Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania with over 8 years working with children, adolescents, and adults. I work with people who are navigating anxiety, stress, school challenges, peer relationships, and major life transitions. Many of my clients may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to manage the pressures they’re facing. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, talking through what they’re experiencing, and developing practical strategies to feel more confident and in control. As a certified school social worker, I have extensive experience supporting students with disabilities, navigating the IEP process, and collaborating with families and school teams to help students succeed. I understand that challenges at school can affect a young person’s emotional well-being, confidence, relationships, and home life. I work collaboratively with clients and their families to better understand their individual needs, build on their strengths, and help them move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
In our first session, we'll start with introductions and expectations. Then you'll be given space to describe what brought you to therapy and the issues you'd like to address. We will create a plan for meeting your needs and outline a plan for working together to accomplish your goals.
Having worked with children, adolescents, and adults for the past few years, I'm able to quickly build rapport and create genuine connection to build trust and establish the best plan to reach your goals.
I love working with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating life stress and transitions. My clients are eager to learn and improve, but might not have the appropriate skills yet. They're open-minded and committed to their own progress. Sometimes they feel anxious about moving from one grade to the next, graduating high school, managing peer relationship, and making decisions about the next path to take in their lives.

I've been using CBT with clients for the past 4 years to encourage the use of coping strategies and explore cognitive distortions. Through CBT, you'll learn to recognize the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and how to take steps to change your automatic thoughts to decrease negative intrusive thoughts in your life.
