I have experience working with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life stressors, social difficulties, and boundary setting. I also have experience providing therapy to individuals navigating behavioral health and substance use disorders. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting change. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals in improving their daily functioning, developing healthier relationships, building effective coping skills, and restoring hope for the future.
I believe that therapy is a powerful tool for making positive changes. Together, we will identify your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.
If you are struggling or simply looking for support during a difficult time, I encourage you to reach out. Taking the first step toward change takes courage and commitment, and I am here to provide support, guidance, and encouragement along the way.
You have desires stirring within you—but fear, self-doubt, or past pain may be keeping you from fully stepping into them. I help clients move through those internal blocks with both practical therapeutic tools and compassionate support. Together, we’ll explore the emotional patterns and fears that hold you back, so you can begin to live with more clarity, freedom, and purpose. Whether you're navigating grief, transition, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a safe, grounded space for you to reconnect to your inner self and walk forward with more confidence and ease. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about expanding into who you are. I’m here when you’re ready to begin.

Therapy for PTSD, Complex Trauma, and Anxiety
If you’re living with PTSD, complex trauma, childhood trauma, or anxiety, understanding your experiences is important, but insight alone doesn’t always create lasting change. Therapy can help you process what you’ve been through so it has less impact on how you feel, relate to others, and move through daily life.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in Connecticut and Colorado. I specialize in PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), childhood trauma, attachment wounds, and anxiety, and I work with adults who want support feeling safer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves and their lives.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma informed. I’m certified in EMDR and trained in Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapy. These approaches allow us to work with the deeper patterns and experiences underlying what you’re struggling with, rather than simply managing symptoms.
I also work especially well with highly sensitive people (HSPs), deep feelers, and people who may have spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood or emotionally overwhelmed.
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting what happened or becoming someone different. It means having more freedom from the ways trauma continues to affect you.
If you’re ready to work through the past and feel more like yourself again, I’d be glad to help you explore whether therapy is a good fit.
I am a licensed psychotherapist in the States of New York and Connecticut and I hold an out-of-state telehealth provider registration in the State of Florida. With more than 20 years of experience, the foundation of my practice is a genuine commitment to understanding you as a whole person. I offer a warm, affirming space where diverse identities and experiences are not just welcomed, but honored. I work with individuals and couples facing trauma, anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, relationship challenges, and more. My style is compassionate, attuned, and collaborative. I don’t just help you cope, I help you grow into a deeper, kinder relationship with yourself that transforms every area of your life. Life is a journey of growth, and I’ll support you to move through trauma, anxiety, depression, self-criticism, and fear of loss toward a life that feels rich, free, and truly your own. If you’ve been carrying emotional pain, stress, or relationship struggles on your own, I want you to know that reaching out takes courage, and that you don’t have to figure it out alone. When you’re ready, I’d be glad to walk alongside you.
COUPLES SERVICES
Before scheduling an initial session, I have a brief screening process for all couples interested in therapy. This helps me ensure that my approach is the right fit for your needs, that we can work together safely and effectively. The screening typically involves a short phone or video call (about 15–20 minutes) where I can learn about your needs, and you can ask any questions that you may have about my practice. Please contact me via Psychology Today to schedule a screening.

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care. I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the lasting effects of difficult life experiences.
My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to identify your goals, explore the challenges you're facing, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.
For clients who desire it, I also integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into therapy in a way that honors your beliefs and supports your personal goals.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support through a difficult season, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling heard, encouraged, and equipped with the tools and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.
I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. "

I’m Osvaldo Santiago, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut, with over 10 years of experience supporting adults on their path toward greater clarity, healing, and self-acceptance. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and empowered, especially if you’ve felt overlooked, misunderstood, or disconnected in other parts of your life.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I bring a calm, nonjudgmental presence to the therapy room, and I meet you where you are- whether you’re navigating anxiety, cultural identity stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions, or past trauma.
In sessions, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. These approaches offer structure and flexibility, helping us identify what’s getting in the way and build tools to support your growth and well-being. That said, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model, I stay adaptable and responsive to what you need most in the moment.
Outside of therapy, I value the same things I support my clients in cultivating: meaningful relationships, mindfulness, resilience, and space to breathe. I believe in showing up fully, both as a clinician and as a human being, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever comes next.
