New to Grow
Hi, I'm Kristen. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply tired of carrying everything on your own, you're not alone. I provide a warm, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. With more than 10 years of experience, I work with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, parenting stress, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop coping skills, and create meaningful changes that support the life you want to live.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to help you feel comfortable from the very beginning. During our first session, we'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, relationships, and goals, but there is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying priorities and discussing a plan for moving forward together.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my warm, down-to-earth approach and ability to make them feel comfortable without judgment. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely supported, challenged when needed, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I bring experience working with children, teens, adults, families, and older adults across a variety of settings. Because every person is different, I take a flexible approach and tailor therapy to your individual needs. I incorporate evidence based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, attachment-based interventions, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, parenting stress, or a major life change, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your coping skills, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges.
Teens, adults, and families feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, ADHD, trauma, mood symptoms, grief, or life transitions. Clients who want a supportive, practical, down-to-earth space to build coping skills, improve relationships, and feel more grounded and confident. I work best with clients who are open to learning new skills, exploring patterns, and making small meaningful changes over time in a supportive space.
