Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide psychotherapy to individuals who deal with a number of issues that include anxiety, depression, family/ relationship conflict, and trauma. It's not easy to take the first step and reach out for help, but my purpose is to ensure you feel supported and empowered as you undergo your journey towards change and healing.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I provide a warm and non-judgmental communication approach, along with offering supportive feedback, to help you feel safe, validated, and empowered throughout our therapeutic work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I integrate a trauma-informed and strength-based approach to my work with clients. I also employ a range of evidence-based interventions to support you on your journey towards change and healing. These interventions include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who wants to embark on a journey towards change or healing, whether that involves changing an unhealthy habit, improving their ability to cope with life's stressors, enhancing their relationships, or healing from trauma they have experienced at some point in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help manage and change cognitive, emotional, and behavioral symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help with treating and managing an array of PTSD, depression, and anxiety symptoms.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I utilize mindfulness-based therapy to help manage and reduce anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms.
Strength-Based
I utilize strength-based approaches to help clients work towards their therapeutic goals by focusing on their internal strengths and resources. Clients can feel more empowered and able to cope with challenges when they focus on building upon their strengths rather than focusing on their weaknesses or problems.
