(she/her)
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 13 years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, and families. I believe that each person holds the answers within themselves, my role is to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you uncover insight, build on your strengths, and make intentional choices aligned with your values. My approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in mutual respect. I incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, psychodynamic theory, solution-focused strategies, and strength-based principles to meet each client’s unique needs. This means we’ll focus on practical tools to manage day-to-day challenges while also exploring deeper patterns that may be getting in the way of feeling grounded, connected, or confident. I believe you already hold the insight and strength you need, my role is to help you access it, build emotional clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin exploring what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, history, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. My focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported as we begin working together at your pace.
What stands out about my approach is the balance between depth and practicality. I help clients build insight into patterns that no longer serve them while also providing concrete tools to navigate daily challenges. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, I meet clients where they are, honor their lived experiences, and support meaningful, lasting change through culturally responsive and strengths-based care.
I’m best positioned to support individuals who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward, whether due to anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, or past trauma. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection, curious about their patterns, and motivated to make meaningful changes. Whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional balance, or healthier connections, I offer a warm, supportive space to explore what’s getting in the way and help you reconnect with your strengths and values.
I’ve used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) throughout my 13 years as a therapist to help clients better understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In sessions, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns, build practical coping tools, and set goals that support emotional balance and long-term change. I often integrate CBT with mindfulness and strength-based strategies to support each client’s unique needs.
I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help clients become more present, reduce reactivity, and increase emotional awareness. Through grounding techniques, breathwork, and mindful reflection, clients learn to pause, observe their thoughts without judgment, and respond with greater clarity. I often integrate mindfulness with CBT and other approaches to support long-term emotional regulation and well-being.
I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns may be influencing their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By increasing self-awareness and insight, clients can begin to shift long-standing patterns and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I integrate this approach thoughtfully alongside more structured, solution-focused techniques when appropriate.
I use solution-focused and strength-based approaches to help clients identify what’s working, build on their existing strengths, and focus on achievable goals. Rather than staying stuck in problems, we highlight resilience, resourcefulness, and small steps forward that create meaningful change. This approach empowers clients to feel more capable and confident in navigating life’s challenges.
I use Trauma-Focused CBT to support clients in processing difficult or traumatic experiences in a safe, structured way. This approach helps individuals understand how trauma affects thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while building coping skills, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of safety and empowerment. It’s especially helpful for children, adolescents, and families working through past trauma.
