I have a passion for working with moms, women, and adolescent girls who are needing help to improve their mental health and overall life enjoyment. Couples, families, and other individuals can also receive services for improving mental health and relationships. Personally, I am also a wife, animal lover, and new mommy to my baby boy, Maverick.

I specialize in working with moms, women, and adolescent girls who are struggling with feeling confident and valued in their home, school or work, and relationships and who are struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, and more!

I enjoy collaborating with clients to find solutions and make healthy progress towards goals and healing. Watching clients improve and grow is my passion!

First session

Clients can expect a warm and inviting first session where rapport and trust are built and established. The theories and techniques I use during treatment will be tailored to your needs and will be unique to your circumstances.

Strengths

I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from young children and adolescents to adults and older adults, as well as couples and families. My clinical experience includes supporting clients with a wide range of needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, relationship and family concerns, and neurodiversity, including individuals on the autism spectrum. I strive to provide a supportive, collaborative, and individualized approach to therapy that meets each client where they are and helps them work toward meaningful growth and change.

Ideal clients

The main issues I can help you with are grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues including all of the symptoms that come along with these struggles. While I truly love working with clients from all walks of life, my heart and passion lie in supporting women, moms, and teen girls. Creating a safe, empowering space for them to feel heard, supported, and confident in who they are is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do!

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts affect their feelings and behaviors. Together, we work on changing negative thought patterns, building healthy coping skills, and creating positive changes in everyday life.

Faith-based therapy

I incorporate faith-based therapy by combining biblical principles and spiritual guidance with evidence-based counseling techniques. I help clients strengthen their faith, find peace, and navigate life’s challenges while honoring their personal beliefs and values.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process difficult or traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Together, we work on managing difficult emotions, changing negative thought patterns, and developing healthy coping skills to promote healing and growth.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe every client is unique, and I work alongside them at their own pace to encourage personal growth, self-discovery, and healing.

Gottman method

I use the Gottman Method to help couples strengthen their relationships by improving communication, building trust, and creating deeper emotional connections. Together, we work on managing conflict in healthy ways, understanding each other’s needs, and building a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.
