My dream client is a high-functioning woman who appears to be managing it all—but inside, she’s carrying the weight of anxiety, pressure, and deep emotional overwhelm. She might be navigating a major life transition like divorce, a career pivot, role change ,motherhood, fertility challenges, menopause or beginning or ending a career.. She may be successful on paper yet struggling to maintain boundaries, meet others’ expectations, or feel truly connected to herself. She could be facing workplace discrimination, identity shifts, or silently asking, “When is it my turn to exhale?” Many women seem to have it all but underneath often the wheels are coming off in are ever changing world where everybody often wants it now. I hope to help you to make your cup runneth over rather than droplets remaining. My goal is to help clients uncover the root of their internal conflicts. I also guide clients in developing a deeper awareness of how trauma could manifest in their bodies. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC), and Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (C-PD). I create a supportive space where clients can process complex trauma, including betrayal trauma, and difficult family-of-origin patterns. I assist individuals recovering from environments shaped by abuse, neglect, abandonment, coercive control, chronic fear, and instability. My work addresses dynamics such as narcissistic family systems, enmeshment, family scapegoating, trauma bonds, antagonistic relationships, and addiction—often rooted in intergenerational trauma and nervous system dysregulation. I support clients in normalizing their emotions, feeling validated, and building greater resilience. I am certified as a DBT Clinician (C-DBT), Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Mood Disorder Professional (CMDP), and ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). I grew up in an environment with people who never discussed mental health; this sparked an early interest in the unspoken challenges I observed. As a dual major in psychology and sociology, my coursework was impactful. The lessons continued in graduate school, where I earned dual master’s degrees in social work and public administration. I interned at a domestic abuse shelter, a residential crisis center, and a community behavioral health facility, and completed specialized trauma-informed care training. My professional experience includes serving as a psychotherapist for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault; a behavioral specialist for children with autism, ADHD, and adjustment challenges; and a supervisor for social workers in county behavioral health. Additionally, I have led interdisciplinary teams of social workers and nurses in complex medical case management, and managed public health teams of case investigators, contact tracers, data analysts, and nurses during infectious disease outbreaks. I am deeply committed to helping clients recover from psychological and emotional harm, recognizing the serious impact these experiences can have on overall well-being.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience providing individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I am deeply committed to helping clients heal emotionally, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of worth and purpose. My passion for this work is rooted in lived experience. Moving to Nigeria at the age of six, losing my father at twelve, and later experiencing the loss of my newborn taught me firsthand about grief, strength, and the importance of compassionate support. These experiences shaped both who I am and how I show up as a therapist—with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each client’s journey. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful personal growth.

Greetings, Life can be confusing, relationships can be stressful, and the present can make you feel anxious or depressed. Sometimes a painful past can surface into the moment, especially when situations are difficult or when you are experiencing major change. During these periods your mood and thoughts can be affected in negative ways. When you are feeling alone, disconnected, or confused, talking things through can make all the difference. I work with anyone struggling to find joy, peace, and fulfillment. I offer a safe, inviting space for you to share thoughts and feelings, to vent, to feel heard, and to reorient to meaning. Please allow me to assist you finding relief and clarity. I will meet you where you are at and welcome you. I address healing on multiple levels of the body-mind connection with a focus on the notion that caring about something or someone along with experiencing meaning can counterbalance the effects of hurt, a disturbing past, or a present stressful situation or transition. I have more than 20 years of experience helping clients navigate major change and transition, gain closure, and create new beginnings. I apply interventions from a mind-body-being perspective and assess current life stressors to distinguish between situational mood and thought disturbances from those enduring and a consequence of previous hurt or trauma.

As a licensed psychotherapist, I have become quite the encourager for reminding clients that mental health is absolutely a vital piece of the puzzle when considering overall well-being. Mental health and stability are so important, and I commend you for reaching out to take care of your mental health care needs. I have been seeing clients since 2018. I graduated from Antioch University, Los Angeles' LGBT Affirmative specialization and my focus is working with gay Latino men, or men who have sex with men. I am, however, open to working with anyone as therapy is not so much theory-based but relationship-based, so having a strong rapport with the client is always of utmost importance. In my personal life, some things I enjoy are traveling, (I want to see as much of the world as I possibly can) writing (I love the fantasy genre), going to the cinema (I love fantasy, mystery & film noir), exercising, and enjoying a nice meal with friends and family.

Congratulations for taking the step to seek counseling. The world we live in is increasingly complex, and we can find ourselves feeling disconnected, stressed, and uncertain about what direction to take. How do we identify solutions for our life’s challenges? How do we let go of stress and sleep at night? As a therapist, I have counseled with individuals and families for over ten years and have found that problem-solving does not have to be stressful, and that we can work through our toughest issues. It is common to believe that people in our relationships, or circumstances in our lives cause us to feel the way we do. But it is our thinking, and the way we relate to people and circumstances, that create our feelings and emotions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps us observe what we are feeling and identify the thoughts that create our feelings. With increased self-awareness, we determine which of our thoughts and perceptions are distorted and unhelpful. As our thinking becomes more realistic, we feel better. There are several therapy methods that are effective in creating positive change, including Narrative Therapy, Goal Setting, Visioning for Personal Growth, and Mindfulness to promote focus and attention. Let’s engage in a conversation to explore your individual needs, and how best to meet them.

DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.

Hi! My name is Gabriela Calvert but you can just call me Gaby. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Masters in Social Work from Cal State Fullerton. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. I’ve been practicing therapy since 2017. I tend to use a more holistic method when it comes to healing. Meaning, I believe in eating healthy, going outside, and treating yourself with kindness before I would even consider recommending you a medication or something. But I’m also very scientific. I often refer back to renowned psychological studies to help you understand yourself and people. Most importantly, I strive for a delicate balance between you leading the way to your healing and me making sure you avoid the potholes.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping people navigate life's complexities. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in the technology industry—an experience that taught me the value of bridging innovative solutions with genuine human connection. That balance is exactly why I practice at Grow. My approach to therapy is built on genuine warmth, compassion, and realness. I believe that true transformation happens when you are finally given the space to drop the mask. My intention is to hold a deeply safe, non-judgmental environment where we can explore the barriers holding you back. Together, we will discover new ways to approach your struggles and unlock a more expansive, authentic way of being.

Hi, I’m Jacob Mooradian. I earned my bachelor’s degree from CSU Fullerton and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, where I focused on mental health and supporting people through life’s challenges. I take a down-to-earth, non-directive approach rooted in CBT, helping you understand the patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so you can eventually become your own therapist. I love bringing in media like movies, TV shows, sports, and current trends to make our conversations relatable, engaging, and grounded in real life. My goal is to validate your experiences, help you gain clarity, and build practical tools you can use every day. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow with confidence and independence.
