I’m a therapist who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, and life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and high-functioning, yet find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional overwhelm, or patterns in relationships that don’t feel fulfilling. You may understand why you do what you do, but still feel unsure how to change it.
In our work together, I focus on helping you connect the dots between your past experiences, current patterns, and the goals you have for your life. Through a collaborative and supportive process, we build both insight and practical tools so you can feel more grounded, confident, and in control. Over time, this work often leads to healthier relationships, improved emotional balance, and a stronger sense of self.

Hi, I'm Wendy.
Do you find yourself wondering if your relationship is healthy? Do you feel overwhelmed by daily tasks and have trouble remembering the last time things felt 'normal?'
Together, we'll explore the challenges that have gotten in the way of you living your best quality of life and getting the relationships with others that you deserve. I use an eclectic approach that starts with coaching and coping skills and reaches into the deeper issues that cause fear, loneliness, and frustration by combining interpersonal effectiveness, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral methodologies with insight driven approaches such as relational therapy and trauma focused perspectives as needed.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with
Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I have worked with individuals in relational and traumatic crises for over fifteen years. I use humor, optimism, compassion, and honesty to ease the awkwardness of therapy and guide people to embrace their worth, freeing them to find what they seek in others.
A few moments to introduce myself. Professionally I am known as
I. Barry Bell, Ph.D. I am a 73-year-old, male, Caucasian Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for 39 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, in both in-patient psychiatric hospitals and out-patient clinical settings. I have also maintained my own private practice from September 2016 to the present.
Prior to receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1985, I trained extensively as a Modern Dancer for 10 years. During these years I became deeply involved in emerging positive psychologies and Eastern/Buddhist/Taoist studies. This was the beginning of the interface between what is now referred to as Mindfulness based approaches to psychotherapy and Eastern philosophies, especially Buddhist. Mindfulness approaches to psychotherapy are now at the forefront of evidence-based interventions.
I have spent more than the past 20 years studying and practicing the interface between psychotherapy and personal psychological growth. Over the years I have integrated various theoretical approaches, including depth psychodynamic theories. I will be happy to discuss my approach with you further should you choose to contact me to consider engaging in psychotherapeutic work with me.
With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I am passionate about supporting adults and couples as they navigate life’s transitions and pursue meaningful growth. Whether you are a college student or recent graduate adjusting to a new season of life, an individual facing anxiety or depression, or a couple preparing for marriage or working to strengthen your relationship, I strive to provide guidance that feels both supportive and practical.
My Christian faith shapes my personal values; however, I work with people from all backgrounds and beliefs. Faith-based perspectives are incorporated into counseling only if a client specifically desires it.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Life transitions—whether expected or unexpected—can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing and work toward the emotional and personal goals that matter most to you.
I have experience working with adults experiencing life changes, including college and post-college transitions, relationship challenges, marriage and premarital preparation, and parenting. I also support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and stress that often accompany these seasons of change. My background as a behavioral specialist in community mental health allows me to effectively support adults diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder, as well as parents raising children with these diagnoses.
In my work with couples, I draw from my experience as a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator to help partners strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and build healthier, more connected relationships.
When working with individuals, I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My focus is on equipping you with practical tools and strategies so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.
Therapy is about connecting with and formulating a safe relationship to explore and address your concerns through the therapeutic process; empowering you to achieve your goals of becoming happier and fulfilled in your relationships, life, and yourself. I want to assist you with achieving whatever solutions and/or life changes you are looking for in a safe and open environment.
I use an eclectic approach working from multiple modalities that best fit the client's goals, needs, and experiences. I have experience working with young adults, and adults with varying diagnoses. I specialize in the treatment of anger, anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, self-esteem building, and stress management.
As a therapist, my goal is to help to grow your personal strengths throughout the therapeutic process. In a non-judgmental environment, we will work together to build on your strengths and begin to understand the meaning of your distressing symptoms which will ultimately lead to growth and a positive transformation.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in community settings, transitional housing programs, and family court. I work with adults of all ages and have a special interest in supporting older adults, as well as people experiencing life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, or spiritual concerns. For clients who desire it, I integrate spirituality and the Christian faith into the therapeutic process in ways that are meaningful and respectful of each person's faith. In addition to being a therapist, I am also an ordained minister who works with people of various faiths.
As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am committed to providing an affirming environment for LGBTQ individuals. I recognize that navigating identity, relationships, family dynamics, and faith can be complex. I strive to create a space where every person feels respected, valued, and empowered to live authentically.
My approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spirit. I use emotional freedom technique and mindfulness based therapy. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
Have you ever been blindsided by life? Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your feelings and emotions? Trust me, we have all been there trying to figure out this beautiful thing called LIFE. It is my passion to assist people navigating through the highs and lows of their personal life. I like to view our sessions as collaborations to help you put things in perspective and hopefully obtain the solutions you seek. My desire is to empower you to live the life that you want to live.

Hi, I'm Melanie! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 27 years of experience as a clinician in a variety of settings. Whether you need to work through some heavy stuff from the past that's been weighing you down or you just want to process some day-to-day work or relationship stress, therapy can be a major step in the right direction toward self-care!
Prior to starting my private practice I was working for the Veterans Health Administration and I remain passionate about continuing to be an advocate for Veterans to educate them about and link them to resources and services that are available to them.
As a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, I bring 16 years of dedicated experience supporting individuals, couples and families through complex life challenges. I specialize in addressing depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, and personal growth. I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families that are struggling with family conflict, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, parenting, and behavioral concerns. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and two doodles.
I’m Cindy, a psychotherapist who believes that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves. I work with individuals struggling with addiction and its impact on loved ones, depression, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and those navigating life’s transitions or searching for a greater sense of meaning and purpose.
Sometimes we repeat patterns that no longer serve us, carrying negative beliefs about ourselves without fully understanding where they came from. Together, we can explore those patterns, uncover their origins, and begin to see ourselves and our lives differently.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe that feeling safe enough to be honest about who we are, including the parts we’d rather hide, is essential to healing. You don’t have to have everything figured out or know where to begin.
Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, recovering from painful experiences, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, discover new possibilities, and build a life you no longer feel the need to escape from.
Hi, I'm Trish Pierzga, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6+ years of experience. I know that life can be challenging and difficult. I also know that it is easy to feel stuck. My goal for each session is help you feel comfortable so you can explore and move past those challenges.
When I think about what I look for in a therapist myself, it is someone who listens, is not afraid to challenge me, and helps guide me through life's transitions. I believe I bring this style to my own clients. I love what I do and I bring this excitement into my sessions because I want people to feel safe and grow in their confidence to overcome the obstacles they are facing.
It is a pleasure and privilege to be invited into someone’s life journey. I am very passionate and dedicated in honoring one’s personal story. Welcome! I'm Tiffany Newkirk.
I applaud you taking the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. I focus on helping clients develop assertive communication & boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life.
Counseling can foster personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to share. I enjoy working together with clients to help the find peace in their lives. We all encounter struggles throughout our lives and sometimes we need to process our situations with a trusted individual so we can recover and experience the fullness of our lives. Let us start your path to healing.
Hi, I’m Erica, a therapist in the Philadelphia area who believes healing is rarely neat, linear, or Instagram-perfect. My approach blends evidence-based tools with an honest appreciation for how complicated, funny, painful, and beautiful being human can be.
My approach combines evidence based tools with curiosity, compassion, humor, and a genuine interest in understanding what makes you, well, you. I work with people who want to understand themselves better, break patterns that are no longer serving them, work through difficult experiences, or simply feel a little more comfortable in their own lives.
I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest. You don’t have to have the right words, know exactly what you need, or come in with everything figured out. You can show up messy, overwhelmed, frustrated, guarded, or completely unsure of where to start. We can figure it out together.
As someone who lives with a disability, I also know that resilience is a word that gets thrown around pretty casually. I understand what it means to build a life around limitations you didn’t choose while still wanting a life that feels full, meaningful, and genuinely yours. I bring that lived experience into my work, not because I think it means I understand everyone’s experience, but because I know what it feels like to keep going when things are heavy.
At the end of the day, I’m a therapist, but I’m also a real person. I won’t pretend to have all the answers or expect you to have yours. My job is to meet you where you are, help you understand what’s happening underneath the surface, and give you some tools to make things feel a little more manageable.

Hello. My name is John Petkac and I have been providing psychotherapy services for over 29 years. In addition to clinical psychology, I have background and education in music education, philosophy, spirituality and religion. My background and life experience gives me an ability to see a larger picture of situations in life and offer unique resolutions to things that may be occuring.
I am a strong believer in the individual's ability to address and resolve their own issues. Through the process of therapy, we will explore what has been working for you and what has not. It is my belief and practice to treat the person, not the symptoms or the problem. We will work on building and adding to the skills you already possess to help you to build a more fulfilling life.
An integral part of this process is assisting you in an increased understanding and awareness of yourself. Personal growth involves seeing and making informed choices. Therein lies the importance of self-awareness - there is no choice where there is no awareness. Raising a level of self-awareness increases your ability to have and make choices.
Through exploration of these factors and possibly more, we will work toward a resolution that works for you and one that allows you to live a fuller and happier life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.
My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy.
I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility.

I provide psychotherapy and behavioral health services for adults (18+) experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges, including:
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and stress-related concerns
- Relationship and marital difficulties
- Life transitions and personal growth
- Emotional regulation
-Obsessive and repetitive behaviors, including Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) such as hair pulling (trichotillomania) and skin picking (excoriation disorder)
- Behavioral concerns requiring evidence-based interventions
My counseling style is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe each person possesses the capacity for growth and healing, even during life's most difficult seasons. Together, we will work to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify your strengths, and develop practical strategies that support lasting change and emotional well-being. At Chrysalis Mental Health, I believe meaningful transformation happens through connection, self-discovery, and intentional growth. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, seeking healthier relationships, or working toward greater emotional balance, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and resilience.
