Let's get started building a new life for you! I can help you reach your therapy goals. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years experience. My specialty is in Trauma Informed therapy, working with clients with symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and abuse. I work with individuals struggling with narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, compassion fatigue, grief or loss, issues with negative self-talk, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, family conflict, stress and life changes. I use an integrative treatment approach tailoring the method of therapy to your individual personality. Now is the time to begin! If you are seeking any kind of emotional healing or inner healing, look no further. I have a personal and deep understanding of the courageous journey you will take with this approach toward healing the wounds of the past. I am patient and kind in the therapeutic relationship. I want you to "come as you are" and feel accepted and free to reveal yourself at your own pace. I know it is difficult sometimes to even know where to start on the healing journey, and I will meet you where you are. I have been described as a joyful person who creates a peaceful and safe space.
In our first session we will begin with brief introductions, then we will discuss the issues that have brought you to therapy. Sometimes it is difficult to share and some like to dive right in. As you reveal your needs at your own pace, we will develop a unique and integrative treatment plan especially for you.

Trauma Informed Care
I have found that identifying the pain of the past and processing the events in a therapeutic setting can bring inner healing of past traumatic events or trauma filled spaces of time in your life. Overtime, I hope we can bring you to a place where you feel safe, confident and centered. I find this method of therapy very effective with clients suffering from anxiety and panic attacks and complex PTSD.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy teaches a client to be in the here and now as well as break away from negative thought patterns that can cause a decline into a mood-disordered state; this therapy can help a person fight off a difficult frame of mind before it takes hold. Learning to identify the critical thought patterns that continue in our minds 24/7 and replacing those thoughts with kind, compassionate and positive self-talk is key to emotional regulation.
Eclectic
I use an eclectic type of psychotherapy tailored to fit the exact needs of the individual seeking treatment. Eclectic therapy is sometimes referred to as multi-modal or integrative therapy as therapists combine a variety of disciplines into one session. I am aware and value the fact that each client is unique and has unique needs in therapy. I am trained in many treatment methods and I draw the most relevant techniques from other evidence-based therapy modalities together for an effective, individualized treatment plan.

After talking to multiple therapists, i felt like I didn't leave with much more than I went in with. Yet after multiple sessions with Nancy, I realized that every single session feels like I've grown, and I have the tools to get through so much more. I definitely believe when people don't come out with more they might not have the right person. After these talks I feel my days have changed exporatically day-to-day in such a wonderful way. I look forward to every talk thank you Nancy !!

I really like that Nancy wants to know anything and everything about my life because I think she will find things in my childhood and my memories and what I know and what I remember was just not ever been done before. The therapy I had before ask me when my problems began and I told them when I thought they began. And they asked well how was your childhood growing up at home and I was like oh it was fine , well it wasn't and that is What I found out today from Nancy!! Thank you!
