Hello, I am a licensed professional counselor and a board certified art therapist. I have been practicing for just over seven years and I received my masters degree in art therapy from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. I help clients with various needs such as anxiety, life transitions, ADHD, relationships, communication and coping skills to help become the best versions of themselves. I started my journey at KidsPeace Children's Hospital as an art therapist for a couple years, running group and individual therapy sessions. After KidsPeace I transitioned to St. Luke's Hospital in Quakertown as a therapist running group therapy sessions. Talk therapy is the most common method of therapy on this platform, but be aware that if you do have any interest in art therapy, we can certainly incorporate that into our work together whether that be during our sessions or for homework. The choice is yours!
Hello and welcome to Grow Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have worked in the mental health field since 1998. First, with my bachelors degree and later doing clinical work after earning my master's degree.
I believe taking care of our mental health should be as accepted and routine as taking care of our physical health.
Therapy can help us to be the best versions of ourselves.
Life is a beautiful mess. Sometimes everything seems to be going our way. And other times, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, and off balance. I would like to offer guidance and support as you navigate those ups and downs.
Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I received my Masters Degree from Lock Haven University. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families of all ages. I began my career working with children and families and now I work with all ages. I am a counselor, advocate, coach, and motivator.
Have you been feeling overwhelmed lately? Have you been feeling depressed and isolated? Are you struggling with worry and fears? Are you finally ready to take that step and talk with someone? I understand how meeting with a therapist for the first time can feel scary and overwhelming. I work very hard to provide a safe space where clients can feel free to openly talk about what they are struggling with. I have been working with clients for 22 years to help them identify their goals and figure out what they need to move forward and experience a happier, more fulfilling life.
My name is Kim Ring and I have had the opportunity to work in many different settings in the mental health field, such as outpatient, inpatient, drug and alcohol rehabs, and home-based work. Because of my vast experience I have worked with many types of clients where I have gained invaluable experience. I have worked with clients struggling with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, life adjustment issues, grief and loss and parenting issues. I have had clients tell me they like my approach because I am genuine and direct. I believe that in order to help clients we need to put a mirror to them and be honest about what might be holding them back. Sometimes people just need support and someone to help them navigate a difficult time. I look forward to meeting you.

Hi, I’m Lesley. I am a licensed therapist providing therapy to adults in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
I often see people struggling with what I call “reality gaps”, which is the space between the life you have and the life you want. The wider that gap feels, the more distress tends to grow.
I have over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents facing chronic depression, anxiety, attachment concerns, and relational conflict.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) credentialed professional with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, particularly in the areas of trauma, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and major life transitions. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and evidence-driven, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based strategies, and positive psychology to foster growth and resilience. I create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges, develop coping skills, and build a fulfilling life on their own terms.

Being a Licensed Professional Counselor is a passion of mine as well as a career. I am committed to creating a genuine, authentic therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. With experience across a wide range of clinical settings and diverse populations, I’ve learned that a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most powerful tools for meaningful change. Drawing from a variety of evidence-based treatments, I tailor each treatment plan to the unique needs and goals of every client. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we are able to show up as our true selves.

Hi, I’m Erica, a therapist in the Philadelphia area who believes healing is rarely neat, linear, or Instagram-perfect. My approach blends evidence-based tools with an honest appreciation for how complicated, funny, painful, and beautiful being human can be.
My approach combines evidence based tools with curiosity, compassion, humor, and a genuine interest in understanding what makes you, well, you. I work with people who want to understand themselves better, break patterns that are no longer serving them, work through difficult experiences, or simply feel a little more comfortable in their own lives.
I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest. You don’t have to have the right words, know exactly what you need, or come in with everything figured out. You can show up messy, overwhelmed, frustrated, guarded, or completely unsure of where to start. We can figure it out together.
As someone who lives with a disability, I also know that resilience is a word that gets thrown around pretty casually. I understand what it means to build a life around limitations you didn’t choose while still wanting a life that feels full, meaningful, and genuinely yours. I bring that lived experience into my work, not because I think it means I understand everyone’s experience, but because I know what it feels like to keep going when things are heavy.
At the end of the day, I’m a therapist, but I’m also a real person. I won’t pretend to have all the answers or expect you to have yours. My job is to meet you where you are, help you understand what’s happening underneath the surface, and give you some tools to make things feel a little more manageable.
Hello! I’m Sheena Thomas, a licensed mental health clinician with over 15 years of experience in the Behavioral Health field. So, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized education and training in trauma-informed care. I believe most human suffering stems from the stress and trauma of existing within oppressive societal systems that seek to disconnect us from ourselves and others. I am deeply committed to examining, dismantling, and providing space to heal from these destructive systems. The therapeutic relationship should offer a safe environment to process chronic stress and trauma, explore the survival strategies you have developed, and build new skills that serve your present life. I am particularly interested in the mind-body connection—specifically regarding chronic stress and the nervous system—and I continually integrate somatic practices into my work with clients.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand how crucial it can be to find a therapist who understands the unique experience of navigating a heteronormative world. I have experience working in gender-affirming and HIV+ healthcare settings with trans, non-binary, gay, lesbian, and queer clients. I am dedicated to providing intersectional care across race, class, gender, religion, ethnicity, age, disability status, and all other identities. This means I will always consider how your various identities interact and influence how you move through and are treated in this world.
If you are interested in a free 15-minute phone consultation, please schedule your first session with at least a week's notice so that we have time to connect. I will reach out prior to the scheduled appointment. I offer sliding scale (for private-pay clients) and weekend time slots on an as-needed basis, which we can discuss during the phone consultation.
As a second-career social worker, I bring both professional experience and real-world perspective into the therapy space. My background includes working as an Older Adult Protective Services Investigator, a Home Health Care Social Worker, a mentor to college-aged individuals, and currently supporting Veterans experiencing homelessness who are navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, trauma, and substance use.
I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. Outside of work, I enjoy playing music, spending time with family and friends, and being in nature. I value practices that help people reconnect with themselves, find balance, and build resilience in ways that feel authentic and sustainable for them.

Hi! I'm Heather, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers virtual sessions in the state of Pennsylvania. I am passionate about mental health, self-care and helping individuals recognize their own strengths. As an empathetic clinician, I believe that everyone deserves to feel safe and supported. My therapeutic approach is rooted in strength based, trauma informed practices, helping individuals find the confidence to navigate life's challenges.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PA & WV) with 10 years of experience in outpatient mental health. I specialize in supporting individuals — both adolescents and adults — navigating the aftermath of trauma, loss, adoption/foster care challenges, grief, anxiety, and depression. With children and teens, I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF‑CBT), integrating trauma‑informed strategies tailored to younger clients. With adults, I use trauma-informed interventions alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adapting my approach to each person’s unique story, strengths, and pace.
Being adopted myself has deeply shaped my passion for adoption and foster care work — not just as a professional interest, but from lived experience. I understand the layers of identity, connection, loss, and belonging that come with these journeys, and I bring that insight to my practice with empathy and sensitivity.
I also maintain ongoing training in areas such as grief work, anxiety, depression, and relational dynamics to ensure I’m bringing current practices to our work.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Dr. Carl Rogers
My own ADHD diagnosis at age 30 was life altering, and continues to fuel my compassion for clients struggling to figure themselves out.
I also love empowering clients to strengthen their relationships, have more empathy for themselves and others, and discover what calm contentment means to them and how to achieve it.
I am a licensed therapist with 8 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a person-centered approach to help form a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable opening up. I like to consider my approach to therapy eclectic. Each person has different needs and what works for one does not work for all. I like to be creative with each of my clients and find the treatment modality that will work best for them and their situation. I personally have struggled with my own anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child. This is what led me to want to be a therapist to help others.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) with over five years of experience supporting people through cancer, serious illness, grief, and loss. As a two-time breast cancer survivor myself, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to this work, not because I have all the answers, but because I know that no two experiences are the same.
If you're facing a cancer diagnosis, navigating life after treatment, living with chronic illness or chronic pain, grieving a loss, or caring for someone seriously ill, you don't have to carry that alone. I work with family caregivers as well as the nurses and healthcare professionals who carry this work every day. My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply human, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and families create healthier relationships, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Ecosystemic Family Structural Therapy (EFST) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but meaningful change is possible. I look forward to supporting you and your family on that journey.
Hi there,
I’m Elizabeth, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with teens and adults. I’m passionate about helping people navigate challenges, break through patterns that keep them feeling stuck, and create meaningful change. Through our work together, we will explore the thoughts and feelings that may be holding you back, build on your strengths, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Rather than trying to push away or change difficult thoughts and feelings, we will work together to help you develop a different relationship with them, so they feel more manageable and less able to hold you back from living a life that feels meaningful to you.
Hi, I'm Dr. Ryan Buhite. I'm a "down-to-earth" person who enjoys getting to know people and what will help them succeed. I am passionate about helping others grow, change, and reach their full potential. I believe the therapeutic alliance with my clients is a critical component of the treatment process. I work alongside my clients to help them get through life’s challenges, such as major life changes, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I customize science-based interventions for my clients' situations that make positive changes in thier lives. I received my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from Wright State University in 2007 and have been Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Psychology since 2014. Following graduate school, I served in the United States Air Force as a clinical psychologist, treating clients, consulting with leadership, and training young clinicians. In the Air Force, I received extensive training from nationally recognized experts in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma so I could be effective in treating our nation's service men and women. I hold a Master of Arts Degree from Edinboro University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been in practice for the past eight years in a variety of settings. These settings include working for a hospital at their inpatient hospital-based twelve-step drug and alcohol unit/program. In addition, I have had the oppurtinorty to work in public schools as a school-based counselor covering six schools working with students in grades k-12, Other areas of practice experience include working with individuals, groups, families, couples, children, teens, young adults, adults, and older adults. I am an experienced therapist, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania since 2018. I have a passion for working with people from all different backgrounds, cultures, lifestyles, and ethnicity. I remain open-minded to whatever the client's needs are and tailor therapy techniques and approaches to best fit the client's needs. While meeting with each client, I try to imagine what it must be like to be this person and to experience all of the things they have gone through and are going through. I find myself able to connect with each one of my clients on a personal level to give every individual the same respect, dignity, understanding, empathy, compassion, and time, a person deserves while actively listening to what the client is saying verbally and non-verbally. I am always learning new information, and therapy techniques, and growing my skills while increasing my abilities and knowledge in the mental health field and applying this knowledge to my everyday practice. Each of my clients teaches me something new and in turn, I utilize this knowledge gained to grow both personally, spiritually, and professionally and enrich myself as a therapist.
I recognize it takes courage to engage in the process of therapy. I appreciate your motivation and will work respectfully with you to create a positive, collaborative, therapeutic relationship. In our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand what's brought you to therapy and what your're hoping will feel different. From there, I'll share tools you can practice between sessions, but we'll always move at a pace that feels right to you. I work especially well with clients who are ready to show up and do the work. If you're looking for a therapist who brings warmth, humor, and a genuine investment in your growth, I'd love to be part of your journey.
I am a full-time school counselor, but work part-time as a therapist. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I worked in the mental health field for over 15 years in multiple roles. I enjoy helping adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns to identify strategies that allow them to manage and/or overcome these concerns. I tend to use an eclectic mix of person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy when working with clients. I also have been trained in mindfulness to assist my clients.
I also understand the difficulties one might face related to the current societal climate as it relates to LGBTQ+ population and race. I believe it is important for clients to have a safe space to share
the microaggressions, discrimination, and/or hate that one may face. I believe that I can be that safe space for all individuals.
In my free-time, I am enjoy spending time with my family. During this time, we like to do things outdoors, such as playing pickleball, hiking, paddleboarding, or just relaxing.
