Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania! I have been a practicing mental health clinician for 4 years. I help kids and young adults work through school, peer, and life stress and navigate life transitions to be their best selves! I work full time as a school social worker and am experienced with working with students with disabilities, navigating the IEP process, and partnering with school personnel to best meet the needs of students. I enjoy continuing that work in the evenings in this setting as it is often the best time to engage students and parents. Individuals up to age 26 are able to book sessions with me.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll start with introductions and expectations. Then you'll be given space to describe what brought you to therapy and the issues you'd like to address. We will create a plan for meeting your needs and outline a plan for working together to accomplish your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with students and young adults for the past few years, I'm able to quickly build rapport and create genuine connection to build trust and establish the best plan to reach your goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with students and young adults who are navigating life stress and transitions for the first time. My clients eager to learn and improve, but might not have the appropriate skills yet. They're open-minded and committed to their own progress. Sometimes they feel anxious about moving from one grade to the next, graduating high school, managing peer relationship, and making decisions about the next path to take in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been using CBT with clients for the past 4 years to encourage the use of coping strategies and explore cognitive distortions. Through CBT, you'll learn to recognize the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, and how to take steps to change your automatic thoughts to decrease negative intrusive thoughts in your life.
