I am Dr. Dammy Bamisile, LCSW. I have over 20 years of clinical experience in working with individuals, families and couples using trauma informed CBT and other evidence based therapies in meeting clients where they are. I use a holistic approach that integrates the customization of your choice like values, culture and belief with science and psychology. I work with clients who have challenges on issues like anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, sleeping problems, and problematic relationships. I specialized in working with young adults and other adults. Our session will center on the issue and how we can process a user-friendly person-centered approach for the empowered you!.
First session allows you to narrate and share your story, your goal and the reasons for the session. Your expectations and therapy expectations will also be discussed. In this session, we will agree at the time you prefer for appointments.
My treatment approaches will be determined by the presenting problem. However, some of the following evidence-based treatment modalities will be used. They are CBT, CPT,DBT, Mindfulness Based (MBCT), Family/Marital, Solution Focused, Trauma Focused, Christian Counseling, Sleep Hygiene Therapy and Person Centered Therapy.
Areas of Treatments are Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Couples Relationship Problems, PTSD/TraumaGrief, Stress, Sleep problems, Overthinking, Postpartum Depression, Domestic Violence and job related problems.
