New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflicts, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, integrating cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, and mindfulness techniques. I believe you are the expert of your own story and that you already possess many strengths to help you overcome life’s challenges. Taking the first step to begin therapy takes courage, and I’m proud of you for getting started. Together, we’ll work toward greater peace, purpose, and connection.
In our first session, we’ll complete a brief intake to gather background information and better understand your story, concerns, and goals. This helps us identify what brings you to therapy and how you’d like things to be different. Together, we’ll use these insights to develop clear therapy goals and create a plan to help you reach them. I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to explore patterns, strengthen self-awareness, and find practical tools for healing and growth. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are creating a safe, nonjudgmental space and helping clients feel genuinely understood. I combine compassion with evidence-based techniques to help clients move from surviving to thriving.
Everyone has their own story, and you deserve care that’s tailored just for you. Once we decide to work together, we’ll be working side by side on your therapy journey. I value open and honest communication, and I want you to always feel heard and respected. I’ll be right there to listen, encourage, and gently challenge you when needed, supporting you every step of the way.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy involves using it to help clients identify how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. I use CBT techniques to challenge negative thought patterns and replace them with more balanced ones. I also include behavioral strategies such as relaxation, activity planning, and coping skills practice. CBT helps clients build self-awareness and gain tools they can use outside of therapy, which supports long-term progress
