Hello, I am Kathleen.
Do you feel overwhelmed, burnt out or pulled in a million different directions? Are you struggling with your relationships, work or health? Is it difficult for you to find time for yourself, let alone, be kind to yourself? Do you feel "stuck" and unable to move forward?
Many of us are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety and social isolation, so it is important to make caring for yourself a priority. Therapy can help you feel more connected, balanced and peaceful.
Together, we can help identify what is not working and regain a sense of balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your body, mind and spirit. We will develop a "toolbox" of coping skills and create new insights and awarenesses to help you become a happier and healthier version of yourself.
Seeking therapy can feel threatening but it's one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and by doing so also give to others.
In our sessions, I will meet you with kindness, compassion, humor and evidence-based modalities, so you can overcome obstacles and habits that may be holding you back. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe, supportive and empathic environment in which to work through current issues, conflicting relationships and/or past pain.
I look forward to meeting you and working together.
My work centers queer/trans, BIPOC, chronically ill or disabled, and other multiply marginalized clients navigating individual, interpersonal, and intergenerational trauma shaped by systemic violence and survival within inequitable conditions. I am deeply inspired by Black feminist sci-fi writer Octavia E. Butler, whose storytelling shaped my belief that healing is a practice of imagining and building ways of living beyond forces that dominate, dehumanize, and disconnect, such as white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism. My therapeutic approach is relational and depth-oriented, influenced by abolition and disability justice, which reject punitive mindsets, value every body, and attend to how systemic forces shape our internal worlds, relationships and sense of self.
I seek to support this work by gently uncovering coping strategies that were once necessary for survival but may no longer align with who you are becoming or how you want to relate to yourself and others. This approach resonates with people seeking honest self-reflection, emotional accountability, ongoing exploration and deeper self-understanding.
Seeking help takes courage and I am here to provide a safe, welcoming space that encourages healing and positive change. I am a licensed Marrage and Family thearpist that works with individuals dealing with anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, and disruptive behavior/parenting concerns. I am currently licensed in California, and Virginia.
For the past 17 years I have been providing individual counseling to children and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationsip issues. I have also been working with family with parenting issues including supporting a neurodiverse child, working with neurodiversity affirming parenting methods, behavioral concerns, ADHD, eating disorders, and family separation.
I use variety of techiniques depending on your needs, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, and motivational interviewing.
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 10 years of experience specializing in treating anxiety related disorders such as depression, generalized anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, etc. I also work with people experiencing life transitions, grief issues, and women's issues. I have a masters degree in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University and enjoy helping clients reach their life goals.
I have worked in various environments, which have included community mental health and medical settings. Throughout my time as a clinician, I have provided services to individuals, couples and families. My cultural background as well as my personal experiences have given me an awareness and a sensitivity to the vast cultural and social identities that exist. I am committed to leading with warmth, empathy, and a fundamental curiosity that reserves assumptions.
Hello,
I'm Evelyn, an LCSW working with GROW, exclusively with online clients. If you are experiencing sadness, anxiety or frustration with your relationships, it's time to get the support you need. If you are seeking a therapist who creates a safe and supportive space for change, I think we might work well together.
My background encompasses not only experience in clinical social work but also in the fields of nursing and music. I enjoy being inclusive and open in both my personal and professional life.
I look forward to learning about you and working collaboratively to effect positive change in your life.
Reaching out for help can be a very vulnerable experience, but also a great attribute of strength and resilience. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life. Whether it's from childhood neglect, sexual assault, natural disaster, sudden death or other life circumstances. Trauma often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life, and can be challenging and painful to navigate. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle. I work to empower clients to understand and alter unhealthy cycles to strengthen and better their lives.
I am fluent in ASL American Sign Language and have worked with Deaf clients leaving domestic violence in both a shelter and outpatient therapy services. I have spent 2 years in correctional settings working with severely mentally ill patients and supporting their family members navigating having children with mental illness. I have also spent 2 years working with foster youth and foster parents in providing support to their placements, promoting healing and preserving relationships.
Note that online scheduling is limited. Broader scheduling options will be available to regularly scheduling clients. Please also note that I do not provide opinions about disability or fitness to return to work or other activities for clients who are not well-established at the time that the request for such opinion is made.
You may be on the right path, but stumbled, fell, or got lost along the way. Or you may be struggling to find the path. I want to help. In therapy, I aim to create a calm, sturdy, emotionally open, and radically nonjudgmental space where you can be deeply curious about your own experience. A patient, open-ended space where you can take your time. A space where you can slow down, breathe, reflect, be quiet or silent. A space where you can be loud, angry, triggered, upset. A space where you don't have to make sense, but we can try to make sense of things together. A space where we both can be genuinely curious about who you are.

Once the therapeutic space feels safe, only then can various treatment methods truly be effective.

Hello! I’m Brenda De Monge, a passionate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 21 years of experience in community mental health. Helping and supporting youth, parents, & individuals from various cultures & socio-economic backgrounds affected by trauma. When working with trauma, sexual, physical, emotional, and domestic violence, my number one priority is safety & meeting my clients where they are, by supporting them & reaching their goals. I use these treatment methods:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In my practice, I have used CBT to help clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. CBT is effective in understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. We can implement this in therapy to help you live a less anxious and stressful life.
• Trauma-Focused CBT is a short-term therapy designed for children ages 3-18 who have experienced various types of traumas, including physical, emotional, & sexual abuse. When working with young children, the parents/caregivers are key, as they provide ongoing support. By attending sessions, parents will gain a deeper understanding of the root causes of the issues. Over the past 20 years, I have worked with families using this model, & it has been helpful to them.
• Seeking Safety is a treatment approach I have used with clients for more than 15 years. It assists individuals dealing with trauma & addiction by emphasizing safety and coping skills.
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has proven to be a helpful approach in easing obsessive thoughts, reducing intrusive memories, & empowering clients to stay calm while learning ways to handle future challenges and symptoms. Since 2019, I’ve supported children, teens, & adults in managing their post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, & panic disorder through EMDR. In addition, I’ve helped clients with war-related trauma & child sexual assault.
I commend you on taking the first steps to find support! Whether its anxiety, depression, grief or otherwise unknown, I provide a virtual safe space to explore all of the emotions you may be experiencing and help guide you in finding healthier ways to cope. You'll get the opportunity to better understand the root of your emotional experiences while feeling more empowered to help yourself each step of the way.

Hi, I am Albania. I specialize in healing the nervous system through holistic therapy, to help busy women who are struggling with stress, burnout, or trauma, to stop feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from themselves, and experience relief in their bodies and feel more like themselves again.
We've been taught that talking out our traumas, will make us feel better. But it actually keeps us trapped in the same cycle of fears and pain. I was once there too in my own healing. When I involved the body, everything changed.
When you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in survival, disconnected from yourself, you might wonder that there's no way out. That's not true. I share the tools that have helped create safety in my body, feel more balanced, and live a life of authenticity.
Whether you are new to a holistic, body-led approach or want to take healing into your hands, this holistic therapy is your invitation to begin.
I’m Albania, a licensed Bilingual Latina, trauma-informed therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I provide practical tools that you can incorporate in your daily routine to feel calmer and empowered to live a life that is true to you.
In our 1:1 work together you will learn:
-To regulate your nervous system and experience more safety in your body
-How to shift old patterns
-Create healthy boundaries
-Make decisions from your true self, rather than your stressed parts
This is for you if...
-You are ready to do the body-led practices, and less talking.
-No active addictions or severe mental health diagnosis, that is best served in-person with a specialized provider.
-I have an affinity to working with those over 30 years and older, and BIPOC, women, but all are welcomed.

Life moves fast and sometime we can’t keep up. Sometimes we don’t feel like we can talk to others for fear of judgment. Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you withdraw and shut down when you are struggling? Do you have thoughts come at you a mile a minute? Do those same thoughts take off into uncharted territory? It’s not uncommon, and you don’t have to feel that way forever. You might not have the tools to sort out or process these emotions. Maybe you know some skills, and are unsure how to or when to use them.
