Hi, I’m Damaris. I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges by creating a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals. We will work together by meeting you where you are and providing support to promote healing and growth to improve overall well-being. I’ve worked with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and transitions of life.
Our first session will be completing intake documents and further exploring challenges and goals.
My strengths include building strong therapeutic relationships by listening deeply to my clients and creating a safe space and providing an empathic and calm presence.
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to explore emotions and thoughts, improve their well-being, and create meaningful change.
CBT is a way to learn strategies to help change negative thoughts and behaviors to improve overall emotional well being. I’ve used worksheets to help change these patterns as well as role play.
SFT is a positive approach focusing on the solutions and problem solving to the stressors and challenges. I usually have worksheets to plan out the problem solving and treatment goals.
