Hey! My name is Kiaundra Jackson. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, California. I received my Master's Degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2014 and I have been practicing for 9 years. I transform the lives of those struggling to achieve a more fulfilled, meaningful life emotionally, relationally, physically, spiritually and mentally by using a strong therapeutic approach and reality.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 40 years of experience in the fields of addiction, domestic violence, and medical social work. In my years of experience, I've worked almost exclusively with adults individually and in groups who had difficulties managing their lives due to substance abuse and the concomitant mental health issues of depression and anxiety. I also facilitated groups of male and female substance abusers and perpetrators of domestic violence. In our groups, we focused on CBT lessons and exercises involving role play, modeling, and demonstrations. Clients were given homework to continue their learning and practice on their own between sessions. As a social worker working in public and private agencies, I worked with clients experiencing relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, and day to day life problems. I strongly uphold the Social Workers Code of Ethics that includes, respecting the dignity and worth of a person and exercising compassion and a non-judgmental approach with each individual.
I endorse and utilize multiple therapeutic techniques that include the following: psychodynamic techniques, cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, person-centered techniques, and solution focused techniques. I am sensitive and respectful in using techniques that are agreed upon by the client and suitable to meet each individual's needs.
I look forward to the opportunity to assist you in working through challenges that will help promote and maintain a better, happier and more peaceful life.
My style is loving, compassionate and direct. If you just want someone to listen and not give you suggestions on how to improve your life, then I am not the right therapist for you! I actively participate in each and every session.

Hi there and great job on taking that first step in considering if therapy is right for you. I invite you to come with me on a journey of your own choosing where we will walk together in darkness to find the light you’ve been seeking. Whether it’s life’s little annoying stressors or more complex issues, as a trauma survivor myself, I know firsthand what this is like and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Whether you choose me or another therapist, make the choice to just give it a try. Sometimes all you need is another person to hold the light while you do the work you need to heal.
Exhausted by the way you think about yourself? We are often (if not always) our own worst enemies. Whether this pattern has caused you problems with guilt, shame, anxiety, depression, addiction or you name it - the starting point is generally the same. When we embark on the project of therapy you will be asked to put your painful thoughts and feelings into words. As the process unfolds, the strength and fervor used to overthink and condemn yourself will become accessible to use productively in reaching your goals.

Hello, I am Kathleen.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnt out or pulled in a million different directions? Are you struggling with your relationships, work or health? Is it difficult for you to find time for yourself, let alone, be kind to yourself? Do you feel "stuck" and unable to move forward?
Many of us are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety and social isolation, so it is important to make caring for yourself a priority. Therapy can help you feel more connected, balanced and peaceful.
Together, we can help identify what is not working and regain a sense of balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your body, mind and spirit. We will develop a "toolbox" of coping skills and create new insights and awarenesses to help you become a happier and healthier version of yourself.
Seeking therapy can feel threatening but it's one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and by doing so also give to others.
In our sessions, I will meet you with kindness, compassion, humor and evidence-based modalities, so you can overcome obstacles and habits that may be holding you back. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and empathic environment in which to work through current issues, conflicting relationships and/or past pain.
I look forward to meeting you and working together.

In life, different circumstances can arise that can affect our mental health. Although these circumstances may be inevitable, I would like to be able to be a resource to help you during those times. I work with adolescents and adults. I have had the opportunity to work with diverse populations and diagnoses.
I would like to be a part of your first steps toward getting back to a more fulfilling and happier life.

As a mother of three young adults, including boy-girl twins and a neurodivergent daughter, and with experience as a psychologist, coach, and leader in both tech and education, I bring a wide range of lived experience to my work.
I work with individuals and families at all stages of life, helping them release outdated mindsets and adopt empowering new ones by uncovering the root causes, patterns, and obstacles that hold them back. My approach integrates neuroscience, cognitive psychology, positive psychology, and depth psychology, always focusing on creating meaningful connections that unlock new possibilities.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I hold an unwavering belief in each person’s boundless potential. By focusing on what truly matters, we can always transform challenges into opportunities.
I hold compassion for those who struggle with OCD: The persistent, unwanted, unpleasant thoughts, the sometimes paralyzing anxiety, the compulsive actions, rituals, ruminations, avoidances meant to neutralize the thoughts. I also have an understanding of how often OCD can be misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and the shame and stigma sufferers sometimes feel. Most of my work involves helping people gain control over their OCD and process traumas including interpersonal abuse from friends, family and coworkers (sometimes related to OCD, unfortunately), adverse childhood experiences, and bullying -- past or present. I also work issues related to OCD, such as body dysmorphia, eating disorders that intersect with their OCD, emetophobia, social anxiety, generalized anxiety.
I am currently licensed in Florida (MT 4081) and in California (MFC 103044) and accept telehealth clients through a secure HIPAA compliant video platform. In addition to OCD and anxiety treatment I provide support to people coping with chronic illness such as cancer and autoimmune disease, self esteem issues, grief and loss.
I welcome neurodivergent people -- many of my clients are autistic or have tic disorders or ADHD diagnoses in addition to some of the other issues detailed above.
