Since the days of pigtails, I’ve been pulled by this strong force to access wisdom and connect with something higher than this tangible world. This gnawing passion has led me to study the power of the mind and how to create what our souls truly desire. I’ve been blessed to study ancient technologies such as yoga and breathwork and am so passionate about sharing simple tools to effect real change. I was trained in counseling at University of North Texas, receiving my Masters in Education. My favorite courses were transpersonal counseling and stress reduction through movement. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have currently been practicing for 7 years. I’m also a certified yoga teacher and trained at the Shri Kali ashram in India. The types of yoga I teach focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system to release the whole self from the ever vigilant fight or flight mode a lot of us find ourselves in on a constant basis to survive in this modern culture. In the therapy session, my main intent is to be fully present with you, free of judgment; to Become a spacious environment in which you can explore your own truth and start to shed the layers that no longer serve.

Hello! I am Amanda, counselor of 18 years, wife of 20 years, and mother for 13 years and counting. I have been a resident of the North Austin area for the last five years and am a Texas native, though I did spend some time growing up in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I am active in my son’s school, my church and my community which I am happy to call home. I have worked in domestic violence shelters, residential programs for children, with Child Protective Services, and in Private Practice. For many years I have had the privilege of joining my clients in the process of change. We go through so much in our lives. Love, loss, stress and anxieties shape who we are. Clients shouldn't have to be in therapy forever! Together, we'll co-create a balanced approach combining active listening with practical techniques, helping you reclaim your narrative and overcome obstacles. My clinical and holistic approach aims for deeper alignment and fulfillment—think more water, less soda. As an LCSW, I'm trained in EMDR, certified in Theta Healing, Reiki, Transformational Life Coaching, and Therapeutic Touch, and am a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, and Time Line Therapy. I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore your wants, needs, and emotions. You know yourself best, and our work is about uncovering your truths rather than imposing mine. Together, we'll determine the tools and approaches that best suit your needs, ensuring you feel heard, validated, and empowered. The goal is to help you confidently manage challenges independently over time. We'll walk side-by-side, with you gradually taking the lead and me offering steady support. If you have pressing concerns, those always take precedence. Our sessions focus on understanding HOW you think, not just WHAT you think, exploring both conscious and unconscious beliefs and emotions. You'll leave with clear, actionable steps, such as mindfulness exercises, creative writing prompts, meditation, and breathwork techniques to regulate emotions and reclaim your narrative. Therapy isn't about fixing what's "broken" but enhancing alignment and fulfillment while overcoming obstacles. By focusing on your goals and measuring progress, we can eliminate stigma, leaving shame behind and empowering you toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment.

"Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in our soul, and sings the tunes without the words, and never stops at all." Emily Dickinson "As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring a wealth of therapeutic expertise and an unwavering commitment to supporting individuals and families on their unique journeys. I view counseling as a collaborative, confidential partnership where my primary role is to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space for exploration and growth. I employ a diverse array of therapy models and strategies, but I also recognize the immense power of simply listening and understanding. My approach is action-oriented and empathetic, geared towards identifying practical solutions for your current challenges, ultimately enhancing your outlook and circumstances. Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and find a greater sense of balance and fulfillment. My career has taken me through many roles—serving on community mental health boards, directing psychiatric residential programs, and leading clinical teams—all with one goal: to support people in living fuller, healthier, and more connected lives. Since stepping back from full-time leadership roles, I’ve shifted my focus to what I value most—working directly with clients through my online therapy practice. I specialize in supporting young and middle-aged adults, couples, and parents who are facing life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, addictive habits, or a sense of feeling stuck. My approach combines the practical tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a deeper exploration of the emotional and mental blocks that may be holding you back. I believe healing and growth happen when we align mind, body, and spirit—restoring a sense of inner harmony that allows you to live with more clarity, purpose, and peace. Therapy is a journey, and you don’t have to take it alone. If you’re ready to begin creating positive changes in your life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Feel free to explore my website and see how we might work together.

Every person has a story. The culmination of experiences in one's life shapes how they view themselves, their relationships, and the world. I have a passion for helping clients celebrate their unique strengths and gifts they share with others. With experiences in both private practice and hospitals, I have noticed a particular need for clients to separate their view of themselves from their current difficulties and circumstances. In spite of where clients may find themselves at the moment, my belief is that they have overcome every difficulty, challenge, and trauma that they have faced up to the present moment. As such, they will withstand their current circumstances, and will again declare victory.

Hi, I'm Shelly — a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping people find their footing when life feels overwhelming. My journey in mental health began decades ago in music therapy, working in psychiatric settings where I first witnessed the remarkable capacity people have to heal when given the right support and a safe space. That foundation shapes the way I work to this day — with attunement, creativity, and a deep belief in each person's capacity to heal. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and addiction recovery, using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build real, lasting skills rather than just temporary relief. I have a particular heart for neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD and autism — who may have spent years feeling misunderstood. You do fit — sometimes it just takes the right space to discover that. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Good therapy isn't just about insight — it's about leaving each session with something you can actually use. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right, and work hard to make sure our time together is meaningful. For clients who desire it, I welcome the integration of faith and spirituality into our work. I believe healing touches the whole person — mind, heart, and spirit — and that for many people, faith isn't separate from their healing but central to it. I hold that with care and without pressure. Whether you're navigating a specific struggle or carrying a weight you've held for too long, you don't have to do it alone. Reaching out is the hardest step — and I'm really glad you're here. I'd love the opportunity to connect.

Hi, I’m Carrie Rimato, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving clients in the Greater Houston area, including Katy, Texas. My professional journey began in education—I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Houston Christian University (formerly HBU) and spent over a decade teaching in both public and private schools. Since then, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families across various settings, including private practice, hospitals, and crisis centers. I take an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy—drawing from EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and family systems theory—to provide personalized care tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or relationship issues, my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported, empowered, and heard. My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the states of Texas and Arizona. I am also a certified school counselor and transitioned to full-time mental health counseling after working as a high school counselor. I have been working as a counselor for 10 years, primarily in the school setting. I helped my students with issues such as family problems, academic struggles, relationship issues, trauma/abuse, ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, grief, and suicidal ideation. Before working as a counselor, I was an elementary teacher for 6 years. I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I love seeing my clients understand themselves better and improve their mental health. I feel comfortable counseling people from a variety of backgrounds, especially those whose backgrounds are different than my own. My entire professional career has been spent with a primarily Hispanic population, but I am comfortable with other cultures, as well. I am a big fan of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solutions-focused therapy, but I try to cater my counseling to each client, so I often incorporate different counseling philosophies as needed. I believe my clients are the experts on their own lives and I want to work with them to improve their contentment, coping skills, and mental health. I believe it is important and beneficial to have a nonjudgmental, unbiased person to talk to. This is one of the best parts of counseling. I often use humor to lighten the mood when counseling. I find this helps grow my relationships with my clients. Congratulations on making the first step towards getting help. I would love to work with you.

My name is Omar Sandoval and I could have been a statistic. The persistent financial, social, and inter- and intrapersonal adversity I experienced coming from a low socioeconomic status single parent home could have defined me were it not for hope, discipline, education, luck, and my hobbies. Instead, I am a Mexican-American English/Spanish speaking Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor practicing since 2017. I was inspired to work in this field due to many hardships growing up. Though difficult to overcome, such significant obstacles ignited my curiosity for understanding the human condition and improving upon it when and where possible, a lifelong pursuit which still guides me personally and professionally.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves. My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not. Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in TX, CO, and ID, passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful and lasting ways. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in authenticity. I believe healing happens when people feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and supported without judgment. I specialize in navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, identity struggles, intimacy concerns, trauma, perfectionism, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting couples, children, adults, LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, BIPOC communities, and Spanish-speaking clients through culturally sensitive and affirming care. My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, somatic techniques, play therapy interventions, and sex therapy-informed work. I strive to create therapy experiences that are both practical and deeply compassionate, helping clients better understand themselves while building the tools needed for emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and long-term healing. As a bilingual Latina therapist, I value creating spaces where clients can show up fully as themselves. I understand how culture, family dynamics, identity, and lived experiences can shape emotional wellbeing, and I aim to honor each client’s unique story throughout the therapeutic process. In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about holistic healing, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and personal growth. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival mode and toward lives that feel more connected, balanced, authentic, and emotionally sustainable. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where healing is not about perfection, but about creating greater self-awareness, resilience, and compassion for yourself along the way.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who's been servicing the mental health needs of individuals and groups for over 15 years. I graduated with my undergraduates in Psychology and Spanish, followed by my Master's of Science in Social Work, and ended with my Doctorate of Clinical Leadership in Social Work. I help my clients process and heal from trauma using various methods to meet each person where they are at. Providing therapy is a privilege for me. Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the states of Texas and Tennessee with 30 years of counseling and ministry experience. I began as a minister of the Gospel in the Southern Baptist tradition in 1993 working with the homeless to overcome the struggles of addiction and hopelessness in North Carolina and Tennessee. From there, I became a case manager in a rural oupatient behavioral health clinic helping the chronically mentally ill live independently outside of the institutional settings. As my family of five children grew, my wife encouraged me to join the military in 2007 and for the next 13 years we served alongside our Soldiers and their Families as a chaplain. There, I learned through experience how to work through the stress of multiple transitions, the unyeilding demands for time and energy, and the unjust nature of toxic environments. I learned how to support those who wanted to strengthen themselves and their relationships in these environments and to ultimately be at peace with who they are and who they want to be. As I have matured in my training and become licensed in marriage and family therapy, I have found that I now specialize in using Solution Focused therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help individuals identify their strengths and the beliefs that are guiding their behavior. With this knowledge, people can begin to choose who they want to be.

I love listening to people's stories. And we all have powerful stories shaping our lives. I began my career in social services as an educator and moved into mental health, feeling compelled to address larger systems of wellbeing. I have worked, volunteered and supported schools, universities, hospital systems, crisis centers, and non-profits. These professional and personal experiences have given me a broad scope of practice and intersected with different populations. I was raised between the United States and Mexico and am fluent in Spanish and learning beginning Urdu/Hindi. I identify as a cisgender, straight Latina woman and a person of color with a soul for social justice and decolonizing mental health. I have a deep appreciation for native world views and Eastern spirituality, which will often find their way into my practice. I am also certified to teach yoga and facilitate the art of breathwork and meditation
