Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and I have been practicing for nine years. I received my master's degree from Gannon University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate about helping women, adolescents, and families find light in dark times in their lives and becoming the best version of their selves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will get to know one another and discuss what therapy looks like. I will gather a thorough history to better understand the unique challenges you are facing. We will assess what may be working and identify goals to address the things that are not.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths as a therapist are the variety of settings I worked and length of my experience which has afforded me to gain a lot of toots to assist client in navigating their issues. I connect really well with others, and I work hard to create a safe non-judgmental environment to discuss painful things.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with people who are ready to challenge the thinking and behavioral patterns that have been keeping them stuck. My ideal client would be open to embracing the process of change and willing to do the work necessary with assistance from me and tools to help them get there.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

This is utilized to examine early attachment styles with primary caregivers and how they impact current behaviors and reactions in relationships. Aims to build healthier attachment patterns, improving emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Provide psychoeducation on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Assist in identifying, challenging and reframing negative cognitions that contribute to negative symptoms.

Eclectic

An eclectic approach in therapy is a flexible and integrative method that combines techniques and principles from various therapeutic modalities to best meet the unique needs of an individual or client. This allows me not to limit myself to one specific theoretical framework but instead draw upon elements from different therapeutic approaches as I see fit. Some approaches I draw from include Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Structural Family Therapy, Ecosystemic Family Therapy, and various trauma resolution interventions.
