New to Grow
Hello, and welcome! I’m Ana Blondet, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, meeting you where you are while helping you build the tools and confidence to move forward. In addition to providing therapy, I have spent more than a decade working as a school social worker, supporting elementary-aged children, many of whom receive special education services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This experience has given me a deep understanding of child development, behavioral challenges, family collaboration, and advocating for students’ social and emotional success. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation, and family concerns. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally responsive and welcoming environment for every client. For those who desire it, I also offer the option to incorporate Christian faith into the therapeutic process while providing respectful, evidence-based care for individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs. My goal is simple: to help you heal, grow, and thrive, one step at a time.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll review any intake forms and questionnaires you’ve completed, discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current concerns, and talk about your goals for treatment. We’ll also take a few minutes to review important practice information, including confidentiality, attendance expectations, cancellation and no-show policies, and answer any questions you may have. Most importantly, this is your time to share your story at your own pace. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we begin your journey toward healing and growth together.
I believe therapy is most effective when it combines compassion with honesty. I’ll always provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood, but I also believe in gently challenging unhelpful patterns, encouraging accountability, and helping you recognize strengths you may not see in yourself. My goal is not simply to listen, but to help you create meaningful, lasting change. My professional experience spans more than 13 years working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in schools, community settings, and private practice. Working closely with children receiving special education services and collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals has given me a well-rounded perspective on the many factors that influence emotional well-being. As someone who values faith, family, resilience, and lifelong growth, I understand that life’s challenges can shape us, but they don’t have to define us. I meet each client with authenticity, empathy, and respect, tailoring therapy to their unique needs and empowering them to heal, grow, and thrive.
My ideal clients are children (8+), adolescents, and adults who are ready to better understand themselves, overcome life’s challenges, and create meaningful change. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, or difficulties at school, work, or home. I also enjoy supporting parents as they navigate their child’s emotional and behavioral needs, particularly families of children receiving special education services. Whether you’re seeking practical coping strategies, personal growth, or a safe space to process life’s experiences, I strive to provide compassionate, individualized care that meets you where you are and helps you move toward healing and lasting change.
I help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life's challenges.
For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate biblical principles, prayer, and Christian values into therapy while using evidence-based clinical approaches. My goal is to help clients strengthen both their emotional well-being and their faith, while always respecting each person's comfort level and beliefs.
Every client is unique, so I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs by combining evidence-based techniques that best support your goals, strengths, and personal experiences.
I help clients explore their own motivations for change, overcome barriers, and build confidence in taking meaningful steps toward the life they want.
I teach practical mindfulness and grounding techniques to help clients manage stress, regulate emotions, reduce anxiety, and stay present during difficult moments.
