I believe talk therapy is a power tool. It can heal. It can empower. It can bring about the kind of changes you seek. In order for talk therapy to really work, you must feel connected to and trust the therapist you work with so I encourage you to find the right fit. We will start where you are and, together, we will explore new ways of making your life more manageable. To struggle is to be part of the human experience. Struggle can be a motivator for change. Those self-defeating thoughts are not who you are. These life circumstances do not have to define your whole life.
I am a warm, down-to-earth therapist who believes you shouldn't have to edit yourself to feel understood. I work best with clients who are thoughtful, self-aware, and maybe a little tired of being told to "just stop overthinking" or "look on the bright side". My approach is collaborative and person-centered. I'm genuinely curious about your story and the experiences that have shaped how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. I integrate mindfulness, narrative, and somatic approaches to help you understand both what's happening in your mind and what your body may be trying to tell you. I especially enjoy working with adults in their 20s and 30s navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, identity, self-worth, and major life transitions. I also have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and creatives. As your therapist, you can expect me to be compassionate and validating while also gently challenging you. I'm not afraid to sit with the uncomfortable stuff, laugh with you when appropriate, or say, "What if we don’t have to figure this out right now?". I want therapy to be a space where you can be honest, curious, and completely yourself.
I have been found to be very effective working with individuals that present with persistent mental illness to impaired professionals including lawyers, pilots, entrepreneurs and other high-achieving individuals who are experiencing difficulty managing their careers and relationships due to dual diagnosis, psychiatric disorder, demands of stress and all types of addictions. With several years of inpatient experience, I am known for being able to identify and treat the real problem. Let's work together, you can feel better!
I have several years working in different capacities of Behavioral health treatment facilities. I am a certified interventionist with experience getting those suffering the treatment they deserve.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist working with individuals, couples, and families. I work collaboratively with clients of all ages to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and of their problems. I provide a space to identify, analyze, and challenge any negative patterns that impact your life. I help clients to challenge limiting beliefs that may be holding them back from being their most authentic self.
Career counseling focused on mental health in the workplace is my specialization. I help college students, job seekers, and working professionals who are feeling burned out, anxious, or overwhelmed reconnect with their strengths and bring their best selves to work or college. Many of my clients juggle high expectations, relationship challenges, and ongoing stress. They feel stuck, frustrated, or held back by negative self-talk or their environment. Together, we work on recognizing these patterns, challenging self-imposed limitations, and building healthier, more confident ways of thinking with clear steps to overcome challenges. I offer complimentary career exploration assessments, resume reviews, strategies for networking, practice interviews, and salary negotiation. I also offer complimentary business plan development for entrepreneurs and guidance on financial aid (FAFSA) for first-time college students.

It’s Okay Not to Be Okay.
Life can bring challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult seasons, overcome adversity, and discover their strengths along the way.
I have experience supporting children, teens, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, stress, co-occurring disorders, and men’s issues. My approach is compassionate, person-centered, and strength-based, incorporating evidence-based methods such as CBT and DBT.
I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you as you work toward healing and personal growth. Your story matters, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Hi, I’m Abel. I specialize in working with adults with ADHD, both men and women, as well as men navigating the pressures of work, relationships, family, and identity. I also work with couples, particularly when ADHD has become part of the conflict or disconnection in their relationship.
I know firsthand how ADHD can shape your life. It affects more than focus and productivity. It can also impact emotions, confidence, and relationships. I was diagnosed in my 30s, and it helped me make sense of years of struggles with organization, responsibilities, and executive functioning. What surprised me most was how profoundly ADHD can affect relationships, especially marriage. That’s why I believe ADHD therapy has to go beyond productivity and address emotional regulation, self-worth, follow-through, and connection.
As a husband of 13 years, a father, and a family man, I understand the quiet pressures many men carry. Men are often expected to be competent, steady, and dependable without always having a place to talk honestly about what happens when that becomes difficult. That perspective shapes the way I work with men: with honesty, compassion, practical tools, and real conversations without judgment.
My own marriage has also taught me how much relationships require vulnerability, accountability, and teamwork, especially when navigating ADHD. That experience helps shape my work with couples as they move beyond blame and toward greater understanding, reliability, and connection.
I’ve also wrestled with body image and self-worth after years of being overweight. Making meaningful changes taught me that taking care of yourself isn’t passive. It often means doing difficult things consistently because you’ve decided your well-being matters. Learning to show up for myself changed not only my health, but the way I saw and valued myself. That experience shapes how I help clients build a healthier, more grounded relationship with themselves.
Greetings, I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of North Texas and have been practicing for 19 years. Therapists can provide support, guidance, and tools to help navigate changes in relationships, careers, health, or any other aspect of life. They can help you explore your feelings, identify patterns or obstacles, and develop coping strategies to manage stress and uncertainty. Additionally, therapists can offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express yourself and work through any concerns or fears you may have about the transition process.

I am a licensed independent practice-level clinical social worker. I have a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work DCSW. I have dedicated my career to working in behavioral health treatment. I have worked within the Department of Defense Schools in Europe and Asia. I have worked with Active Duty members, Veterans and their families. Prior to joining the Civil Service, I practiced mental health within the civilian community, my focus there was substance abuse, domestic violence and and a variety of mental health issues working with adolescents and adults. My strongest ability lies in helping a client identify strengths and weaknesses while guiding them to identify goals and interventions that will work specifically for them. The most challenging part of therapy is believing it will make a difference. The best way to overcome that hurdle is to see successful outcomes.
Clinical experience has taught me that if you are willing to do the work, you will see results. Using the appropriate interventions, combined with mutual openness, respect and trust will enable you to overcome obstacles and achieve goals you didn't believe possible. Through years of dedicated work with all age groups, life experiences and extremely challenging circumstances, I have developed a strong sense of commitment in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing, self-awareness and growth.

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, (LPC), in Texas. I received my Masters from UT Brownsville. I also have a PhD in the Philosophy of Psychology where my research was in Positive Psychology. I have been helping people move from problems to new possibilities in their loves for about 15 years. Mental and emotional problems make us feel stuck but each person has power to overcome and move to flourishing.
I enjoy working with people to help them build a strong sense of self, encourage their confidence in relationships, and help foster a sense of calm and security in their everyday life. I enjoy helping parents navigate the many challenges that come our way. I believe people seek therapy for many reasons: adjustment to a new city or life situation, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or problems with relationships. Counseling is a process that most of us could benefit from time to time at different stages in life, as it brings an outsider's perspective to events, we are faced with in day-to-day life in a nonjudgmental way.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in depression, quick to anger, or frustrated in your relationships — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel like something just isn’t working, but they can’t quite explain why. Often, these struggles come from early experiences where emotions were ignored, dismissed, or too much for the adults around us to handle.
As children, we learn fast: if expressing emotions doesn’t feel safe or accepted, we push them down. Over time, that emotional disconnection can turn into anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or anger that feels hard to control.
My work focuses on helping you understand where these patterns come from and how to shift them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, anger that shows up too fast, or relationship challenges that keep repeating — we’ll work together to untangle the deeper story and build healthier ways of coping, connecting, and feeling.
This isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been shut down for too long.

If you're a high-functioning, driven person who looks like you have it together—but internally you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained—you’re not alone.
You may be used to being the strong one… the dependable one… the one everyone leans on. But lately, it’s starting to feel exhausting.
You might find yourself overthinking everything, struggling to set boundaries without guilt, or constantly pushing through your day while feeling mentally drained. At some point, coping stops feeling like living.
Clients who work with me often go from:
• Constant overthinking → feeling more mentally clear and present
• People-pleasing → setting boundaries with confidence
• Anxiety-driven decisions → trusting themselves
• Emotional exhaustion → feeling more balanced and in control
The time we spend together will be collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you.
You don’t have to keep pushing through this alone. If you're ready for meaningful change, I’d be honored to work with you.

I have experience working with military families and children going through reintegration processes, understanding new family dynamics, and how to support one another. I have experience working with children and youth who are facing social, academic, and identity concerns. I have experience working with foster and adopted youth who are working through traumatic experiences and are trying to navigate a new normal. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, family conflicts, parenting issues, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
With 25 years of clinical experience, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where adult clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing process. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Our work starts with individualized treatment planning and building coping strategies, followed by exploring and working through unhelpful thoughts and past experiences that continue to influence current emotions, behaviors, and relationships. This process supports greater insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful, lasting change.

Everyone has a story which impacts their core beliefs about themselves, relationships, life and choices made. I start with your story and want to learn what it has been like to be you in this life. I will help you to identify negative messaging and how those messages impact your life. I will include homework in most sessions to support your ongoing growth.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. You may know you need support but feel unsure of what to say or where to begin. That’s okay. Therapy is a place where you can start exactly where you are.
I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Healing doesn’t require perfection—it requires honesty, patience, and compassion.
People and their stories have always deeply mattered to me. From an early age, I felt drawn to listening and understanding others, which naturally led me into this work. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. I strongly believe that progress is still progress, no matter how small, and every step forward deserves to be acknowledged.
I am a Licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. Clients often describe me as empathetic, patient, and kind. I strive to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at a pace that feels right for you. You are the expert of your life—my role is to support, guide, and empower you.
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying unhelpful patterns, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we will work toward clarity, healing, and growth.
As C.S. Lewis said, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” Your experiences are valid, your feelings matter, and your story deserves care. I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.l
