Hellooo! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist living in Virginia. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2008.
I have lived in many different places but mostly I grew up in eastern North Carolina and Europe. Having parents from western New York and southern West Virginia, I was raised in a "northern" household in a "southern" environment. I like to think these contrasts in my life have helped me learn to adapt and identify with many different types of people. While I value the privilege of being an American, I love what other nationalities contribute to my world. Standing beside my clients and walking with them through their difficult times is one of my greatest joys.
Welcome, I'm glad you are here!
I'm Aline and I empower you to reconnect with your authentic self, and achieve your goals in counseling. I believe you already possess within you the capacity and resources to resolve your own issues and just need the support in therapy to tap into your strengths to enhance your mental wellness.
My goal is to provide a safe therapeutic environment for exploration, understanding of current unhelpful patterns, collaborative problem solving, and building of skills that foster growth.

We all have the opportunity in our life to start fresh. During the journey, we change, grow, heal, destroy, and can improve our lives. You will experience difficulties, and you are not alone. We are not alone in this world, but we are compelled to isolate ourselves from the fear of experiencing too much pain. I have many years of clinical training with life experiences, including successes and failures, but we are not provided a how to manual at birth. I have a sense of humor, but good sound clinical judgment, so take a leap of faith.

As a compassionate, empathetic, and solution-focused therapist, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and understood.

I believe that meaningful change occurs when clients feel empowered to understand themselves more deeply and take intentional steps toward the life they want to create. My goal is to help you move beyond surviving and toward thriving with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being

Hi! I am a licensed counselor in Florida and Georgia. I have been working as a counselor for 14 years, with a private practice for the past 9 years. I went to the University of North Florida for undergraduate and graduate school. I have worked with many populations including men and women, high achievers, professionals, veterans, who have dealt with anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and career issues, etc.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with children and adults. I have primarily worked within school systems as an on-site therapist; as well as in my own private practice. I work with people who have a variety of concerns, including: trauma, attachment, grief and loss, divorce, school problems, anxiety and depression, life-phase transitions, and family conflicts. I value an eclectic and prescriptive therapeutic model, and am skilled at shifting gears when the need arises.
My specialty is working with children 2 to 12. As a registered play therapist/supervisor, I understand the language that children routinely use to communicate: play. Through play therapy, children can explore new roles, act out challenging situations, and re-work beliefs about themselves and others. In parent-child play therapy (with younger children), we work together to build secure and safe connections, practice new ways of communicating, and foster JOY in your interactions.
In addition to play therapy, I have trained extensively in EMDR (for children and adults), Jungian sandtray, the Oaklander Model of Gestalt Play therapy, Mindfulness, and Theraplay. Every one of these modalities is meant to foster relationships built on safety, warmth, security, and trust.
My work with adult clients can be described as "going deep." I especially enjoy working with adult women going through life transitions (career, family, spiritual). In addition, I am interested in working with other therapists who experience clinical burnout.
In my life outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, crocheting, reading, yoga, walking, petting my cats, and spending time in nature.

She has since held various positions providing psychotherapy, consultation, as well as intelligence and diagnostic testing for children and adults.
Dr. Wuhib uses a collaborative, outcome focused approach tailored to individuals' needs using cognitive behavior, psychodynamic, and mindfulness therapies that are trauma informed. Her special interests are chronic stress, anxiety, and complex relationship trauma and their impact on daily living.
Welcome!
I came to this work a little differently than some. After spending 16 years in my first career, I found myself sitting across from a therapist for the first time. That experience changed my life. It gave me not only a new perspective on myself but also a deep desire to help others in the same way. So, I made a big leap: I went back to school to become a therapist myself.
Since then, it’s been over two decades of meaningful, often humbling work. I spent 21 years in community-based mental health and substance abuse treatment, and I was fortunate to serve as a contracted therapy provider for the Department of Defense—work that gave me a profound respect for the strength and resilience of those who serve. I’ve also worked in private group practice and provided therapy in intensive outpatient programs in Canada, gaining experience with a wide range of individuals and challenges along the way.
In November 2021, I opened my own private practice. It’s been an incredible privilege to support individuals and couples in this more personal setting, and I truly value the relationships I build with each client. If you’re considering therapy, I want you to know you're not alone—and change really is possible.

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist (FL/NJ/VA). My therapeutic approach is based on the individual's specific needs. I also use traditional talk therapy with my clients. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of therapy that enables you to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. I work with adult clients. *NOTE: According to my policy, I do not complete FMLA or disability paperwork at this time.

Do you ever feel stressed out or on edge? Do your thoughts seem to spin out of control or lead to fear of future situations? Does that worry prevent you from being present in the moment or keep you from getting restful sleep at night? If you are ready to regain control of your thoughts and live a more present and fulfilled life then you have come to the right place.
Hi! I’m Sarah Theimer, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Virginia. I am also a Christian and the proud wife of a first responder. I provide anxiety and trauma treatment, helping adults breakthrough the cycle of worry and trauma to live a more present and fulfilled life. To help you reach your goals, I use a two-fold approach by teaching you tools to help cope with everyday stressors and manage the intensity of emotions while exploring past experiences which have/are impacting the way you currently feel/behave. As a therapist, I strongly believe in exploring past hurts and experiences to help you better understand what led you to this point and assist in treating the root causes of the anxiety. I aim to keep sessions goal oriented and structured to assist individuals in meeting their goals.
