Hi, I’m a therapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for individuals navigating complex life challenges whether that’s living with chronic illness, managing mental health or seeking deeper emotional healing. I specialize in working with people who often feel unseen or overwhelmed. I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach that honors both emotional and spiritual growth. My goal is to help you feel empowered, understood, and equipped with the tools to thrive not just survive. Together, we can work toward healing, clarity, and meaningful change in your life. Self pay sessions are $125. Couples $150 , which are self pay only.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we begin building a foundation of trust. I’ll ask questions to get to know your story, challenges, and what led you to therapy while also giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll talk about what you hope to get out of therapy, and I’ll explain how I work so you feel comfortable moving forward. Most importantly, my goal is to make sure you feel seen, supported, and safe as we begin this journey together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to hold space with deep empathy, honesty, and intention. I don’t just listen, I truly see people. My lived experience navigating chronic illness, motherhood, and personal transformation allows me to connect with clients in a way that’s authentic and grounded. I understand what it means to show up even when life feels heavy, and I bring that same compassion and resilience into every session. To learn more visit my website www.purpleelephantcollective.com

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to explore their inner world and take steps toward healing, even if the path feels uncertain. Many are navigating life with chronic illnesses, stress, anxiety, or unresolved trauma, and are looking for a therapist who truly sees them. They may feel overwhelmed, spiritually disconnected, or emotionally drained and they’re seeking a space where they can be honest, vulnerable, and supported. Whether you’re trying to make sense of your story or reclaim your sense of self, I’m here to walk with you at your pace.

My treatment methods

Faith based therapy

I offer faith based therapy that integrates spiritual beliefs into the healing process. I create space for prayer, scripture and spiritual reflection to support emotional and mental wellness. Your faith can be a source of strength and guidance and I honor it as we explore lifes challenges together

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In our work together, I focus on creating a safe supportive space where you truly feel seen, heard and accepted. I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy, honesty, and unconditional positive regard. This approach helps you explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, build self-trust and tap into your natual ability to grow and heal.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a structured, time-limited, and goal-oriented modality that focuses on the interconnection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize CBT techniques to assist clients in identifying cognitive distortions, developing more adaptive thought patterns, and enhancing emotional regulation and behavioral activation.

Trauma Informed Care

Rooted in an understanding of the neurobiological, psychological, and relational impacts of trauma, trauma-informed care emphasizes safety, trustworthiness, collaboration, empowerment, and cultural sensitivity. I apply a trauma informed lens to all interventions, ensuring that care is attuned to the needs of individuals with a history of acute, chronic, or complex trauma.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy involves a clinical process that supports individuals through the psychological, emotional, and somatic responses to loss. I provide a supportive therapeutic alliance that facilitates mourning, meaning-making, and the integration of loss, while addressing any manifestations of complicated or prolonged grief.
