I am committed to guiding you through life's challenges. I enjoy creating a therapeutic space without judgment and I utilize a conversation-based method to build therapeutic rapport. As a licensed psychotherapist, I believe in prioritizing mental health is the key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest past. You don’t have to be in a crisis to meet with me, and for us to talk, I am here to tell you it's never too late to make changes in your life that will ultimately fulfill you and define your happiness. When you decide to come into my office, I will make you feel safe, welcomed, and most importantly, heard.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Pennsylvania. I have experience working in the field of mental health and behavioral health since 2003. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, addiction issues, and other mental health/behavioral health issues. I also helped people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
I consider myself an eclectic psychotherapist. I believe that no one individual is the same as another, therefore treatment should be personalized. Based on where the individual is at and their goals for life and goals for therapy will determine what technique I will use. Techniques may change from session to session. Some techniques I use include, but not limited to, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Reality Therapy.
People seek therapy for a variety of reasons and seek therapy at different stages in their lives. My therapeutic approach begins with meeting the individual where he/she is currently. Each person and their situation are unique which is why I am a strong believer that person centered is the best approach as therapy is not one size fits all.
I value developing a therapeutic relationship with each individual that I provide services. My goal is to allow the individual to feel comfortable in each session as a result of me offering respect and empathy, being able to accept, and being genuine and authentic. In return I ask that each person is committed to the process and honest throughout.
Taking the steps to seek therapy is the first step to seeking change. If you’re ready to take that step, I am here to guide and support you.

With close to 20 years of experience working for the Philadelphia Courts system and a background in communications prior to obtaining my Masters in Counseling Psychology, I excel at finding communicable common ground between individuals. I incorporate multiple treatment modalities in order to find the perfect combination of techniques in order to facilitate positive change in my clients' lives. My personal and professional philosophy is "Life is simple, people complicate it". Let's make things simple again.
I am Donna Orsatti, PsyD, LPC, and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor in PA. I also hold a Certificate of Competency in Problem Gambling from the state of Pennsylvania. I am the founder of Courage 2 Change Counseling, a private practice dedicated to supporting individuals through healing, growth, and meaningful transformation.
I specialize in working with substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and gambling-related challenges. My approach is collaborative and client-centered—I believe therapy works best when we walk alongside each other, with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your lived experience.
Reaching out for support takes courage. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, build insight, and move toward the changes you want in your life. You don’t have to do it alone.
I've always believed that most people aren't broken, they're stuck. And stuck is something we can work with. For 15 years I have worked with a wide range of people: veterans carrying wounds that never got proper attention, couples trying to find their way to a healthier relationship, individuals wrestling with OCD or trauma or habits they can't seem to shake, and families navigating transitions that turned their world upside down.
I tend to be direct yet compassionate in the way approach therapy and to what my clients are dealing with. The best complement for me is when a client tells me how they felt seen and heard unlike they have had previously.
I have a particular place in my heart for those living between worlds - racial minorities, expats, and members of immigrant communities who are navigating the push and pull of various socio-cultural forces. I understand that experience from the inside, not just from a textbook.
If you are someone who is ready to engage honestly and wants a clinician who will meet you with both expertise and genuine care, please reach out.
I started this career after raising my children so I have the advantage of wisdom. Life has not always been kind to me but this allows me to relate to so many clients. I have been through much adversity and I feel the most fulfilled when I am helping others. I am kind, non judgmental, and follow Carl Roger's unconditional positive regard.

I help adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-confidence, self-compassion, anger management and gender dysphoria. I am passionate serving the LGBTQ population. Hello! I'm so glad you took the time to check out my page. Let me start by introducing myself a bit more. I am a compassionate and experienced therapist who specializes in supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum challenges, and life transitions.
With a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, I help clients move through difficult symptoms with clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. I strive to offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered to heal and grow. Whether navigating a period of uncertainty or carrying the weight of longstanding emotional pain, clients often describe me as deeply attuned, grounding, and gently encouraging with a mix of humor.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I find fulfillment and balance in my personal life through fostering animals and sharing my home with several beloved pets. I'm a passionate DIY enthusiast who enjoys creating things with her hands—whether it's a new home project or a handmade gift. A lover of the outdoors, I spend my free time hiking, gardening, or simply soaking in the peace of nature. These personal joys enrich my therapeutic work, reminding me of the importance of connection, creativity, and the healing power of slowing down.
Being unhappy can take you by surprise. Sometimes the cause of it seems clear, like a sudden break up or the death of someone close to you. Other times it’s harder to say. You might be in a relationship that no longer feels the way it once did. You may have moved to a new place or started a new job and find yourself unsettled. Or you may feel that everything is “going well,” yet still, for whatever reason, you just aren’t happy. If any of this sounds like you, I can help.I specialize in treating adults struggling with life transitions, dating and relationship problems, adhd and other neurodivergent experiences, and depression and loneliness. My background and style are in client centered, psychodynamic therapy, in which I can help you to work through both the imminent problems that brought you to therapy, as well as the sometimes more deeply hidden problems that precede and inform these present day problems. I have a decade of experience working in a number of clinical settings, and prior to that have a background in the humanities and philosophy. My own experience working through both psychological and philosophical questions informs my work with clients. I believe that therapy can be a great place to really work through your thoughts about your life, with the benefit of an outside participant who can listen with openness and curiosity.
"The best way out is always through." - Robert Frost
I'm an LCSW with 20 years of experience helping people through hard things. I've spent my career in community mental health, primarily working with children impacted by trauma and the caregivers who love them.
Through telehealth, I am open to working with both teens and adults. I have a deep understanding of trauma, including foster care and adoption. I also understand the challenges that come from raising children who are neurodiverse and/or display trauma-based behaviors. I love working with adults who have parenting struggles or need support around managing challenging behaviors. I also love working with teens and adults struggling with anxiety and/or depression.
I received my Masters in Social Service at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research with a specialization in child and family well-being in 2006. I'm a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and am licensed in both Pennsylvania and Florida.
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!
It’s really nice to meet you. I’m a licensed professional counselor, and I’ve spent years helping people work through tough emotions like trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I also have a special focus on supporting those who’ve faced emotional challenges because of their work or have been affected by toxic environments that impact both mental and physical health. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to about what’s going on, I’m here for you. Whether it's letting go of past struggles, managing stress, or figuring out how to navigate a tough time, we can work together to make sense of it all.
My approach is interactive, collaboration and compassion. We’ll work at your pace to uncover patterns, explore new perspectives, and develop strategies that align with your values and vision for the future. Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns, and things don’t always go as planned. But no matter where you’re at or how things have unfolded, you don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to help you find a way through.
I can help find relief and lasting change. This begins with the very useful concept of two simultaneous paths when struggling in life...
1- How can clients ADDRESS, or take action to remedy or lessen, the sources of their struggles?
2- How clients COPE in effective healthy ways?
Addressing and coping are central in my work, and clients find this CBT approach to be highly valuable and effective.
I am an equity and justice-focused therapist whose approach to therapy centers connection and empathy. From a humanistic-existential perspective, I view therapy as a partnership where clients are supported in embracing their inner strengths, achieving their desired goals, and developing coping skills and strategies to lead meaningful and authentic lives. I strive to meet you where you are and honor the diversity of your lived experience.
You are the expert of your life. I aim to provide compassion, guidance, and a nonjudgmental, caring space for you to share your unique experiences, express your feelings, and build greater self-awareness and self-esteem. In therapy, we’ll work to address stressors and challenges and integrate meaningful changes into your daily life. In building capacity for self-exploration, emotional awareness, and resilience, we can enhance our relationships with ourselves and others, promoting a greater sense of well-being.
I am Jeff, like it says on this page. I love games of all kinds and dogs of all kinds. I sit crosslegged on chairs when I can and enjoy kneading dough for baking. I'm verbose and use words as if they were legos.
I have worked in hospitals, community mental health centers, a retirement home and now I am content to be in private practice. I have experience with crises, sudden life transitions and choices that seem impossible to come back from.
I'm familiar with being awkward and have experience being the outcast. I became a therapist because there were many times earlier in my life where I needed support and guidance from someone who could understand me without being judgmental or controlling. Being a strange enough person already, I never quite found someone empathetic towards my situation until meeting my first therapist - a literally life changing experience.
Even with almost 10 years as a therapist, I'm certainly not claiming that I'll change your life as a guarantee just because of who I am - a therapist helped me see that so much change came about by my own efforts over the years, change that you can also be empowered to pursue. I am the sort of person that will work in your interest, work for your health when it feels like illness gets in the way. If you happen to be someone or know someone that often puts others before themselves at the expense of wants and needs for themselves, then you may know me pretty well already.
Transparently, I am not using AI in any form to write anything you read here about myself or my methods.
Hi there! I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania, and I have worked in the mental health field since 2005. I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have worked with a wide range of clients from adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and communication difficulties.
My work is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered to reclaim their stories. I draw from narrative, attachment-based, and experiential approaches to support clients in understanding patterns, processing difficult experiences, and building more secure, fulfilling relationships. My style is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s resilience, identity, and capacity for growth.
I am an empathic, supportive therapist who utilizes therapeutic tools to empower my clients to build a life they love, deepen their relationships and create a supportive community.
Many of my clients are women who identify as Black or Latino with a history of taking care of others even if it comes at their expense. I support women through all the life cycles from early adulthood to retirement age.
Therapy requires a commitment of time and financial resources. I start out seeing my clients once per week. If you are unable to make the time commitment, I am likely not the best match for your needs.
I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.

My approach is eclectic and client-centered, grounded in the belief that each individual processes and learns differently—so therapy should reflect that. Whether short-term or long-term, I’m here to support you in gaining new insight, building confidence, and moving forward in your life and relationships.
I have worked in an inpatient behavioral health center for the last 15 years which has provided me a great opportunity to gain experience with most of the reasons why someone would seek therapy. I prefer to not take the role of the "expert" in therapy and feel it is important to have a collaborative approach. That doesn't mean that I won't challenge you or point out maladaptive behavioral patterns/thought processes. I pride myself on being personal and authentic while keeping the focus on you.
I am honored to work beside persons seeking support with their personal growth and in creating hope-filled futures. I have been providing individual therapy services for over 30 years and working as a licensed psychologist since 2013. I specialize in treating substance use disorders and a range of emotional dysregulation concerns often associated with addictions, including anger management, impulsivity, anxiety, depression, and grief/loss.

Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been practicing in Pennsylvania for 4 years. I provide a calming and relaxed approach to therapy centered around validation and acceptance of your experience that can allow for a better understanding of what you can and cannot control in your life. From this perspective, we can better understand how to approach any difficulties that occur in your life.
Do you need guidance in finding happiness and fulfillment in your life?
Do you need someone who can help find your strengths?
Are you having trouble achieving healthy relationships because of childhood wounds, traumatic experiences or low self esteem?
I believe that your past experience made you who you are today. What happened to you will always be a part of you, but it should not define you. I'm here to help you process your past and together we will plan your future.
Don't leave yourself alone with your suffering. Let's work together to find meaningful purpose in your life's turmoil.
Emotional and psychological traumas happen to everyone. It can be caused by a one time event, ongoing relentless stress or commonly overlooked events such as work, death, break-up/divorce, surgery, humiliating experience or childhood attachment wounds. Working through trauma alone is daunting, lonely, re-traumatizing. A trauma specialist can help with your healing.
If you're constantly trying to balance work, family, school, relationships, and everything in between, it can feel like there's never enough time—or energy—for yourself. You may look like you have everything together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or stuck. Sometimes, even when you know you need support, finding the time to prioritize your own well-being can feel like one more thing on an already overwhelming list.
Welcome all, my name is Jennifer.
Have you found yourself feeling fatigued, stressed and/or overwhelmed? Are you feeling conflicted and/or confused? Struggling with adapting to a recent change or making some tough but necessary decisions? Do you sometimes feel lost, alone, rejected, betrayed or brokenhearted? Find yourself stuck in the past, trapped in the present or worried about the future?
If you answered yes to any of the questions listed above, there is hope. I am excited and professionally equipped to walk alongside you as you begin or continue your healing journey. Asking for and/or accepting help is no easy task. It takes much courage to work through the mental and/or emotional challenges we sometimes face. Through the use of narrative therapy, and cognitive and solution-focused techniques, I work to see my clients experience an improved quality of life, relief of stressors, increased motivation and hope. Grow through what you go through, but you don't have to do it alone. I offer confidential, compassionate, and honest care. Let's work on your mental wellness to get you closer to the freedom you deserve.

Fulfilling our potential is a lifelong journey of becoming more at peace with ourselves, deepening the intimacy in our relationships, being more authentically human, and feeling more alive each day. Along the way, certain challenges arise to cause us distress or confusion. Such moments can make us feel held back, afraid, or unsure of where to go from here. But these moments can also be the points of growth and healing from which we renew ourselves in ways we did not think possible.
It is a great privilege helping men and women in their search to improve their relationship with themselves and others, to lessen the burden of emotional pain, to experience freedom from addictions, or to embark on new life challenges - to find the hope and courage needed to take those important next steps.

“My style of therapy draws from Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment therapy/mindfulness. My passion is for learning your story and working alongside you to find the solutions that work for you. I’m here to help you examine what you’ve already lived through and find the path forward. In my work with people with trauma I’ve learned that we often need the reminder – no matter what you have struggled with; you are a survivor and that needs to be brought to light. Keeping that in mind, I am guided by the client towards the goals that they feel are necessary for their treatment.”
