I am licensed in Virginia with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & career difficulties. My passion is in Sports Psychology, Performance Psychology, and High Functioning Anxiety Resiliency. I use my experiences as a college athlete, coach, and counselor to aid clients find a path to their wellness. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I believe that my greatest strength as a counselor is being real. I value that you have taken this step and I want to simply help you on your way to getting to a healthier more fulfilling place.
I love working with individuals that are eager to build towards a better version of themselves by valuing their own experiences. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about where they are and how to get to where they want to be.
I strongly believe in meeting the client where they are and using humor, connection, and encouraging them to gain understanding of what has brought them to the challenges that they are facing.
