Therapy is about accepting and embracing challenges rather than trying to avoid or escape them. ***While I support many mental health concerns, I do not specialize in trauma focused or acute trauma treatment. Our intake will be very easygoing. We will use the first few sessions to get to know each other with no pressure or judgment. I will always allow you to share only what you're comfortable with and on your timeline.
Along with Figment, LDOG, my counseling style is down-to-earth and collaborative, using humor to help build a connection and ease any anxieties that may arise. While past trauma may come up, we will focus on the here and now, and what will help you live a more productive, fulfilling, and peaceful life.
I work with adult and transgender women in individual therapy. My goal is to create a a supportive, inclusive, and affirming environment where clients feel understood and respected. First therapy session she made me feel welcome. Felt like I was talking to a friend, etc. She made me feel heard, can't judge completely based off one session, but I'm looking forward to our next sessions
