Hello, I am Edgar! I understand we all go through struggles at some point in our lives. For some of us, this may seem more frequent than others. I am a firm believer that you have everything that you need to get your life back on track, reach the goals that you want or become who you want to be. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I approach therapy in a non-structured way, which allows me to meet you where you are. I tend to use multiple therapeutic approaches such as solution focus, person-centered, humanistic and CBT. I hope to be a part of your journey on this road that we call life.
You will be met by an honest and sincere therapist that cares about you and wants to help you succeed. Through sessions, you will re-learn or reconnect with your strengths and tools that you have to solve what brings you to therapy.
I tend to use multiple therapeutic approaches such as solution focus, person-centered, humanistic, narrative therapy and CBT. I also utilize mindfulness, to help you be in synchrony with yourself.
I have ample experience working with depression and anxiety. I understand that some situations in life can feel overwhelming. Whether that is giving a speech for your class, finding the energy to get up from bed or stopping those negative thoughts, etc. I am not here to tell you, that you can do it. I am here to help you believe in yourself that you can do it. I am here to help you be independent and not need anything else (therapy) in the future but yourself to be able to live life to its fullest.
