(she/her)
Hi there, I’m Jennifer. Does life feel like a struggle? Overwhelming? Feels like too much? I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 11 years of experience. I’ve worked with children (ages 6-18) and their caregivers, individuals, and couples. I enjoy being a part of the growth of others and being a part of their healing process while providing a safe, non-judgmental space. I integrate different techniques from different treatment modalities to address your needs. My goal is to help you manage life’s adversities while being present to enjoy the here and now. Looking forward to join you on this journey! Currently accepting referrals for adults-individual therapy.
During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relevant background information, your strengths, and what you hope to achieve through the therapeutic process. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can share at your own pace and feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for treatment and develop a plan that feels meaningful and achievable for you. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply know that something needs to change, we can work together to gain clarity, build effective coping strategies, and move toward the life you want to create.
I incorporate techniques from different modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness.
I will meet you where you are in your journey. I will do this with empathy and compassion, non-judgementally.
I am best positioned to support young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, family conflict, self-esteem concerns, and stress related to work, school, or parenting. I work especially well with individuals who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. Whether you’re looking to better manage symptoms, improve relationships, build healthier coping skills, increase self-confidence, or gain a deeper understanding of yourself, I provide a supportive space where you can feel heard and empowered. Together, we will identify patterns that may be holding you back and develop practical strategies to help you create meaningful and lasting change.
