Hi my name is Alexis "Lexi" Edge LPC! I earned my Masters of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Duquesne University. My most important goal is to create a balanced therapeutic environment; a safe space that is nonjudgmental and empathetic while also challenging you to be your best self and achieve your desired goals.
My name is Lauren DeTurk. I got my LPC license in May 2014. However, I have been in the field for 25 years. My top 3 specialties are infertility, Postpartum Depression and Postpartum Anxiety, and Anxiety. Another specialty and passion I have is working with couples doing couple's therapy or marital & family therapy. I thrive working with couples and this population I am extremely passionate about. I also have extensive experience treating eating disorders (binge eating disorder, bulimia, anorexia, eating disorders unspecified) throughout the years. My name is Karen Johnson and I am a licensed clinical social worker that has a vast array of professional and personal experience. I am a graduate of Temple University and have close to 20 years of experience working with mostly adults, but several years of working with children and adolescents early in my career.
I strongly believe, you know yourself best and would like to work with you in a collaborative fashion. I see each client as a whole person that encompasses the mind, body and spirit. I use an eclectic approach in my work using a variety of tools such as mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation and other mind and body-based techniques. You are your own expert and I can help you facilitate change and growth in your daily life.
Welcome, thank you for viewing my profile. Life can be overwhelming, and we may need extra support at times to navigate it. I am a clinical social worker with over 8 years of experience serving children, adults, and families. My goal is to provide a supportive and safe place for clients to work toward personal goals and improve their overall wellbeing. I strive to help clients feel safe to explore the difficulties they may be experiencing regarding issues like anxiety, depression, and coping skills. I utilize a warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative approach with clients to provide support while exploring these difficulties.
I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I have extensive training in helping people who are going through or have experienced narcissistic abuse and any form of childhood trauma, this includes verbal and emotional abuse, family addictions, or any early childhood experience that would cause one to feel unsafe. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, worry and mood concerns and work with addictions, obsessive compulsive behaviors and any poor coping skills or core beliefs that were developed in order to manage these stressors. I use practices primarily focused on somatic and cognitive therapy but also utilize acceptance commitment therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and am solution focused. I use homework and assignments aimed at regulating the nervous system in order to repair the fight/flight/freeze response that is often stuck on due to a continuous history of a variety of life stressors (trauma). This trapped and stored trauma continues to trigger the nervous system to respond in ways where we continue to feel unsafe, even after the threats have passed. By working with the nervous system to release this trapped trauma and find safety, we can then have the opportunity to respond to the world differently.
I help professionals in recovery who are carrying more than anyone realizes. Many of my clients are high-achieving people who have spent years holding everything together on the outside while privately struggling with alcohol, substances, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, or burnout. They’re people who have been depended on—at home, at work, and in their families—and they’re tired of performing, hiding, or white-knuckling their way through life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in addiction recovery, trauma, and life transitions, I bring a grounded, practical, and compassionate approach. My work is deeply influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), values-based living, and helping clients build a life that feels aligned rather than pressured or chaotic.
I understand that asking for help—especially as a professional—comes with unique challenges: reputation concerns, workplace stress, perfectionism, shame, fear of consequences, and relationships strained by years of coping alone. My role is not to judge or lecture, but to offer a private, steady space where you can talk openly, regain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier, more peaceful life.
Whether you’re navigating early sobriety, long-term recovery, career demands, relationship stress, or a sense that you’ve lost yourself, I’m here to walk with you—not as an authority figure, but as someone who respects the courage it takes to show up.
If you’re ready for therapy that’s confidential, respectful, and tailored to the realities of being a professional in recovery, I’d be honored to support you.

Hello, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I have been practicing for 10 years as a psychotherapist. I have over 20 years of experience in various nonprofit and social service agencies. My therapeutic approach has been to take a whole person approach with each individual that I have a pleasure to service. My ability to partner with individuals and identify interventions that are useful to promote growth in their journey. It also is very important for individuals to develop their own voice. My focus is on fostering this experience authentically in session.
Hello I am Christine Fallon a LCSW in Pennsylvania. I have been in practice for over 17 years. I have had extensive experience in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, grief, trauma, and significant mental illness to include schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. I graduated from Marywood University and began my career. I enjoy helping others find a better way to thrive in this world where there is so much uncertainty we face.
I have supervised other clinicians in the field to expand on their skills and begin their careers. It would be an honor to help you in any way I can.
My work as a clinician is grounded in compassion and a deeply person-centered approach. I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely understood and accepted, so I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace. Compassion guides how I listen, how I respond, and how I tailor therapy to each unique child and family, ensuring that the counseling process feels gentle, respectful, and attuned to their needs.
When working with children, I primarily use mindfulness-based play therapy. Play is a natural form of communication for children, allowing them to express emotions, explore relationships, and process challenges in a developmentally appropriate way. By integrating mindfulness practices, I help children become more aware of their thoughts and feelings, regulate their bodies, and develop self-compassion. This blend helps them build emotional resilience and fosters a deeper connection with themselves.
Although most of the work occurs individually with the child, I incorporate family therapy sessions when they can meaningfully support the child’s progress. These sessions are not the main focus of treatment, but a valuable addition that strengthens communication, builds understanding, and helps families create more mindful and supportive environments at home. My goal is to guide families with compassion, helping them recognize patterns and learn ways to nurture their child’s growth.
I also draw from contextual therapy, which helps me understand each client within the larger systems and relationships that influence their daily life. Approaching these dynamics with empathy and curiosity allows me to support clients and families in healing relational wounds and building healthier, more balanced connections.
Across all modalities, compassion remains at the heart of my work. I aim to meet every person with warmth and respect, creating a healing experience that honors their story and supports meaningful, lasting change.

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you finding you are not as happy as you should be? Are there negative thoughts that intrude in your daily life?
I am here to help you figure out what you need to do to be your best self. Everyone can use an objective voice to help them work out whatever is going on in their lives. Sometimes relief can begin just by deciding that a little help won’t hurt. I have the experience to help with the stress of today's world. This experience helps me understand and empathize with clients’ situations and so can offer real world help. I believe you to be an active participant in therapy, I am not here to tell you how to run your life. I am here to help you find your own path.
I am a Pennsylvania-licensed psychologist with 23 years of counseling experience with adults of all ages, from late-adolescence and across the lifespan.
My practice focuses on helping individuals develop personally meaningful ways of navigating anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, time-of-life transitions, and identity development. These therapeutic partnerships often involve identity-affirming explorations of racial, ethnic, LGBTQIA, and neuro-diversity matters within clients’ lives.
I strive to help individuals feel deeply regarded as I support clients in exploring their experiences of self-worth, hope, flexibility, and compassion toward themselves and with others. What keeps a person stuck within struggles and what inner strengths are beacons for positive growth and change? Clients and I collaborate through curiosity and creativity, as we seek to identify clients' strengths and their inner resources (so often already there, but not yet acknowledged) for navigating life's really tough moments.
I utilize a humanistic, strengths-based style while drawing on CBT, psychodynamic, and narrative techniques as I support clients' development of self-worth, flexibility, and self-compassion. We work toward positive growth and change and toward the development of nourishing, supportive relationships.
