I am a 54 year old bi-culutral father of two adolescents in the year 2025. With all of the social pressures that our families have been subject to, it's never been more important to be close and listen to each other. Social disconnect is the new pandemic and the challenges that interefere with social connection are the same ones driving our sense of faulty connection and confusion with pleasure and happiness.

I know what it’s like to face adversity, and I understand how overwhelming grief and loss can feel. Whether you're coping with the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or another significant life change, you're not meant to go through it alone. Grief can make it hard to see a way forward, but healing is possible. With support and guidance, you can begin to process your pain, reconnect with yourself, and rediscover joy and meaning in your life. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping many individuals navigate the complex emotions of grief. And I truly believe that no matter where you are right now, there is hope for a brighter future.

I’m here to support you on your journey toward greater self-awareness and emotional well-being. In our individual sessions, we’ll explore how your past experiences shape your present feelings and behaviors, including any underlying self-doubt or anxiety. Together, we’ll examine the personal, relational, and cultural influences that have shaped your experiences, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your unique story. Using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing, we’ll address the feelings associated with anxiety and self-doubt. I believe that healing involves both understanding our experiences and reconnecting with the wisdom of the body. Through exploring the stories you hold about yourself, increasing awareness of physical and emotional responses, and developing practical tools for coping, we can create new pathways toward growth and resilience. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can express yourself freely, explore new perspectives, reconnect with your values, celebrate your strengths, and begin to feel more grounded, connected, and open to life’s possibilities.

Hello! I’m Sandra V. Chávez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Psychological Assistant with the California Board of Psychology. I’m passionate about helping individuals grow both personally and emotionally through client-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies. As a first-generation Latina, I learned ambition, tenacity, and determination from my parents. My educational journey includes dual bachelor’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I’m currently on the path to becoming a licensed psychologist. Before entering the mental health field, I worked as a nurse and briefly attended medical school in Southern California. That experience deepened my interest in understanding the brain, human development, and the impact of environmental factors on behavior. I specialize in supporting clients through mood disorders, life transitions, and self-empowerment challenges. My strengths lie in helping individuals develop emotional intelligence, identify, and understand their emotions. I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs, which is why I use an integrative, eclectic approach that draws from evidence-based methods and holistic practices, including mindfulness and positive psychology. I also enjoy working with individuals who incorporate their faith into their mental health journey. For those open to incorporating their faith as a tool for healing, I create a safe, welcoming space where spirituality and therapy work hand in hand. Above all, I value building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to offer a non-judgmental environment where your thoughts and emotions are respected and where real progress can be made. Together, we’ll explore strategies, assignments, and tools that help you overcome life’s hurdles and achieve lasting personal growth and fulfillment. Let’s begin this journey together!

I'm Lily, a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed therapist supporting mothers, parents and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and the identity shifts that come with both. My practice is fully telehealth, which means you can meet with me from wherever feels safest and most comfortable, your couch, your car during a nap window, wherever works. I just care about you showing up as you are. As a parent, human, 1st generation Latina, and someone who has lived through depression, postpartum struggles, and loss, I'm drawn to supporting others through situations that can be difficult to even put into words. My work is personal. Instead of seeing clients as a number, I hold space for the parts of life that are hard to process, heal, or acknowledge. ¡Hablo Español! Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Roxana, and I’m a first-generation Mexican-American, born and raised in Southern California. I proudly served in the Marine Corps and have been working in mental health since 2012, providing case management to individuals facing homelessness and severe mental illness. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings throughout Riverside County, including Domestic Violence and Forensic Mental Health, where I worked closely with men in the Criminal Justice System. During my practicum, I provided individual counseling to military members, veterans, and first responders, helping them address relationship conflicts, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as Gottman Relationship Method (Level 1). However, I believe that effective therapy begins with a genuine, person-to-person connection—one that builds trust, fosters open communication, and creates a sense of safety and mutual respect. My goal is to create a space where clients feel truly seen and valued, and I occasionally use humor to support meaningful therapeutic work that fosters long-lasting growth and change. I was born in the US, but I was raised in Mexico. I lived in Tijuana for 10 years when my parents decided to move us across the border to Chula Vista, California. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I experienced a duality of cultures. I was often judged for either being “not Mexican enough” OR “not American enough.” I also faced enormous pressure to be successful – to justify my parents’ having left their beloved country so my sibling and I could have a better life. This is one of many reasons I decided to follow this path: to help those who feel alone in their journey. That’s how I felt when acculturating to this country. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at San Diego State University (SDSU). I was going to go directly into the workforce and eventually go back for my master’s, but an awesome professor challenged me to apply right away so I wouldn’t lose momentum. So, that’s what I did. I ended up getting my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Southern California. It took some time and courage to finish all my licensing requirements, but it was worth it! I’ve been licensed as a clinical social worker in California since 2019. I am certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
