Hello, I am Sandra Ventura and I am a Licenced Professional Counselor. I would like you to know that I love the work I do and I'd like to be part of your support system. I know how hard it is to reach out for help when you are going "through it", because I have been there. I am a straight shooter, I don't waste time, and I do not mislead my clients. I don't have a magic pill or a silver bullet to make all your concerns go away. I do have extensive professional experience working with a broad range of problems and seeing people get better. I treat adjustment disorders, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and work-related issues to name a few. I use evidence-based techniques and strategies to get you back on top of your game fast. I work with a wide and diverse population and I am familiar with a broad range of cultures and lifestyles. I am fluent in Spanish. I invite you to consider working with me and take me along on your journey to a better you.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't realizing something needs to change—it's taking that first step. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, explore what's been weighing on you, and discover practical tools that help you move forward with greater confidence and peace. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Mary’s University, both in San Antonio. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have experience supporting children, teens, adults, and couples through life's challenges, with specialized training in grief and trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and have completed advanced training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA). I am also currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders to further support individuals throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.

Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :) I'm an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas. I've been in practice for nearly 15 years and have been doing EMDR therapy for 13 of those. I specialize in helping teens and adults process trauma of all kinds. My goal is to help my clients gain the skills needed to process and adapt to traumatic memories, and then allow them to do so in a safe environment. I teach them how to build boundaries and follow through, and to treat themselves with self-compassion rather than judgment and harsh expectations. Trauma doesn’t have to ruin (or run) your life. If you’re hurting, please know I’d be happy to help in any way I can.

I believe talk therapy is a power tool. It can heal. It can empower. It can bring about the kind of changes you seek. In order for talk therapy to really work, you must feel connected to and trust the therapist you work with so I encourage you to find the right fit. We will start where you are and, together, we will explore new ways of making your life more manageable. To struggle is to be part of the human experience. Struggle can be a motivator for change. My name is Vincent Egbuchulam, and I am a licensed professional counselor with over five years of experience in the mental health field. I address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, teen issues, anger and stress management, life transitions, aggression, and ADHD. In addition, I am a retired board-certified Special Education teacher with 15 years of experience. My counseling approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). CBT involves helping clients learn and practice new skills, develop healthier thinking patterns, and adopt more effective coping strategies. I may assign homework to reinforce the skills we work on during sessions, as I believe that applying these techniques in your daily life enhances their effectiveness. SFBT operates on the principle that individuals are competent and capable of finding solutions to improve their lives. In our sessions, you will have the opportunity to describe your challenges, set personal goals, and provide feedback. Occasionally, I may incorporate other techniques, such as role-playing, if they are beneficial for your progress. I am committed to supporting those who seek to enhance their emotional well-being. During our initial visit, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and outline what you hope to achieve from our sessions. The first session typically lasts about an hour. You can expect a highly professional, objective, nonjudgmental, and confidential experience.

I believe mental health care should be accessible, free from stigma, and viewed as a normal part of living a healthy, balanced life. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe environment where clients feel understood while also being thoughtfully challenged to examine unhelpful patterns, develop new perspectives, and build practical skills for lasting change. I believe that empathy, authenticity, and, when appropriate, humor can foster deeper connection and meaningful therapeutic progress. As a U.S. Army veteran, I bring extensive experience working with individuals and couples navigating stress, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). My areas of specialization include anger management, substance use and behavioral addictions, anxiety, depression, emotional suppression, compulsive sexual behaviors, and recovery. I also enjoy working with couples to strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, rebuild trust, resolve conflict, and cultivate greater intimacy.

I hold sessions in the afternoons and night between 2:30 pm and 2:00 am Central Standard Time. The calendar here does not show sessions after 10 pm. If you would like to meet after 10 pm, please sign up for a session here, using any day/time and then message me though the interface with your needs/wants to schedule at a different time. I have been a therapist since 2015 with experience working with adolescents and adults suffering from trauma, grief, depression and anxiety. I have been honored to help people with a broad spectrum of backgrounds, circumstances and severities of trauma and concerns. Some examples: I have been the trauma specialist at juvenile detention centers, worked at Children's Advocacy Center, worked with those with chronic pain and long-haul covid, worked with those trying to resolve current struggles and wanting help with their mental health. I have a holistic viewpoint and believe in a mind-body-spirit connection of wellness. I believe in being in the moment with you, where you are, and will work at your pace towards your journey of healing and growth and I will help you with setting and working towards goals. Thank you for considering me to be your therapist. I look forward to joining you on your journey.

Hi there! Welcome. My name is Dr. Richards and I have over 16 years of expert training and experience in the field of Education, Counseling & Psychology. I thoroughly enjoy providing mental health services to individuals and their families in need of treatment. Even when you’re feeling hopeless, stressed, or overwhelmed, those moments don’t last forever—they’re part of a season, not your whole story. With the right support, you can move through them. My goal is to help you gain clarity and direction so you can reach your full potential and reconnect with your purpose. Regardless of your past fears, setbacks, or self-doubt, change is always possible! I use Cognitive-Behavioral, DBT-informed, and interpersonal treatment approaches to tailor each session to your individual needs. I also administer screening tools as needed to help better identify symptoms related to depression and anxiety. Together, we’ll build coping strategies that work for you, incorporating techniques such as poetry, music, art, movement, and writing according to your interests and needs. I’ll support you in identifying and working through negative, self-defeating thoughts and patterns that may be holding you back. In a safe, nonjudgmental space, we’ll work through challenges, strengthen self-compassion, and help you move forward with greater confidence and intention. For couples struggling, I help to identify root issues that negatively impact your relationship and incorporate evidence-based resources to start the process of change in a practical, healthy way.
