¡Hablo Español! Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Roxana,
and I’m a first-generation Mexican-American, born and raised in Southern California. I proudly
served in the Marine Corps and have been working in mental health since 2012, providing case
management to individuals facing homelessness and severe mental illness. Over the years, I’ve
had the privilege of working in diverse settings throughout Riverside County, including Domestic
Violence and Forensic Mental Health, where I worked closely with men in the Criminal Justice
System.
During my practicum, I provided individual counseling to military members, veterans, and first
responders, helping them address relationship conflicts, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief
Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as Gottman Relationship
Method (Level 1). However, I believe that effective therapy begins with a genuine,
person-to-person connection—one that builds trust, fosters open communication, and creates a
sense of safety and mutual respect. My goal is to create a space where clients feel truly seen
and valued, and I occasionally use humor to support meaningful therapeutic work that fosters
long-lasting growth and change.
Thank you again for visiting my profile—it would be an honor to work with you!
Hello and welcome to my page! While I'd like to say that I'm here to solve all of your problems, I am not. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe space for you to express your thoughts/feelings, gain insight and bravery so you can create the life you deserve by mitigating the intrusive thoughts and feeling of overwhelmness.
My name is Patrice Kane and I have been licensed since 2019. I am a compassionate clinician who works with individuals navigating trauma, relationship issues via couples therapy, anxiety, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and focuses on helping clients feel safe, understood, and empowered as they build practical skills for emotional regulation and healing. I believe in meeting each person where they are and supporting them with collaboration, mutual respect and care.
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years of experience in the mental health field.
My goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to process, learn to unlearn that which is no longer helpful to you, and rebuild.
My services can be provided in English, Portuguese, or Spanish and include stress management, coping with depression and/or anxiety, and learn to live with what cannot be changed.
A meaningful life must be constructed, with care and diligence, kindness and courage.
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, depression, relationship stress, and life transitions. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful and self-aware but feel stuck in patterns they can’t quite shift — whether that’s overthinking, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling overwhelmed by competing responsibilities.
Many of the adults I work with feel stuck or overwhelmed, even if they’re not entirely sure why. They may struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, setting boundaries, or balancing the many demands in their lives. Therapy becomes a space to slow down, gain clarity, and begin making intentional shifts.
My style is collaborative, structured, and supportive. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and practical. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also building skills you can apply in everyday life. I aim to create a space that feels calm, respectful, and focused — where insight and action go hand in hand.
I approach therapy with warmth and clarity, helping clients better understand themselves while developing tools that support healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and greater confidence in their decisions.
Hello my name is Charlene, I would love to assist and guide you on the journey to which you currently find yourself. I am available for telehealth every Friday. It is a very convenient way to do therapy for those with busy lives, or who either work from home, or prefer the privacy of their own home, and you will not incur co-pay charges. I also see clients face to face every other Saturday in my Vacaville office. Before I can schedule you for an "in-person" visit, I must meet you a few times on video to learn of your issues and determine whether I am the appropriate therapist. I also do EMDR therapy using tapping or hand held tappers This great intervention can be used on video or in-person. Please give me a call so we can begin to explore the path ahead.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor licensed in the state of California. I received my Master's in Counseling at the University of Great Falls. I have been practicing for over 10 years and have worked in both a community health center setting and in an individual practice. I enjoy working with diverse populations to improve their overall well-being in their daily life.
I’m a therapist who primarily works with men dealing with relationship struggles, trauma, and anxiety that’s started to affect work, family, and daily life. I’ve worked in a men’s trauma center as well as in private practice, so I’m very comfortable sitting with the heavier stuff that most guys have learned to keep to themselves. My style is direct, non‑judgmental, and very relational, think real conversation, honest feedback, and a focus on what actually helps you feel and live better, not just “talking about your feelings” for an hour.
I’m Dr. Deanna Mercado, a Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals, couples, and families in their healing journeys. My work is grounded in depth psychology, which means we look beyond surface symptoms to explore the underlying emotional patterns, relational wounds, cultural narratives, and unconscious dynamics shaping your life.
I believe many struggles , anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, identity questions, or life transitions , are invitations to deeper understanding. In our work together, we will gently explore your personal history, family stories, and internal world to uncover meaning, strengthen self-awareness, and restore connection to your authentic self.
My approach is reflective, relational, and culturally attuned. I hold space for the complexities of identity, ancestry, and lived experience, recognizing that healing happens not only within the individual, but in relationship to culture, community, and the larger story of your life.

Hello! I’m Danielle. I am from Massachusetts where I completed my undergraduate (Criminal Justice & Psychology) and graduate (social work) studies. During undergrad, I volunteered with a program that help inmates with serious mental health disorder re-enter to the community. I was told the most efficient way to engage in that type of work was to go to a MSW program, so I did. During my graduate program, I heavily explored crisis intervention/assessments. Since then I have worked at a variety of places, including therapy, case management, prisons, and emergency response.
As someone who has been in and out of therapy since I was young, I never wanted to be administering therapy. I thought being a therapist would be boring and I didn’t really understand it. However, as I’ve explored what therapy should be- treating someone using an evidenced-based practice- I enjoy administering mental health treatment, using a scientific approach.
My goal is to help you gain relief from symptoms, maintain or enhance daily functioning, and improve quality of life. Ultimately, I want you to gain a sense of independence and confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges, using the tools and insights you’ve developed in therapy.
My career as a classroom teacher, assistant principal and university professor served me well in my current practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Doctorate in Education/Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a university professor, I became the Multiple Subject Program Director, Graduate Reading Director, and Supervisor of Student Teachers with both national and international publications.
I specialize in holding space for the deep-thinkers and cycle-breakers, the individuals who have spent a lifetime looking inward and dismantling generational patterns, yet still feel the friction of a world demanding 'more' at the expense of 'being.'
My approach combines a lifelong passion for psychology and therapeutic processes with a multicultural, spiritually grounded worldview. As a mother, a doctoral candidate, and a business owner, I don't just teach boundaries; I live them. I am a 'Keturah-sized' bridge in the wellness gap for those who have cycled through therapists searching for a peer who truly sees them. Together, we intentionally move past the '15 tasks by yesterday' mentality and into a strategic, soul-deep architecture of rest, healing, and expansion.

Online Therapy for California Clients
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing online therapy to clients located anywhere in California. I am physically based in Texas but currently work only with clients located in California.
I work with thoughtful individuals and couples who work hard yet still feel anxious. Many are looking for more than surface-level coping skills—they want deeper understanding and lasting change. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or big questions about meaning, purpose, and identity—often while holding demanding roles in their personal or professional lives.
In addition to my clinical work, I teach couples counseling as an adjunct professor at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Teaching keeps me grounded in both theory and practice, and it reflects how much I genuinely enjoy helping people understand relationships more deeply—whether that’s learning how conflict works, how attachment shapes connection, or how to communicate with more honesty and care.
I also bring an unconventional but deeply human element into my work: humor. I’m a comedian outside the therapy room, and when used thoughtfully, humor can help lower defensiveness, build trust, and make difficult conversations feel more approachable. Therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time to be meaningful.
I have particular experience working with healthcare workers and others in high-pressure systems, including those balancing responsibility, burnout, and emotional fatigue while still needing to function at a high level. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded, integrating attachment-based, somatic, mindfulness-based, and practical strategies tailored to each client.
Above all, I aim to create a space where people feel safe, understood, and free to explore what really matters to them—at their own pace, and with curiosity rather than judgment.
Welcome I am so glad you are here. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you do not have to navigate this alone. Whether you are struggling to find balance amid overwhelming work stress, trying to improve communication in your relationships, or looking for practical ways to ease the heavy weight of anxiety and depression, I am here to help. Together, we will create a safe, supportive space to explore your goals, untangle complex emotions, and build the tools you need to reclaim your peace of mind and live a more fulfilling life.
I am Jaron Haynes, an African American/Native American licensed therapist with 20 years of clinical experience which includes working with families, adolescents, the chronically mentally ill, those struggling with substance abuse and addiction, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, domestic violence, and personality disorders.

With over 40 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I help people listen to their inner voice and develop self-knowledge to find the path that feels right for them. I believe each person is unique, with their own biology, neurology, family history, and culture. Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or not like yourself lately? You don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Hi, I’m Gustavo, a licensed therapist in California. I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck—especially when stress, relationships, or major life changes start to feel overwhelming.
A lot of the people I work with feel like their mind won’t shut off, like they’re constantly overthinking or carrying stress that doesn’t go away. Others feel burned out, unmotivated, or disconnected from themselves. Some find themselves repeating the same patterns in relationships or coping in ways that don’t actually help long-term. If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
In our work together, we’ll focus on practical strategies that help you feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions. I’ll help you build confidence, set clear boundaries, improve communication, and start breaking the patterns that keep you stuck. My approach is direct, supportive, and goal-oriented. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’ll help you understand what’s going on and give you tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.
My approach draws on psychoanalytic thinking, which revolves on one central idea: much of what we think and feel remains outside of our awareness.
Sometimes we keep powerful feelings hidden so we can continue moving through the day, or we simply cannot find time to reflect on everything that is happening to us.
In any case, keeping these potent experiences hidden may leave us feeling stiff, dreary, unfulfilled, or even numb and dull. I offer emotional attunement and embodied wisdom.
Clients come away from sessions with self-trust, and more secure boundary-wise self-care.
Hello! I’m Sandra V. Chávez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Psychological Assistant with the California Board of Psychology. I’m passionate about helping individuals grow both personally and emotionally through client-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
As a first-generation Latina, I learned ambition, tenacity, and determination from my parents. My educational journey includes dual bachelor’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Psychology, as well as a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I’m currently on the path to becoming a licensed psychologist. Before entering the mental health field, I worked as a nurse and briefly attended medical school in Southern California. That experience deepened my interest in understanding the brain, human development, and the impact of environmental factors on behavior.
I specialize in supporting clients through mood disorders, life transitions, and self-empowerment challenges. My strengths lie in helping individuals develop emotional intelligence, identify, and understand their emotions. I believe therapy should be tailored to each person’s unique needs, which is why I use an integrative, eclectic approach that draws from evidence-based methods and holistic practices, including mindfulness and positive psychology.
I also enjoy working with individuals who incorporate their faith into their mental health journey. For those open to incorporating their faith as a tool for healing, I create a safe, welcoming space where spirituality and therapy work hand in hand.
Above all, I value building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to offer a non-judgmental environment where your thoughts and emotions are respected and where real progress can be made. Together, we’ll explore strategies, assignments, and tools that help you overcome life’s hurdles and achieve lasting personal growth and fulfillment.
Let’s begin this journey together!

Please let me know if I can bring a more balanced picture to your life and those who you value and love in your life as well.
My approach is flexible, client centered, and utilizes mindfulness-based interventions at every point of the journey towards healing. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each specific client.
