I am committed to helping my clients overcome addiction, depression, anxiety, and other life stressors that affect people at different times in their lives. I believes in a warm, open, encouraging relationship. I have many years of experiences in working with children, adolescents, and adults who suffer with mental illness, substance abuse, chronic illness, trauma, loss and other stressors. I have worked in a substance use residential setting and have worked with clients who have a goal of sobriety in a private practice setting. I have worked with patients in a hospital setting who are inpatient medically. I have worked in an outpatient medical setting with patients with a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. I work with patients struggling with social anxiety, a history of trauma, depression, loss, and anxiety. I also have worked with teens and adults with a diagnosis of Autism in a group and one on one set
In sessions we will make sure to set goals and to work on those goals together. We will talk about what to work on and look at between sessions.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other evidenced based practices
I am best at meeting people where they are at. Some people work best with homework, some people work best with role playing. We will work together to find what works best for you, so that progress can be made.
