About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience across behavioral health, creative spaces, and supervision. My approach is solution-focused, collaborative, and rooted in equity, inclusion, and representation. Whether I’m working with individuals, groups, or future therapists, I focus on helping people make sense of life’s messiness and build strategies that actually feel sustainable and true to who they are. Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, and expressive—someone who makes space for the whole you, not just the version that’s holding it all together. I bring a multicultural lens and a background in storytelling and digital strategy, which helps me connect how we move through the world—emotionally, mentally, and creatively. If you’re navigating transition, burnout, relationship shifts, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to walk alongside you as you move forward with clarity, intention, and care.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You can expect a thoughtful, collaborative conversation where we explore what’s bringing you in, what’s been feeling stuck or heavy, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. I’ll ask some guiding questions based on your intake—things like your support system, current stressors, personal history, and goals—but we’ll move at your pace. You don’t have to have all the answers; this is about getting to know each other. By the end of the session, we’ll talk through next steps and start shaping a plan that feels realistic, flexible, and centered around you—not just any problems. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and a little more clear about what’s possible.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a calm, attentive presence and a collaborative style that helps clients feel truly seen and understood. My greatest strengths lie in blending structured, solution-focused approaches with flexibility and creativity, meeting each person where they are. I excel at helping clients clarify goals, navigate complex emotions, and build practical strategies that feel sustainable and authentic. I hope to create space for the whole person—their thoughts, feelings, and experiences—while guiding them toward insight, clarity, and actionable growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are open, curious, and willing to engage in honest conversation—even when it’s uncomfortable. You don’t have to have the perfect words, but a willingness to show up, communicate, and take ownership of your process goes a long way. I’m typically working with people navigating change—whether it’s internal (identity, mindset, emotions) or external (relationships, career, life transitions). If you’re someone who values growth, wants to feel more grounded, and is looking for support that’s both thoughtful and practical, we’ll likely be a good fit.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I chose Solution-Focused Brief Therapy because it centers what’s working rather than staying stuck in what’s not. It’s rooted in the belief that you already hold strengths, tools, and moments of resilience—my job is to help you recognize them, build on them, and move forward with intention. I’m drawn to this approach because it’s collaborative, hopeful, and grounded in the present. It doesn’t ignore the past, but it doesn’t live there either. It’s about creating change by focusing on what’s possible, even in small, meaningful steps.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

While SFBT helps clients identify what's working and move toward goals, CBT supports that process by helping unpack the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns that can get in the way. I use CBT to gently challenge unhelpful thinking, increase emotional awareness, and build practical tools for change. It works well with solution-focused work because together, they empower clients to recognize both their strengths and their blind spots—giving them more control, clarity, and momentum in their lives.
