LCSW, 12 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello, my name is Brendette, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I bring 12 years of experience as a therapist dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. My therapeutic approach is goal-oriented and person-centered, focusing on helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Using evidence-based techniques, I provide a supportive space where you can feel safe to express yourself and work toward your goals. In my practice, I strive to cultivate an environment of empathy, compassion, and inclusiveness. I understand that each person's journey is unique, and I am here to provide understanding and encouragement. I invite you to my practice, where you will be seen, heard, and valued. Let’s embark on this journey together and take the first step toward a more fulfilling life.
In our initial session together, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment where we can start building a therapeutic alliance. This is essential for your journey, as it fosters trust and collaboration. We’ll take the time to talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have. I’ll gently ask questions about your background, mental health history, and current challenges to truly understand your unique needs. This first session is also an opportunity for us to create a personalized plan just for you, which we’ll explore together in our follow-up sessions. I encourage you to ask questions. Your well-being is important to me, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to create a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, and valued.
My ideal person to work with is someone who is ready to explore their strengths and take meaningful steps toward growth. I am particularly equipped to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. This person is motivated to develop healthier coping skills, improve their emotional regulation, and build self-esteem within a collaborative environment.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in my practice and integrate additional treatment methods as necessary. Throughout our sessions, we will examine how your thoughts impact your emotional experiences and develop strategies to help you stay grounded.
