In addition to being an LCSW in Virginia, I am also credentialed as an LCSW in the state of Louisiana.
I will be working with clients only in a teletherapy platform. There are no in person appointments. Due to this, I will not be comfortable working with children or couples at this time. Hi there! Let's sit and chat...
Are you looking for a safe space to explore and organize your thoughts and feelings?
Many people see therapy as a one-sided conversation, with little opportunity for interaction or getting to experience one another as real people. I can assure you our sessions will be as real as it gets!
I want to help you achieve whatever solutions and life changes you are looking for. We'll work on building trust, a sense of safety, open communication, and humor to identify how we can improve on your already existing coping skills, supports, and knowledge. Although this process may be challenging, we will work to enjoy the process as much as possible, so you can experience yourself, your relationships, and your life in new ways. Simply put, I don't think therapy has to be a painful thing for you. Starting this step can be hard and I would love the opportunity to work with you on this journey.

Does the thought of therapy feel boring and pointless to you? Need someone who can help explain what is going on in you brain, how it impacts you, and practical ways to help deal with your challenges (anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, conflict, anger, addiction, men's issues, etc)?
My name is Taylor, and I offer Neuroscience Informed Therapy that helps you become the meaningful person you desire to be. I am an integrative therapist, and like to use therapies like ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), which is the newer wave of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), to help you build a new relationship with your brain, nervous system, and internal world. I love working with adolescents, young adults/adults, and families.
As a Christian and Clinical Therapist, I have a unique capacity to help people who come from a Christian background, as well as those that do not. Spirituality can be very beneficial in therapy, but not everyone wants it to be included. When we begin we can determine what's right for you in your journey.
Let's meet up and see if we are a good fit for therapy! If we are, we will set up good goals, go after them, and when we reach those goals we will transition out of therapy. In general, people do not need therapy for their entire life. So let's figure out what we need to do to help you and go after it.

Hello, my name is Robert.
If you are like other people and feeling the pressures of everyday life then the stress from the cares of attempting to live a normal life are working overtime. The pace today is more hectic. People need help. Everyone deserves a safe place and a stable environment. I find the most effective ways to help people feel comfortable with therapy is a welcoming attitude with curiosity about their experiences that have brought the person into the session.
My approach is to build a strong therapeutic alliance, provide acceptance, and focus on the present moment without judgment to help people gain the skills for managing complicated situations. Clients have often stated the experience was easy to discuss their issues without worry and they felt non-judged regardless of the situation. We will work together to discover what works, promote healing the whole person, and help understand the dynamics of existing relationships to choose to respond in a rational way to master life to the greatest extent possible.
Seeking therapy can feel scary but you’re making the right choice. In our sessions together I’ll meet you with compassion and with evidence-based strategies so you can build resilience, and stability to find the supports you need.

Like the name of my practice, I believe individuals are also capable of blooming throughout even the most difficult of circumstances. As a therapist that treats anxiety, ocd, depression, and trauma it is my goal to help individuals have a better understanding of themselves, process past pain, and feel confident in moving through life. I aim to be that safe guide that will assist you with reaching the life you want. Ultimately, you are the boss and have a say in what changes you want to make and your goals. With the help of my expertise, I will assist you with finding meaning in your life, facing painful situations, and living a life you value. Throughout this process I encourage transparency and open communication, as this is your life not mine.
YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT SPOT.
I understand, I have been there too, watching myself go through life while feeling like a shell of a person. After experiencing several traumatic events, the loss of both my parents in my early 20’s, and experiencing homelessness I was left reeling with a variety of painful emotions. With the support of some wonderful individuals, I was able to grab control of my life and continue to live boldly.
Therapy with me isn't about becoming someone "different.” There is no such thing as perfection, only progress. I believe you deserve to be heard, validated, and supported. Your story is yours and just as important as anyone else’s story.

Life is full of surprises, some pleasant and some not so pleasant. It is in these moments that a little guidance can go along way. Let me be there for you during your challenging moments to help you navigate through them and emerge victoriously. I am a licensed professional counselor with five years of experience including Residency.
Though I use an eclectic approach, the interventions I most commonly use are Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy. One size does not fit all so understanding my clients and applying client specific intervention is very important to me. I am also clinical trauma specialist, trained in Internal family systems and EMDR. I am a firm believer of an individual's spirituality playing a significant role in their healing process. I provide Christian counseling to my clients who need it.

I'm a veteran counselor with over 30 years in the field. I went back to. school at age 30 after staying home for 8 years with my children. I loved both worlds-college and being a mom; somehow it all worked out. I have had a long and varied career. I started out at a Woman's resource center which focused on helping women get back into the workforce (this was long ago), I worked at a Family Service Agency where I served a diverse population from children to the more mature folks. I then did double time between the local emergency room and my private practice.
As my mom aged, I found it necessary to make changes to I went to work part-time at two local colleges, such a different experience but I enjoyed that population. My mom has passed, and I am definitely "retirement age" but I'm not ready to give up counseling, I truly love helping others.
I am very passionate about empowering folks so that they may be able to navigate life's challenges.
I had a therapist tell me some time ago, you can never take a client where you have not been. I have explored my own issues at length.

Hi, my name is Stephen
As a Christian do you ever feel like you are letting God down, or like you are not being faithful enough because you have real-life problems? Problems In your relationship, emotionally, behaviorally, or even with substance abuse.
Is it hard to be kind to yourself?
I help individuals manage their anxiety, depression, or burnout by addressing the needs of your body, mind, and spirit using the bible. I integrate current counseling theories with sound biblical principles to help develop a stronger relationship with God, and a stronger you.
Whether you are dealing with being overwhelmed, relationship issues, or cycles of anxiety and depression, I am here to help.
Seeking therapy can seem scary and maybe even against some of the teachings you've learned in church, but you are making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together I will meet with you, and your spouse if you want, with compassion and evidence-based techniques while using biblical principles so you can overcome the hang-ups and habits holding you back. The research says that 1 in 4 people in the United States, at any given time, have mental health issues. This does not exclude the church. The average church in Virginia has 250 members attending on any given Sunday. That means that at least fifty people in your church service last Sunday are struggling with some type of mental illness or emotional problem. I work with churches to help them with ministering to the hurting, please let me help you.

Welcome! I am glad you are here.
I am Ashton, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, and dually licensed in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am also a Registered Play Therapist and qualified to supervise clinicians in Florida seeking licensure.
I received my Bachelor in Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Psychology, and my Master's in Education from George Mason University, specializing in Community Agency Counseling.
My background consists of working in schools, communities, private practice, and non-profit sectors with children, teens, and young adults who are just in need of care and support, and who are open to discussing/implementing new tools to help with a variety of life circumstances.
My specialities include play therapy, where I can help children aged 5-12 reconcile what is going on in their world and offer strategies for coping with tough ordeals experienced within the family, school, or community.
I also love to incorporate mind, body, spirit practices via mindfulness, movement, art, yoga, nature, and storytelling with clients who are dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress-related situations, changes/adjustments, familial concerns to help one connect intimately with self and identify what one needs to feel better and more equipped to respond to those needs.
I look forward to our connection and working alongside you.
