Hi, I'm Paula Whidden, LMFT, LPCC. MDiv
You may look like you're managing on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside. Perhaps your mind won't slow down at night, anxiety keeps you on edge, or painful experiences from the past continue to affect your relationships, confidence, or sense of peace. You may feel exhausted from carrying burdens that no one else can see.
I help teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions find healing, hope, and practical tools for lasting change. Together, we'll work to understand what is keeping you stuck, process difficult experiences, and build skills that help you move forward with greater confidence and emotional freedom.
My approach is warm, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and safe enough to explore both your struggles and your strengths. I strive to create an environment where clients can heal without judgment while learning new ways to respond to life's challenges.
I am a trauma-focused Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with specialized training in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gottman Method couples work, Prepare/Enrich, and anxiety treatment. Over the years, I have helped clients who felt anxious, depressed, fearful, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck discover new ways of understanding themselves and relating to others. Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and encouraging. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms but to help you experience greater peace, resilience, and hope for the future.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but you don't have to face life's challenges alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you pursue healing and growth.

Hello, my name is Michael Chavez, LCSW, and I provide individual therapy to adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, work related stress, and relationship issues. I understand how tough life can be. Before I became a therapist, I went through my own challenges — unhoused, unemployed, and struggling with substance use. Getting sober and working my way through college wasn’t easy, but it shaped the way I show up for others now: with understanding, patience, and zero judgment.

Hi, My name is Aaron and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who loves to see people start taking more control over their life and empowering them to become the mature, healthy person that they've always wanted to be. I've found that many people get bogged down by false lies/narratives that they have in their heads like, "I'm not good enough", "I can't handle it", or the all too common "I don't deserve ... ".
These lies, whether we realize it or not, end up impacting many area's of our life, especially the way we view ourselves. With me, my hope is that you will have a transformative experience in the way you look at yourself and believe in yourself. My goal is for you to grow in believing, "There are many good things about me and that's enough", or "I actually can handle it, and I can figure things out" or "I actually do deserve ..."
When you grow in actually believing these things, it's amazing how much more mature, healthy and confident you become. You can actually re-write the way you think about yourself and you can experience life to the fullest!

Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
Welcome! I am a bilingual (Spanish), Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. I have practiced in forensic, hospital and outpatient clinical settings. I provide therapeutic services to adults in areas such as Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Grief, Stress, and self-esteem. I incorporate several therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strength-Based which are tailored to your specific needs.
Hello – Welcome to Insight Care Counseling!
The beauty of this -our shared life’s journey- is that we can aspire to embody its greatest gifts: love, fulfillment, clarity and peace. And yet, at times, we encounter challenges and changes that bring forth feelings of stress, depression, anxiety -or numbness and disorientation. And it is often at these junctures that psychotherapy can help; for in essence, the therapeutic journey is about finding richness even while in the land of disenchantment … and healing even while walking through pain.
I’m Jonathan, a California-based psychotherapist with broad experience in the field. My therapeutic style is warm and compassionate, active and engaged. Helping you navigate your wellness-growth journey in an effective and authentic way, is my calling and my passion!
I have over 20 years experience working in the mental health field. I am passionate about the work that I do and feel confident in my ability to help most people. I have significant training and expertise in assisting parents with their children, providing family therapy as well as individual therapy in community and office settings. My expertise is in trauma and in addressing psychosomatic concerns.

I help adults who are struggling, become the best version of themselves at their own pace.
Therapy can be a frightening, overwhelming process, yet one of the most rewarding and life changing experiences of your life. It allows you to be you, share your thoughts and feelings without judgement, feel safe, gain insight into your thought process, your behaviors, and learn to be in control of your overall experiences. Through your strengths and weaknesses, you will learn to embrace each and every experience, and you will gain the knowledge to make the changes you need to achieve your goals. You will find the power within you to bring fulfillment to your life journey.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience helping people, couples, and families grow, and learn what they need to have a more fulfilling life experience. I will listen to your life experience. I will listen to your challenges. Welcome! I'm Mia Grajeda-Willard, LCSW. I am the proud spouse of a Marine Corp. veteran and the granddaughter of a World War II veteran. These amazing humans are proud of their military service and the legacy it provides their families for generations to come. While that is true, what is also true is that transitioning from military life back to civilian life was a struggle for them, as I know it is for many veterans and their families.
I have committed my career to serving those who served this country by walking alongside veterans, and their family members to affirm their identity, transition back to civilian life, heal from painful traumas, and reconcile ruptures in relationships that may have resulted in challenges from military life or pre-military childhood upbringings.
I believe that we all deserve a safe space to process our experiences, and my primary goal is to provide you that space. I provide a person-centered approach that emphasizes helping my clients build self-compassion, as I believe that it is only from a place of self-compassion that we can feel grounded within ourselves enough to develop a compassionate relationship with others around us. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, trauma informed, and practical, and I believe that we are all on a healing journey and see myself as a fellow traveler. It is an honor to walk by your side
With over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals, children and families explore ways to find stability, resilience, and healing through times of change.
