I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas who adores working with children and adolescents. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and have been working in Community Mental Health services since COVID. I am a follower of Christ and I love helping people get through hard times, regardless of who they are or where they come from.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be getting to know each other and building a strong, collaborative relationship. I will gather information and evaluate appropriate treatment, and together we will develop a personalized treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In my practice, collaboration is key. Clients who are willing to take responsibility for their treatment goals will see a lot of growth and progress, and I can do my best therapeutic work when the client is also putting in the effort to get better. I will be your teammate, your advocate, and your helping hand, but you will take the lead on your goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use various therapeutic models in conjunction with CBT to provide a holistic therapy experience - I will help you reframe irrational thinking patterns and negative core beliefs in order for you to start healing mentally and physically.

Faith based therapy

Spirituality is a major part of a person's wellbeing, and therapy is the perfect place to discuss how belief systems can influence mental health. I accept patients of all spiritual practices and beliefs; and for those who are Believers in Christ, I can offer services rooted in scriptures and in accordance with God's Word.

Psychoeducation

The most fun part of therapy is learning "tools" for your "toolbox," and that's where psychoeducation comes in. I love to teach my clients communication skills, coping skills, grounding skills, anger management skills, and so much more! My job is to equip each client with the tools they need to survive anything life throws at them.
