About me

While I am new to Grow Therapy, I have been practicing in various schools settings as a counselor for over a decade: supporting students and parents navigate, life, learning and loss of all types. Whether you or your child experience neurodivergence (such as ADHD, anxiety, autism, emotionality, sensory sensitivities, demand avoidance, etc.) or are struggling with social , work, relationship or routine daily demands, I am here to support you. I tailor each session to meet the client's individual needs, personality, and strengths. Together, we'll build on your resilience, intuition, and inner resources while creating opportunities for growth, healing, and self-empowerment. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative environment to make changes at your pace.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll take time to understand what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to achieve, and answer any questions you may have about the process. Just as importantly, it's a chance for you to get a sense of whether I'm the right fit for your journey. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with at least one practical tool, strategy, or new perspective that you can begin applying in your daily life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe in the power of intuition and living a truly authentic and fulfilling life. My goal is to support each client in tapping into their own inner wisdom and strengths to navigate, overcome or change things that are not working for them. My approach to therapy is integrative and personalized. Drawing from evidence based modalities such as Rogerian (person-centered), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brainspotting. With child-clients, I use play and art based therapies. I tailor each session to meet the client's individual needs, personality, and strengths. Together, we'll build on your resilience, intuition, and inner resources while creating opportunities for growth, healing, and self-empowerment. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative environment where you can explore challenges, develop new perspectives or skills, and make lasting changes at a pace that feels right for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am able to work with people of all ages and find a great deal of meaning in supporting those going through difficult life changes ( such as separation, grief/loss, transitioning into adulthood, career changes, becoming a parent, etc.). I am especially skilled at working with neurodivergence such as ADHD, autism, high sensitivity (HSP), and sensory struggles (SPD). My ideal client, no matter the neuro-type or diagnosis, has a desire to get to know themselves and their needs on a deeper level with a willingness to explore radical self-acceptance and self-compassion.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to help you explore your own motivations and uncover why you want to make a change. Together, we identify your values and resolve any conflicts you feel about taking action.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

You are always at the center of the work we are doing. I believe that you are your own best authority on your life and you already embody the inner knowing to unlock your fullest potential. My role is to assist in your exploration and self empowerment.

Strength-Based

We will identify your strengths, passions, values, and innate gifts to utilize them and elevate your quality of life and relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In mindfulness work, we will practice actively being present, noticing body sensations, using your 5 senses, practicing body scans and guided meditation in order to become more present and release/reduce intrusive thoughts of the past or ruminating on the future.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We will explore how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all interconnected and affect one another and what triggers are creating certain patterns that are undesirable in your life. From there, we can focus on one area that feels manageable to change, creating a new more positive pattern in your life.
