I am a compassionate, caring and empowering Clinician who understands how life's journey can sometimes become overwhelming, to the point that you just want to quit. My goal is to help one navigate through life's challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, housing mental health or any other biopsychosocial challenges you may be experiencing. I welcome open conversation and listen to hear you, understand your needs and learn how we can partner to help you achieve your goals.
During you first session with me you can expect a welcoming, supportive and judgment -free space where we begin getting to know one another and building a therapeutic connection. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, what is currently happening in your life, any challenges, stressors or symptoms you may be experiencing, and how these concerns may be affecting your daily functioning, relationships, or overall well-being. We will also review important practice policies, including confidentiality, telehealth expectations, scheduling, cancellations, communication boundaries, and any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. A key part of our first session will focus on identifying your goals for treatment, what you hope to gain from therapy, what healing or progress looks like for you, and how I can best support you on your wellness journey. This initial visit will be a collaborative conversation designed to help you feel comfortable, heard and empowered as we begin creating a personalized path forward, together.
I believe that I am easily able to make a genuine connection with my clients. I try not to be too overbearing with them and allow them to guide the therapeutic alliance.
My dream client is any adult experiencing life transitions who may be having difficulty accepting and navigating systems. I maintain a deep understanding of the multifaceted nature of these challenges that can be faced by many, and I remain committed to fostering resilience and hope in my clients, guiding them on their path to self-discovery, emotional healing, and personal empowerment.
