New to Grow
With eight years of clinical experience, I have provided services to individuals across much of the lifespan, ranging in age from 6 to 70 years old. My professional experience includes working with individuals, families, and groups in both outpatient and in-home settings. I have supported people involved in the foster care system, individuals experiencing substance use challenges, and children and adolescents facing difficulties at school and home. I offer counseling services in both English and Spanish, allowing me to effectively serve diverse populations and support people in their preferred language. I am passionate about therapy and believe in creating a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative environment where people feel empowered to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
Our first session will focus on getting to know one another, exploring your reasons for seeking therapy, and identifying your goals for treatment. It is also an opportunity to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences and determining whether I am the right fit for your therapeutic journey.
I believe that therapy should be tailored to match each individual's unique needs. At times, this may mean providing a compassionate space where you feel heard, supported, and understood; at other times, it may involve offering challenges that encourage growth and help you move toward your goals when you feel ready. I am committed to providing culturally responsive and inclusive care, honoring the unique backgrounds, identities, values, and lived experiences that shape each person's perspective and journey. I recognize that you are the expert on your own life and experiences, and I view my role as a guide and collaborative partner in your journey. Through life’s challenges and successes, I am committed to showing up consistently, providing support, encouragement, and accountability every step of the way.
I am committed to working with individuals who are ready to begin or continue their therapeutic journey and are seeking a collaborative partnership to achieve their personal and clinical goals. Whether you have a clear sense of direction or are currently feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the next steps, therapy can provide a supportive space for growth and self-discovery. Together, we will work to identify your strengths, address challenges, and develop meaningful strategies that support lasting change and overall well-being.
