Hi, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California for 20 years and I hold a doctorate degree in the Philosophy of Counseling. I am in my second marriage for 30 years now, after my 24-year first marriage failed. We have seven children between the two of us, 31 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. I have had good success counseling couples who have given up on their relationship, especially those who have experienced infidelity. I don't counsel children until they are 18. I enjoy helping people understand how they became the way they are and therefore find ways to leave dysfunction behind.

I’m a warm, direct, and down-to-earth therapist who believes therapy should feel like a genuine human relationship rather than a cold or overly clinical experience. My approach is rooted in feminist and existential therapy, which means we’ll look not only at what you’re experiencing internally, but also at how relationships, family patterns, societal expectations, identity, and your lived experiences have shaped you. I value humor, curiosity, honesty, and creating a space where you don’t have to edit yourself. My goal isn’t to tell you how to live your life, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and build a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

Are you striving to find satisfaction with your work, life or relationships? Do you want to focus on fixing immediate problems rather than unraveling past hurts? Do you want to build a strong foundation for your current or future relationship? Have you grown tired of being treated like a problem and not a person? I primarily take a narrative approach to counseling. Narrative therapy begins with the premise that you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. The way we see ourselves can be defined by the language that we use. I see my role as a co-author, helping you develop an alternate personal history so that you may move forward with courage and confidence.

Over human history, people have mostly lived in close-knit communities. This has eroded with the advances in transportation and technology. Most people have lost much of the social support our forebearers enjoyed. Mental Health Professionals have taken on this role in their respective communities and are an excellent resource for you to realize your strengths and improve your well-being. When your car breaks down you take it to a mechanic. When your tooth hurts you see a dentist. When your mental health can use a “tune-up,” see a Mental Health Professional!

Hello, I am Kathleen. Do you feel overwhelmed, burnt out or pulled in a million different directions? Are you struggling with your relationships, work or health? Is it difficult for you to find time for yourself, let alone, be kind to yourself? Do you feel "stuck" and unable to move forward? Many of us are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety and social isolation, so it is important to make caring for yourself a priority. Therapy can help you feel more connected, balanced and peaceful. Together, we can help identify what is not working and regain a sense of balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your body, mind and spirit. We will develop a "toolbox" of coping skills and create new insights and awarenesses to help you become a happier and healthier version of yourself. Seeking therapy can feel threatening but it's one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and by doing so also give to others. In our sessions, I will meet you with kindness, compassion, humor and evidence-based modalities, so you can overcome obstacles and habits that may be holding you back. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and empathic environment in which to work through current issues, conflicting relationships and/or past pain. Hello, my name is David Fallon and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been licensed for about 20 years. I've worked with all kinds of individuals. I started by working with kids with behavior issues. Mostly I have worked with serious mental illness on the streets serving unhoused individuals. And I have worked with people seeking help in a one on one therapy situation. The first session will be for us to get to know each other and see if this is a good fit. I will be asking a lot of questions. Feel free to ask me any questions that come up as well. I will tell you a little bit about how I work. In the early stages, I basically follow your lead. You tell me what you want to work on, and I ask questions to understand the problem. Together we figure out ways of dealing with these problems. Sometimes it takes more than one or two or even a dozen tries to find the right things that work for you. This process is a journey, and I am here to help guide you through it. I can make recommendations, but it is up to you what you want to do and what works for you. Sometimes difficult thoughts are feelings will come up. Do not be afraid to express them when they do as the more genuine and honest you are, the more I will understand what you are dealing with. That being said, always take things at your own pace. Never feel rushed or forced to say anything you are not ready to say.

Hi there, I'm Denise. Do you feel anxious, worried, or depressed and overwhelmed with your life? Are you struggling to feel happy? Do you feel past trauma is affecting your ability to heal? Is it hard to be kind to yourself or to tell yourself that you are doing all that you can? Together, we can build a safe place so that we can find what's not working for you and get you back to a place where your mind, body, and spirit feel at ease. We'll use a mindfulness approach and identify those negative thoughts and come up with a balanced adaptive thought that can help you feel better. I integrate mindfulness and an Eye Movement Desensitization Approach (EMDR), along with Cognitive Behavioral Theory and several other approaches to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. All of this comes from a strength based, trauma informed, culturally informed perspective where we will identify your strengths and your plan to help yourself heal. I'm here to help and understand that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming and scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life. “Crying does not indicate that you are weak. I am a psychodynamically oriented therapist who integrates attachment-based, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based approaches, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in understanding themselves more deeply and creating meaningful change. I am, also, always working on and open to learning new therapies to best help my clients! My work is grounded in the belief that many emotional struggles—such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties—are connected to early relational experiences and the patterns we develop to cope, protect ourselves, and connect with others. In therapy, I help clients explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, while also building practical tools to manage distress in the present. I offer a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, reflect, and make sense of your emotional world. I also pay close attention to what unfolds in the therapeutic relationship, as it can provide important insight and opportunities for healing and growth. Depending on your needs, our work may include exploring past experiences, identifying emotional and relational patterns, strengthening awareness of thoughts and feelings, and learning skills to support regulation and coping. My goal is to help you develop greater clarity, emotional balance, and more secure and fulfilling relationships—with yourself and others. Therapy with me is a space for both insight and change. Together, we work toward helping you feel more grounded, connected, and able to move through life with greater confidence and ease.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should be a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. My approach is warm, practical, and solution-focused. Rather than focusing solely on what's going wrong, we'll also identify what is already working, and build on those successes. Together, we'll develop realistic goals and practical strategies to help you navigate challenges, improve your well-being and move toward the life you want. I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself, explore what matters most to you, and leave sessions feeling supported and equipped with tools you can use in your everyday life.

I'm a first-gen Latina here to support you and give you space to recharge. I've worked with clients struggling with anxiety and depression, gently guiding them towards clarity. I enjoy working with young adults and older adults. Together, we will build skills to manage racing thoughts, reduce worry, and set healthy boundaries. My style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I want you to feel comfortable opening up while also feeling guided towards the changes you're hoping to make. I focus on listening deeply, making complex feelings easier to understand, and working together in a way that feels clear and approachable. I help clients reach their goals by focusing on what feels most important to them and making the process feel less overwhelming. We'll take things one step at a time, celebrate progress along the way, make changes as needed, and build tools that feel doable.
