It can be really tough to reach out for help - sometimes though, just making that first call for an appointment can give us some relief. Hi, I'm Terry Pope and I love helping folks on their journey to feeling better! My job as your therapist is to assist you in setting achievable goals and creating a path to get there! I have 25 years of experience in helping empower folks to live their best life! I really enjoy the unique experience of building a therapeutic relationship with clients and watching the process of change take place! Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, having problems communicating in your relationships or just feeling anxious and/or depressed, together we'll get you on the way to feeling better and living a more satisfying life.
In our first session, we will discuss why you decided to come to therapy and what your goals are during this process. I will also gather information about your family history that helps me understand how you became the person you are today. You will leave our first session with at least one new coping skill to practice prior to our next meeting.
I've been told by clients that I'm easy to talk with and people seem to feel connected early in the therapeutic relationship. I' m a very warm person and believe that comes through in our work together!

(Couples therapy) We’ve only had one session so far but she asked a lot of great questions and seemed to really want to learn about each of us, our childhoods, our parents relationships, and our marriage. seems very knowledgeable and gave us homework which we look forward to doing!
