I chose to change careers late in life. It has been a wonderful decision. I am able to help people in their daily lives be happy.
I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual.
I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life.
I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live.
Please give me a call and see if we connect and if you feel comfortable and safe speaking with me.

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. During my undergraduate work I had the opportunity to study abroad in Accra, Ghana. After my ungraduate studies, I stayed in Austin for a while to continue working overnight at a shelter for survivors of sexual and domestic violence for women, children, and transgendered women while answering a 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
I went on to attain my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston. I spent two additional years in clinical supervision working in hospitals, crisis mobile mental health, and facilitating groups to attain my independent clinical license. Thereafter, I spent time in clinical practice to build expertise to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor providing individual, family, and group therapy. Most recently I have broadened my scope of practice to include my Chemical Dependency Counseling license and Certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In my free time, I enjoy singing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, film, and television.
I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship distress, and work related stress become the best versions of themselves.
I work alongside my clients to empower them to choose their own future, and find the path to the future within themselves. To empower my clients, I utilize an eclectic approach based on cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and internal family systems.
I received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and have worked in both inpatient and partial hospitalization settings as well as private practice for a total of 5 years. I'm a native Texan but I also lived in Chicago for 8 years before moving back to my home state.

“It’s not the load that breaks us down, but the way we carry it.” — Anonymous
Life can get heavy, even when we’re doing our best to stay strong. But the truth is, we’re not meant to carry it all alone. God invites us to lay our burdens down and trust that He can bring peace, clarity, and renewal where we feel weary or weighed down.
In our work together, we’ll unpack the load you’ve been carrying — exploring the beliefs and thought patterns that may be keeping you stuck — and replace them with truth, hope, and grace. My approach integrates faith, reflection, and evidence-based practices to help you realign your mind and spirit with God’s promises and purpose for your life.
I support adults, couples, families, and groups who are navigating emotional imbalance, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict, anger, and seasons of personal or spiritual growth. My professional background includes experience in the juvenile justice system, battered women’s shelters, psychology, and public education — all of which have deepened my faith in God’s power to heal and restore what’s been broken.
During therapy, I help clients identify their God-given strengths, release unhealthy thought patterns, and develop faith-centered strategies for peace and purpose. Together, we’ll create space for healing that not only transforms your thinking but also strengthens your relationship with God and others.
So, I ask you — are you ready to unpack and let God lighten your load?

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work who serves clients in both Colorado and Texas. I received my masters in social work in 2022 from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I have since been working with clients to develop coping skills, set boundaries, manage relationships, and support through life transitions. My goal is to provide a holistic and client-centered therapeutic experience, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, I aim to empower clients to build resilience, achieve personal growth, and navigate their life's challenges with confidence.
Sometimes we encounter challenging life obstacles and can find ourselves feeling distressed, isolated, or stuck in unhealthy patterns. When these difficulties arise, we may bravely reach out for support and guidance from a counselor. I consider it a privilege to partner with my clients as they deepen self-awareness, achieve new insight, and work toward building the life they desire for themselves. I believe therapy should be about you and what's most important to you. I form a therapeutic alliance with my clients in which we work together on the issues that matter most to them.
Hey there! Are you feeling a little overwhelmed lately? You’re not alone. Maybe you’ve been juggling a million things, second-guessing yourself, or trying to keep everyone else happy while quietly burning out. If that sounds familiar, I see you and I’d love to help.
I work with millennials, professionals and creatives who are ready to stop running on autopilot and start feeling more connected, calm, and confident in their own skin. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, going through a big life transition, struggling with boundaries, or just feeling “off,” we’ll work together to make sense of it and create space for something new.
In our sessions, you can expect compassion, curiosity, and maybe even a little humor when it fits. I use an integrative approach rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT, but I also bring creativity and flexibility into the process because therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are you.
This is your space to breathe, reflect, and grow. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to show up and we’ll take it from there, together.
I’m a therapist who sees and treats you as a unique individual — not just a diagnosis or a checklist of symptoms. My goal is to meet you where you are, walk with you through your journey, and support you in reaching a place where you’re not just surviving, but truly thriving.
I offer therapy grounded in compassion, care, and consistency. I believe in holding space for both grace and accountability — creating a safe environment where you can be honest with yourself, challenge unhelpful patterns, and grow.
Together, we’ll work to identify and confront the distorted thoughts and false beliefs that often fuel anxiety, depression, and disconnection. My deepest desire is to help you break free from cycles that keep you stuck and to support your movement toward healing, clarity, and wholeness.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Masters and Doctorate from the University of North Texas and have been working with clients for 10 years. I help people experiencing a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD symptoms. I am also passionate about helping those struggling with fertility, as well as those struggling in the pre and postpartum periods.
Part of what led me to become a therapist was my own experience of how difficult it can be to find meaningful, accessible support when you need it. Navigating my own mental health journey helped me recognize the importance of having someone who truly listens, understands, and shows up consistently. I became a therapist because I wanted to be that person for others, to help ensure people don’t feel alone or unsupported when they’re seeking help. Throughout my life, a wide range of personal and professional experiences have shaped who I am today and strengthened my ability to genuinely connect with others.
I worked in a community mental health agency, where I gained extensive experience across multiple areas of mental health. Although the work was demanding, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve individuals in various capacities and settings. That experience helped shape my clinical foundation and reinforced my commitment to this field. Along the way, I have learned to embrace my own neurodivergence and mental health experiences and use them as sources of insight, self-awareness, and strength.
I am a mother of three children, and my experiences as a parent have deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, advocacy, and emotional complexity. My oldest child is also neurodivergent and lives with complex congenital heart disease, which has required multiple heart surgeries. These experiences, along with navigating remarriage and a second journey through IVF, have given me a profound appreciation for uncertainty, grief, hope, and perseverance. They have also strengthened my capacity to sit with others through difficult, vulnerable, and emotionally layered experiences. I share this to give you a sense of who I am and how I approach therapy, and to reflect the values of presence, compassion, and authenticity that guide my work with clients.
Hey there! Do you find yourself feeling anxious, sad, frustrated, or having trouble coping with life transitions? That’s where I come in! I'm a LCSW based in Dallas, Texas. During the day I work in hospice care and when I’m not working I enjoy advocating for my fellow zebras, knitting, reading, and volunteering at UNT.
Do you feel disconnected from your relationships and unsure of where to turn? Are you someone who is living with hurts from your past? Are you a parent searching for a better way to connect with your child? Or, maybe you are a teen who can't seem to figure out how you fit into your world.

I’ve known since I was nine years old that I wanted to become a therapist—it has always been my lifelong dream. My journey began in a community mental health facility, where I gained valuable experience working with major mental illnesses and teaching practical skills. That foundation shaped me into a therapist who empowers clients to help themselves and build stronger, more meaningful connections with others.
Outside of my work, I enjoy gardening, crocheting, camping, and spending time with my pug. I’m also an avid reader, especially of romance novels. Family is a big part of who I am—I’m a wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and proud parent of both boys and girls, including twins. These diverse life experiences give me a unique perspective and help me relate to clients on many different levels.
