I’m Dr. Terry Matz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience serving military Veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. As both a former Army Behavioral Health Officer and seasoned civilian therapist, I specialize in treating trauma, PTSD, depression, and life transitions using evidence-based therapies like CBT and supportive approaches. I aim to provide a compassionate, culturally competent space where healing, growth, and resilience are possible.
Clients my training and background would most benefit are those experiencing difficulty in their relationships with their children, parents, spouses, co-workers or other significant people in their lives; those whose anxiety or depression is holding them back, and those who are willing to work to reach their true potential.
I earned my MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago concentrating in mental health and have helped people in complicated and difficult situations ever since.

My Background
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with certification in Secondary School Counseling, and later earned certification in Elementary School Counseling from Immaculata University. I am a Licensed Behavior Specialist and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward growth, healing, and resilience.
Welcome. Taking the step to seek support is not always easy, and I’m glad you’re here.
As a licensed counselor, I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma and navigate the challenges of depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Additionally, I am well versed in helping others establish healthy relationships. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to your unique experiences and goals.
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, creating space for more balanced and empowering perspectives. At the same time, I incorporate principles like radical acceptance to support you in making peace with what cannot be changed, while still moving forward in meaningful ways.
Because trauma is not only something we think about—but something we carry—I also integrate body-based (psychosomatic) approaches. These techniques help you reconnect with your body, process stored stress or trauma, and build a greater sense of safety and regulation from within.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change. You don’t have to do this alone—healing is possible, and I’m here to walk alongside you.

Previous experience has included but is not limited to assisting clients with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational conflict, and adjustment to major life changes.
Ciara’s primary therapeutic approach includes the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Solution-Focused Therapy, but she will frequently utilize different therapeutic approaches to best serve clients and their presenting needs. Ciara uses the 7 dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, and occupational) to help clients identify their needs and assists them in creating goals that will empower them to bring about significant positive life changes.
Ciara’s therapeutic style is focused on engaging in active listening and providing empathy as well as a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients to share their concerns. Ciara’s goals are: to help clients understand their feelings, discuss psychosocial factors that have contributed to their wellness and mental health, and explore their options for addressing their presenting problems, including discussing the potential outcomes of their choices.

I have been practicing for just over seven years and I received my masters degree in art therapy from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. I help clients with various needs such as anxiety, life transitions, ADHD, relationships, communication and coping skills to help become the best versions of themselves. Therapy can help us to be the best versions of ourselves.
Life is a beautiful mess. Sometimes everything seems to be going our way. And other times, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, and off balance. I would like to offer guidance and support as you navigate those ups and downs.

Being a Licensed Professional Counselor is a passion of mine as well as a career. I am committed to creating a genuine, authentic therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. With experience across a wide range of clinical settings and diverse populations, I’ve learned that a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most powerful tools for meaningful change. Drawing from a variety of evidence-based treatments, I tailor each treatment plan to the unique needs and goals of every client. Hi, I’m Erica, a therapist in the Philadelphia area who believes healing is rarely neat, linear, or Instagram-perfect. My approach blends evidence-based tools with an honest appreciation for how complicated, funny, painful, and beautiful being human can be.
My approach combines evidence based tools with curiosity, compassion, humor, and a genuine interest in understanding what makes you, well, you. I work with people who want to understand themselves better, break patterns that are no longer serving them, work through difficult experiences, or simply feel a little more comfortable in their own lives.
I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest. You don’t have to have the right words, know exactly what you need, or come in with everything figured out. You can show up messy, overwhelmed, frustrated, guarded, or completely unsure of where to start. We can figure it out together.
As someone who lives with a disability, I also know that resilience is a word that gets thrown around pretty casually. I understand what it means to build a life around limitations you didn’t choose while still wanting a life that feels full, meaningful, and genuinely yours. I bring that lived experience into my work, not because I think it means I understand everyone’s experience, but because I know what it feels like to keep going when things are heavy.
At the end of the day, I’m a therapist, but I’m also a real person. I won’t pretend to have all the answers or expect you to have yours. My job is to meet you where you are, help you understand what’s happening underneath the surface, and give you some tools to make things feel a little more manageable.
Hello! I’m Sheena Thomas, a licensed mental health clinician with over 15 years of experience in the Behavioral Health field. So, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized education and training in trauma-informed care. I believe most human suffering stems from the stress and trauma of existing within oppressive societal systems that seek to disconnect us from ourselves and others. I am deeply committed to examining, dismantling, and providing space to heal from these destructive systems. The therapeutic relationship should offer a safe environment to process chronic stress and trauma, explore the survival strategies you have developed, and build new skills that serve your present life. I am particularly interested in the mind-body connection—specifically regarding chronic stress and the nervous system—and I continually integrate somatic practices into my work with clients.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand how crucial it can be to find a therapist who understands the unique experience of navigating a heteronormative world. I have experience working in gender-affirming and HIV+ healthcare settings with trans, non-binary, gay, lesbian, and queer clients. I am dedicated to providing intersectional care across race, class, gender, religion, ethnicity, age, disability status, and all other identities. This means I will always consider how your various identities interact and influence how you move through and are treated in this world.
If you are interested in a free 15-minute phone consultation, please schedule your first session with at least a week's notice so that we have time to connect. I will reach out prior to the scheduled appointment. I offer sliding scale (for private-pay clients) and weekend time slots on an as-needed basis, which we can discuss during the phone consultation.
As a second-career social worker, I bring both professional experience and real-world perspective into the therapy space. My background includes working as an Older Adult Protective Services Investigator, a Home Health Care Social Worker, a mentor to college-aged individuals, and currently supporting Veterans experiencing homelessness who are navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, trauma, and substance use.
I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. Outside of work, I enjoy playing music, spending time with family and friends, and being in nature. I value practices that help people reconnect with themselves, find balance, and build resilience in ways that feel authentic and sustainable for them.

Hi! I'm Heather, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers virtual sessions in the state of Pennsylvania. I am passionate about mental health, self-care and helping individuals recognize their own strengths. As an empathetic clinician, I believe that everyone deserves to feel safe and supported. I stive to provide a space where individuals feel heard and understood. My therapeutic approach is rooted in strength based, trauma informed practices, helping individuals find the confidence to navigate life's challenges.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PA & WV) with 10 years of experience in outpatient mental health. I specialize in supporting individuals — both adolescents and adults — navigating the aftermath of trauma, loss, adoption/foster care challenges, grief, anxiety, and depression. With children and teens, I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF‑CBT), integrating trauma‑informed strategies tailored to younger clients. With adults, I use trauma-informed interventions alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adapting my approach to each person’s unique story, strengths, and pace.
Being adopted myself has deeply shaped my passion for adoption and foster care work — not just as a professional interest, but from lived experience. I understand the layers of identity, connection, loss, and belonging that come with these journeys, and I bring that insight to my practice with empathy and sensitivity.
I also maintain ongoing training in areas such as grief work, anxiety, depression, and relational dynamics to ensure I’m bringing current practices to our work.

Hi there, I'm Sophia!
I understand that reaching out for support isn't always easy. Life can be complicated, overwhelming, and sometimes downright unpredictable. Whether you're navigating a difficult transition, struggling with relationships, feeling stuck, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
I believe therapy should be a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable exploring the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be holding you back.
Together, we'll work to identify patterns, build on your strengths, gain new perspectives, and develop realistic strategies to help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and clarity. I believe meaningful change comes from a combination of self-awareness, personal growth, and having the right tools to move forward.
As a therapist, I bring both professional experience and a genuine appreciation for the complexities of being human. I believe in meeting you where you are while gently challenging you to move toward where you want to be.
Whether you're looking for support through a difficult time or ready to make lasting changes, my goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and more confident in creating a life that feels fulfilling and authentic to you.
Hi, I'm Coreen!
Are you struggling to manage stress? Are your relationships suffering? Do you feel disconnected from yourself?
I will help you explore your core identity and values as you work toward building the life you want. Together we will determine what is and is not working for you - mind, body, and spirit. We will also work on building new skills along the way.
I practice with a humanistic, relational lens, working to build trust in an empathetic, nonjudgmental environment and support you in setting individualized goals to meet your needs. I believe in the importance of self-compassion in fueling personal growth and will work hard to assist you in embodying your true self.
I'm Melissa, a psychotherapist in private practice for nine years.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and whole life centered.
Areas of specialty include Women's Issues (fertility, post-partum, motherhood, identity, etc,) relationship issues, and ADHD.
I became a therapist because therapy changed me, and continues to empower me.
I'm honored to help you process traumas or life's everyday stressors, support you in meeting goals we design together, and help you better love the one and only unique you.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Dr. Carl Rogers
My own ADHD diagnosis at age 30 was life altering, and continues to fuel my compassion for clients struggling to figure themselves out.
I also love empowering clients to strengthen their relationships, have more empathy for themselves and others, and discover what calm contentment means to them and how to achieve it.
I am a licensed therapist with 8 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a person-centered approach to help form a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable opening up. I like to consider my approach to therapy eclectic. Each person has different needs and what works for one does not work for all. I like to be creative with each of my clients and find the treatment modality that will work best for them and their situation. I personally have struggled with my own anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child. This is what led me to want to be a therapist to help others.

My name is Marlo. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also a Certified School Psychologist. I have worked in the mental health field for over 22 years, and I have been providing individual therapy for 4. In a world where kindness is not always common, a nonjudgemental listening ear and a safe space to unpack whats been weighing you down can be invaluable. Allow me to walk with you on your journey towards healing, growth and wellness.
Hi there! I'm a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping you move toward a healthier, more hopeful future. My own early life experiences have shaped my passion for supporting others, giving me a deep understanding of the challenges children, teens, and families face—especially around conflict, abuse, isolation, and rejection. As well as the long lasting effects these have on adults that did not have the opportunity to address them sooner.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) with over five years of experience supporting people through cancer, serious illness, grief, and loss. As a two-time breast cancer survivor myself, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to this work, not because I have all the answers, but because I know that no two experiences are the same.
If you're facing a cancer diagnosis, navigating life after treatment, living with chronic illness or chronic pain, grieving a loss, or caring for someone seriously ill, you don't have to carry that alone. I work with family caregivers as well as the nurses and healthcare professionals who carry this work every day. My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply human, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment.
Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and neither does healing. Whether your loss is recent or resurfacing years later, whether you're newly diagnosed, deep in treatment, in survivorship, or supporting someone you love through it all, you deserve a space that is entirely yours. A place to say the things you can't say anywhere else.
I see clients via telehealth across Pennsylvania.

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in the same patterns? You don’t have to navigate it alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 25 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and families create healthier relationships, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Ecosystemic Family Structural Therapy (EFST) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify negative or recurring thought patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges, and develop practical tools to create lasting change.
Whether your child is struggling emotionally, your teen feels overwhelmed, or your family is facing challenges in communication or connection, therapy can provide support, clarity, and effective strategies for growth and healing.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but meaningful change is possible. I look forward to supporting you and your family on that journey.
