My practice focuses on helping individuals develop personally meaningful ways of navigating anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, time-of-life transitions, and identity development. These therapeutic partnerships often involve identity-affirming explorations of racial, ethnic, LGBTQIA, and neuro-diversity matters within clients’ lives.
I strive to help individuals feel deeply regarded as I support clients in exploring their experiences of self-worth, hope, flexibility, and compassion toward themselves and with others. Hi, I’m Gina Aiello, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, and a National Certified Counselor. I work with adults and young adults who are learning how to navigate life with ADHD and all the challenges and strengths that come with it.
If you’ve ever felt like your brain just works differently - jumping from one thought to another, forgetting things that matter, or getting stuck in cycles of overwhelm and guilt, you’re not alone! I get how frustrating it can be to know you’re capable, but still struggle to stay focused or follow through.
In our sessions, my goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood. There’s no judgment here, just curiosity, compassion, and a lot of real talk. We’ll figure out what’s actually getting in your way and build strategies that make sense for you (not some one-size-fits-all plan from a book).
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. Where you don’t have to perform or pretend you’ve got it all together. You just get to show up as you are, and we’ll take it from there.
If you’re ready to start feeling more grounded, confident, and in control of your own rhythm, I’d love to work with you ◡̈
Welcome!
Congratulations on taking the courageous first step of seeking out a therapist. It is an act of bravery and courage to explore what is impacting you or your child. Contacting a therapist can feel intimidating and overwhelming, but I hope you will take a minute (and maybe a few deep breaths) to see how I can help.
I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or significant life transitions.I have been working in the mental health field for over 7 years, including over 4 years in a residential treatment setting treating children struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, and PTSD, as well as other diagnoses. I utilize TF-CBT, mindfulness, and other modalities in my practice.
Thank you for considering me to be a part of your journey!
Welcome — this is a space where you can be honest, seen, and understood. I’m Shakea “Kea” Roper, LCSW, and I bring 15 years of clinical and life experience to our therapeutic partnership. If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by cycles that just won’t shift — I see you.
I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, racing or intrusive thoughts, life transitions, and relational struggle. My style is active, grounded, and rooted in both compassion and challenge. Many clients say: “Kea listens like no one else — and she’s not afraid to stretch me when I need it.”
I integrate evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Brief Therapy) along with more specialized models:
Making Sense of Your Worth (MSoYW): an 8-week group curriculum developed by HALO Project where we explore and heal the internal “lies” we believe about ourselves, rebuild toward positive self-worth and secure attachment.
Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT): a structured, cognitive-behavioral system where we work through step-by-step exercises to enhance reasoning, decision-making, and a healthier identity (beyond self-destructive or impulsive patterns).
I also actively engage in community work, and I’m currently pursuing my doctorate (which continues to deepen my perspective and rigor). Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me at board game night, crafting, or spending time with family.
It’s an honor to walk alongside you. Nelson Mandela said, “Everything seems impossible until it’s done.” Let’s work together toward the possible.
I’m currently accepting clients in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Utah, North Dakota, and Nevada.
Hi, I'm Dr. Ryan Buhite. I'm a "down-to-earth" person who enjoys getting to know people and what will help them succeed. I am passionate about helping others grow, change, and reach their full potential. I believe the therapeutic alliance with my clients is a critical component of the treatment process. I work alongside my clients to help them get through life’s challenges, such as major life changes, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I customize science-based interventions for my clients' situations that make positive changes in thier lives. I received my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) from Wright State University in 2007 and have been Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Psychology since 2014. Following graduate school, I served in the United States Air Force as a clinical psychologist, treating clients, consulting with leadership, and training young clinicians. In the Air Force, I received extensive training from nationally recognized experts in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma so I could be effective in treating our nation's service men and women. While I have experience working with many different clinical concerns, I specialize in working with veterans, those with anxiety and depression, trauma, and men's issues.
I am a licensed Professional Counselor based in NJ. As your therapist I'm here to support you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery. I believe in the power of a safe and judgment-free space, where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings without fear.
I bring a caring and compassionate approach to our sessions. I understand that everyone is on their own unique path, and I am here to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to create an inclusive environment where you feel truly heard, valued, and understood. I specialize in anxiety, school issues, self-esteem, grief, life transitions, career changes, and tailor our approach to suit your specific needs.
I understand that reaching out for help can be scary, but I want you to know that you are not alone. I want to empower you to move forward.
I am a licensed psychologist with many years of experience in cognitive behavioral therapy. I have had success using CBT to treat anxiety, panic, anger issues, insomnia, and chronic pain. Treatment is goal oriented, skill based, and backed by research.
I think that it is very important to learn to judge yourself and the world less harshly. I believe that our unrealistic thoughts and expectations are major contributors to our discontent. I have found that some of the concepts of Eastern and Stoic philosophy can help put our lives into better perspective.
I particularly like the aspects of psychology that are based on science. As a field, we know a lot about how people learn and how early experience shapes our current moods and behavior. I also like to incorporate current ideas in neurology and physiology that support behavior change.
I am so glad you're here and ready to take the next step towards your wellness! My name is Marisela, but you can call me Mari. I am a passionate, dancing, coffee loving, Latina, who is also a spooky enthusiast. I love what I do, and I love working with people. I truly believe in each person and their own abilities and capabilities. My job as your therapist is to listen without judgment, and provide a sounding board to support you in uncovering what capabilities and knowledge you already have. I believe in meeting people where they are at, and building a deep therapeutic relationship. I utilize a person centered, culturally sensitive approach. I also believe in using a mind body approach, where together we can uncover what is stored in the body to promote healing. As your therapist, I can also offer psycho-education on coping skills, distress tolerance skills, and a solution focused approach to get you to a place where life feels manageable. I recognize that honest and direct feedback opens up the ability for growth and change, and will always offer that. Together we will investigate different approaches to get you to where you want to be and to meet your goals. We will create a space that is affirming, laid back, and collaborative to encourage safety so that you can show up fully, as yourself. I want you to feel like we are a team, because we are!
As a therapist, I aim to create a safe and warm environment that allows each individual to deepen self-understanding and achieve their goals in therapy. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaboration between therapist and client to work toward change.
It is my goal to walk alongside clients as they navigate the delicate balance of acceptance and change in their lives. I have experience working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and relationship stressors.
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I consider myself to be eclectic in my therapeutic approach by utilizing techniques from different modalities to meet each client’s individual needs. I have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and The Gottman Method for couple's counseling. I am also a certified Symbis Facilitator for pre-martial counseling. I look forward to connecting with you as you take this next step.

I am committed to helping you achieve your goals of personal wellness by exploring your strengths, relationships, thoughts, and behaviors and how each of these influence your daily life. I believe in a holistic approach to help you find balance in your life and overcome difficulties that show up along the way. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy techniques.
My education includes a Bachelors degree in Psychology from California University of PA and a Masters degree in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech. I am National Certified Counselor (NCC) and hold Pennsylvania state certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Childhood Studies from Rutgers University, where I also minored in Criminal Justice and Gender Studies. My professional background is rooted in advocacy, social justice, and client-centered, trauma-informed care.
I specialize in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and support adolescents, young adults, and adults through deeply human experiences such as interpersonal violence, anxiety, depression, grief, self-doubt, racial identity, complex trauma, and life transitions. My therapeutic work is grounded in evidence-based modalities including CBT, Psychoanalytic, and Psychodynamic therapy—always held within a culturally responsive and client-centered lens. This is more than treatment—it’s connection, truth-telling, and reclamation.
I work with you to explore the unconscious roots of your present-day distress—unraveling long-standing relational patterns, internal conflicts, and attachment wounds. Together, we examine how your early experiences have shaped your sense of self and relationships, not to stay in the past, but to understand it with compassion and gain new freedom in the present. I honor the complexity of healing—holding space for ambiguity, contradiction, and growth that unfolds over time.
When requested, I integrate Christian counseling techniques—offering faith-based support if you want to explore your relationship with God and see your journey through a Christ-centered lens. Whether your faith is strong or just beginning, I use spiritual reflection, Scripture, and prayer as grounding tools for meaning-making, motivation, and healing. I aim to co-create a space where you can breathe deeper, speak freer, and begin again without shame. This is your space to show up as you are—to be witnessed in your becoming and reclaim your story.

Hi, I'm a therapist with over thirty years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families and historically getting positive results. I tend to work with families with special members such as teens and seniors. I have always worked with teens as it seemed to be a population others found difficult, but I liked the challenge. Now that I am a senior, I better understand the needs of our demographic. I tend to utilize a Family Systems approach which sees the individual in a family context as the majority has grown up in some form of family, whether related by blood or not. I've also taught Marriage and Family Therapy through what is now Drexel University's Family Therapy Program and have offered professional Supervision as a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. By working with the client in a collaborative, goal setting manner, faster more positive results seem to be achieved.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Central New Jersey. If you’re struggling, please know you don’t have to face it alone. With over 5 years of experience, I’ve worked with adults navigating a wide

make meaningful changes in your life Whether you’re looking for relief from overwhelming emotions, navigating a major life transition, or seeking clarity and balance, I’m here to guide and support you. Together,
we’ll uncover your strengths and create a path toward healing and hope.
Hi, I'm Karmen a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I operate Peace and Trust Behavioral Health, PLLC. A purpose in my life is to help people struggling with life's challenges especially with the challenges that result in anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I invite you to use our safe space to express your real-life issues and to be willing to learn and develop the coping skills that will become your strengths - sustainable skills that you will be able to apply over and over again in your life. I am a graduate of Cabrini and Temple Universities in Pennsylvania with over 20 years of experience serving individuals who are coping with the trauma of homelessness, serious mental illness, and medical health conditions.
I am a psychotherapist who works with a diverse population of people. My goal is to collaborate with individuals to assist them in achieving their therapy goal(S). My treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and Ericksonian hypnotherapy approaches. Although I used these modalities, I do not use a one size fits all approach. I am a think-out-of-the-box clinician that will often challenge clients to try approaches that may be out of their comfort zone. Some examples of my experience include working with individual clients on developing skills in coping with mental health conditions/diagnosis, life stress, finding balance, and improving self-esteem. Although I use these approaches, my clients tell me it feels like we are having a conversation as opposed to feeling like they are in a therapy session. I have a specialization in working with Veterans, LGBTQI, men, and people of color populations. However, I work with all people who are seeking mental health services. I am licensed in DC (LICSW), VA (LCSW), MD (LCSW-C), and PA (LCSW). I have BS in Human Ecology, BA in Humanities from The Ohio State University, MSW from San Jose State University and Post Masters fellowship in mental health from Stanford University.

I am a counselor, advocate, coach, and motivator.
I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) located in Southwestern Pennsylvania. I hold a master’s degree in professional counseling from Carlow University. My counseling approach is integrative with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) combined with acceptance and commitment (ACT) therapeutic methods and techniques. We work together to identify values underlying therapy goals and develop actions to achieve those goals. Life situations and our response consists of thoughts, emotions and behaviors which lead to an outcome. In the therapeutic relationship, we develop customized methods and techniques in talk therapy that can offer an alternative perspective toward an improved outcome and overall wellness and personal well-being unique to your circumstances and life situation.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of experience in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. I am a certified ADHD Clinical Specialist. For the past four years, I have worked primarily with middle school and high school age clients. I am comfortable working with adults and children of all ages. I believe that mental health treatment is vital to the mind, body, and soul of each person.
I grew up in Eastern Europe and moved to the USA as an adult. I speak Russian, Ukrainian, and English languages. I had to learn a whole new way of living, face my fears, and overcome many barriers and understand how important communication is in moving forward in life in the direction we want to go. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with many different people. I've counseled older adults, LGBTQ+, immigrants and refugees from all over the world. I believe in creating a warm and welcoming space where you can feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings, and I am here to help you feel understood and valued.
I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work from Edinboro University - now PennWest - in 2007, and I recently became certified in EMDR and member of EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) International Association. I am also certified in treating Insomnia with Cognitive-behavioral Therapy for Insomnia - CBT-I.
