakfast. While the last part was just to get your attention, I’m committed to understanding what makes YOU “tick” and why you respond the way you do. That, in and of itself may be fascinating, but my true intention is to get you back on track, help you find your footing and become laser-focused & confident, regardless of your circumstances! A bit about me: A native New Yorker, I acquired my MSW following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CCNY. Essentially, I view myself as a scientist and life coach, a motivator who recognizes that we’re ALL unique individuals, but do share many of the same thoughts & feelings. Most of us have struggled with anxiety, uncertainty and self-doubt; yet we’ve also experienced feeling confident, grounded and secure at one time or another. Then something happened and our self-esteem took a hit; there were setbacks. Bear in mind, our backgrounds and early childhood experiences, our genetic predispositions all serve to shape our personalities and the essence of our being. To that end, as a clinician, I strive to guide individuals to examine their beliefs- in order to gain insight into their potentially self-destructive behavior- or whatever is getting in the way of their progress. Together, we’ll explore what’s influenced your self-concept and self-esteem. The saying that always resonated with me, “If you think you can, or you think you can’t- you’re right…” Life can feel overwhelming & insurmountable, but with the right tools, the sky’s the limit- whatever you’re facing!

Hello, and welcome! I’m Ana Blondet, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, meeting you where you are while helping you build the tools and confidence to move forward. In addition to providing therapy, I have spent more than a decade working as a school social worker, supporting elementary-aged children, many of whom receive special education services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This experience has given me a deep understanding of child development, behavioral challenges, family collaboration, and advocating for students’ social and emotional success. I am also a licensed DDS caregiver with over eight years of experience providing residential support to an individual with intellectual disabilities. In addition, I have several years of experience working in residential settings serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These experiences have strengthened my skills in providing person-centered care, promoting independence, supporting daily living needs, and advocating for the unique needs of each individual. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation, and family concerns. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally responsive and welcoming environment for every client. For those who desire it, I also offer the option to incorporate Christian faith into the therapeutic process while providing respectful, evidence-based care for individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs. I’ve always been interested in understanding people — how life experiences, relationships, stress, and challenges shape the way we cope and move through the world. Over time, I realized I found a lot of meaning in helping people work through obstacles, gain perspective, and feel less stuck in the things weighing them down. I know it can be hard to ask for support, especially when you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own. I want clients to feel comfortable being honest about what they’re facing while also working together to find practical, concrete solutions that help life feel more manageable and move them toward meaningful, lasting change. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical focus from Capella University. Over the past 14 years, I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families across in-home, outpatient, and telehealth settings. I’ve supported people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives, including severe anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, crisis situations, and overwhelming life stress. Working in a variety of settings and with diverse client needs has taught me how to meet people where they are, adapt to challenging situations, and help clients find realistic ways to move forward. I see therapy as a place to be real about what’s not working and figure out what needs to change. Some clients come in feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected in relationships, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or frustrated by patterns they can’t seem to break. My role is to help people make sense of what they’re experiencing, develop practical tools that actually fit their lives, and regain a stronger sense of control, stability, and confidence moving forward.

I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. " "The wound is where the light enters." - Jeladdin Rumi "A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once." Martin Luther King Jr. "Wouldn't take nothin' for my journey now." - Maya Angelou "The past is gone, and there is left only a blessing." - Kahlil Gibran "Be true to yourself, and you will be false to no one else." - William Shakespeare "How very lucky are we, for just a moment to be, part of life's eternal rhyme." Charlotte's Web, movie "Not all who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien

Hi, I'm Kara thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. As a therapist who has been in the field for almost a decade and a person who has also gone to therapy themselves, I know how scary it can be to take that first step. At the same time think of all you could gain better relationships, more life satisfaction, healthy boundaries, good communication skills, resiliency etc. In my 12 years of practice as a therapist, I've seen that many people struggle to be kind to themselves. A key part of my work is helping clients change their inner voice from critical and confusing to logical and empathetic. I currently work with all ages and am inclusive, trauma informed, and collaborative. I feel that as the client you are the expert of yourself and focus on teaching you to be your own therapist.

I’m a warm, insight-oriented therapist who offers a steady, compassionate space for adults navigating grief, relational wounds, and the impact of growing up around emotional chaos or inconsistency. My approach is grounded in deep listening and curiosity—I help clients slow down and make sense of their inner experience, uncovering patterns that may have once been protective but now feel limiting. Together, we create room for new ways of relating—to yourself, to others, and to your story. Healing, in my work, begins with being deeply seen and understood.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) & Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), who is a passionate advocate for emotional wellness and mental health awareness. Raised in the Caribbean, where stigma around therapy often silenced emotional struggles, inspired my commitment to help others heal and grow without shame or fear. I hold a BA in Forensic Psychology and MA in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College, and have years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, and relational conflict. I support clients in understanding that therapy is a collaborative process done at their own pace to achieve the life change or improvement that they desire.

Hi! I'm Angelica. If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed and unsure about the future, let's talk. I help women and men learn how to be comfortable in their own skin so that anxiety does not dictate their success. Together, we can begin to identify the causes of your anxiety and work on overcoming them. If you are dealing with relationship issues, work issues, major life changes or feelings that nothing will ever change or improve, I'd like to help you to start feeling better. While meeting with me, you will have a non judgmental space to talk about what you are thinking and feeling. I approach the therapy process with empathy, cognitive behavioral techniques and solutions. I look forward to getting to know you!
