Hi, I’m Damaris. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges by creating a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, feelings, and goals. We will work together by meeting you where you are and providing support to promote healing and growth to improve overall well-being. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, I specialize in working with young children, teens, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and transitions of life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, you will be welcomed into a warm, non-judgmental space where we will be completing intake documents and give you time to share your story and further explore challenges and goals.

My strengths include building strong therapeutic relationships by listening deeply to my clients and creating a safe space and providing an empathic and calm presence.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a way to learn strategies to help change negative thoughts and behaviors to improve overall emotional well being. I’ve used worksheets to help change these patterns as well as role play.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
SFT is a positive approach focusing on the solutions and problem solving to the stressors and challenges. I usually have worksheets to plan out the problem solving and treatment goals.
