About me

I value evidence-based treatment! I know approaching mental health can often feel confusing, undefined, and can elicit questions like, "Where do I even begin?" I want to create a roadmap to feeling better. We'll define markers of progress and track your momentum over time. By creating clear indicators for success, we'll have a clear, grounded approach to treatment. Further, it is incredibly important to me that you feel safe and welcomed in-session. I know that treatment can be a very vulnerable process, so your comfort is of the utmost importance. We can move at whatever speed feels best to you. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Of course, I want to spend our first session getting to know you! We'll discuss what brings you to reatment and what goals you want to achieve together. We'll also review some short-term tools to quickly get on the path to feeling better. From there, we'll create an action plan for long-term goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a cornerstone of my approach. We will explore your natural understanding of yourself, others, and the world (Core Beliefs) and how these preconceptions impact your wellbeing. Often, our brain can take little shortcuts based on our Core Beliefs that end up causing us distress in the long run. Together, we'll challenge the unhelpful beliefs and adapt to a more helpful approach!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I welcome all walks of life in-session! I only ask that you bring openness and willingness. Often, our brain will leave us feeling very certain about the outlook of our situation, and it convinces us with strong emotions. However, brighter futures are more possible than we often think. The only requirements are a willingness to try new approaches and trust the process!
