New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and compassion. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and fulfillment, and therapy can be a powerful step toward reaching that potential. I work with women and men who are managing stress, anxiety, perfectionism, or significant life transitions such as parenthood, career shifts, or relationship changes. Many of my clients are striving to balance multiple roles while also wanting to prioritize their own happiness and well-being. In our work together, I may use different modalities such psychodynamic, cognitive, humanistic, and group therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. We may explore underlying patterns, identify and shift unhelpful thought processes, and build on existing strengths. My role is to support clients in gaining insight, developing effective coping tools, and creating healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Clients often leave therapy with a deeper sense of self, improved resilience, and the confidence to make meaningful changes. My mission is to empower both women and men to move beyond what holds them back and build lives of balance, purpose, and fulfillment.
In your first session, my focus is on getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’d like to work on, and what goals you hope to achieve. I’ll ask questions about your background, daily life, and the challenges you’re facing, but we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This session is also your opportunity to ask me questions and get a feel for how I work. I want you to feel supported and heard from the very beginning. Together, we’ll begin to outline a plan for therapy—whether that means learning coping strategies, exploring patterns, or building self-awareness—so you leave with a sense of direction and hope. Above all, the first session is about creating a safe and welcoming space where you can share openly, without judgment.
What makes me unique as a therapist is my belief that you are the expert in your own life. I see my role as a guide—helping you uncover the answers and insights that already exist within you. I combine this client-centered approach with evidence-based modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive, and humanistic, tailoring each session to your needs and goals. I’m great at what I do because I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns freely. I help you gain clarity, identify unhelpful patterns, and build practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. My approach empowers you to develop self-awareness, confidence, and resilience, while honoring your experiences and perspective. In short, I help clients move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling capable, understood, and in control of their own lives—so they can create meaningful, lasting change that aligns with who they truly are.
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re carrying so much on your shoulders. You may be the person others rely on—at work, at home, or in your relationships—yet inside, you feel stressed, anxious, or unsure of your next steps. Maybe you hold yourself to impossibly high standards, struggle with perfectionism, or find it hard to slow down and put yourself first. Or perhaps you’re in the middle of a big life transition—becoming a parent, shifting careers, or navigating relationship changes—and you’re unsure how to move forward. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. I work with women and men who are driven, capable, and caring, but who also feel stuck in patterns that leave them drained or disconnected from themselves. My clients often share a desire for balance, self-confidence, and healthier ways of thinking and coping. In therapy, I’ll help you uncover what’s beneath the surface, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and connect with your strengths. Together, we’ll work on practical tools for daily life, while also addressing the deeper patterns that may be holding you back. My goal is to support you in finding clarity, confidence, and fulfillment—so you can show up fully for yourself and in the relationships and roles that matter most to you.
I use cognitive therapy to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns. By focusing on how thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, I guide clients in developing healthier ways of thinking that support positive change in their daily lives.
I draw from psychodynamic approaches to help clients explore the unconscious meanings and motivations behind their behaviors. By bringing these patterns to light, I support clients in gaining deeper self-awareness and creating meaningful changes in problematic behaviors.
In my humanistic approach, I emphasize each client’s capacity for growth, self-awareness, and rational choice. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space that encourages clients to connect with their strengths and move toward personal development and fulfillment.
In group therapy, I facilitate a supportive environment where clients can share experiences, gain feedback, and learn from one another. I use the group dynamic to help members build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop healthier relationships both within and outside the group.
